   I'm certifiable!

Well. That still didn't come out right!

I took my last IC3 test today and passed with 933 out of 1000! Yay me! That's one certification out of the way and I'm not sure how many to go.

I've decided the reason my leg hurts is that the ladies at the circulation desk of the Council Bluffs Library have a voodoo doll of me and jab it in the leg whenever they discover I'm at the Omaha Library. And the way they know I'm at the Omaha Libraray is they have Super-Omaha-Library-Sense.

Well, then. I better go now. I'm hungry and my brother is coming down from Kingsley. We're gonna hit the art museum tomorrow. That should be interesting considering what a pain it is to walk.

   My day to feel out of it.

I don't know if it's the weather or my cold, but today is my day to feel out of it. The weather is cool & damp. The cold kept me awake until around 2:30 this morning. Blah. I ended up sleeping til 10:30ish and even taking an hour and a half nap this afternoon. If this keeps up, I'll sleep tonight so I can get up for my test somewhat rested tomorrow.

I also went on my Omaha library run today. Remember a couple weeks ago I said I pulled a muscle in my leg walking from the front door to the elevator there? Well, my leg had been feeling better, but still a little tender.... until today. Walking from my car to the library, I felt a couple of pops in the same calf muscle!!! And the pain was enough that I was almost ready to cry. After taking it easy in the apartment this afternoon, it's feeling a bit better. But still, it's not fun walking around this way.

I did have a truly wicked wicked thought today. I was at a strip mall on the north side of Council Bluffs just nosing around. There's a Weight Watchers place there. I was so tempted to go and wave a Krispy Kreme bag at them.

   Another day of nothing much

Well. I didn't do much today. I was going to do my running around in the morning, but I went to the apartment management office and asked about a latch for one of my cupboards. Well...I didn't get a latch for the cupboard, but I did end up getting three other things I've been wanting fixed in the apartment taken care of!!! The kitchen sink had been a sore point since the day I moved in! It would make the most horrible noise when I turned it on. Now I have a nice shiny new faucet! The hall light switch had gone bad and now it's also nice and shiny new. And I got the maintenance guy to take the shade off the balcony!

Otherwise, I did very little. Just the normal library run. And here I am now. I did do a little rearranging up in my intro area. See... my HTML class taught me something!

I did get to sleep somewhere around 2 this morning. It's really a trip getting about 5 hours of sleep, then getting out of bed at 6:30 to go to class, and then staying awake until almost 2:00 am. I slept until almost 10:30 again. I really need to get my sleep schedule back on track. Especially next week 'cause I have class every day!!!

Well...this episode of Trigun is almost over, I better start to get ready for class. One of these days I really have to get the next volume of the DVDs.

I had a reason in mind for buying this. Really, I did! Now I just sit and look at it and laugh and laugh and laugh. I can't bear to take him out of his package.

I'll try to visit as many sites as I can before my brain gives out. It's still Monday night for me. My Outlook 2000 class was fun. I had the same instructor that I had for HTML. He was tired...and things got a bit silly. Next week when I have class all week, I'll have him for those classes as well. Should be fun.

   Supper break....Mmmm.... Sam & Louie's NY Style Pizza is better than Blimpies!

Well. HTML class got out at 3:00 so I got a nice long supper break. So I went to Westroads just to confirm why I don't really care for that mall. It's too big & usually is a zoo on Saturdays, but today is Monday, so it wasn't all that bad. I did take a survey and earned $3 (w00t!), which was promptly spent on some foolish thing elsewhere in the mall. I won't tell you now what it is, but will say this. It will be pictured on this site at some time in the future.

I did actually learn some useful stuff in the HTML class. I can't wait to actually try some of it out now. If I can get a certain site builder to cooperate, I will be very happy.

Well...I guess I'm gonna leave for now. Gotta get psyched up (or out?) for the Outlook 2000 Level 2 class. *forced enthusiasm* Whee.

   Lunch break! Mmmm....Blimpie's is yummy!

It's 12:42 pm (CDT) and I'm on lunch break. So far the day has been fairly decent. I'm actually learning things in this class. Things that I can use! HTML is such fun. I don't know how much I will use tonight's class. I still hate Outlook. XD

   Scary encounter at the Goodwill Store.

It was one of those afternoons where boredom was threatening me again. I had just finished watching "Men in Black" and decided to get out of the apartment. I headed to the gas station to fill up Neo, then off to the Goodwill Store to see what interesting things I could find. I found lots of interesting things, but was seriously scared by several plastic clown heads nailed to blocks of wood! These heads were about 4 inches high and really scary looking. I was so disturbed by them I had to move away from them quickly. Otherwise my overactive imagination would have taken over and I would have been removed from the premises and told not to return.

Then I went to the mall and bought a dish of ice cream. Then to KMart because I hadn't been there for a while. I haven't missed much by not going there for a while. However I did see YuYu Hakusho action figures. They had Hiei, Yusuke & Kuwabara in small ones and a big green Hiei. The small ones were cool looking, but the big one kinda freaked me out. Too soon after the clowns.

Well. I will apologize in advance if I don't get to visit sites tomorrow at all. I have class from 9 am to 9 pm! Should be interesting. HTML from 9 to 5 & Outlook 2000 Level 2 from 6 to 9. I hope I have a better instructor for the Outlook class.

Oh yeah....I broke 900 hits! I'm too tired to party tonight.

So. Now I'm watching Toonami. Megas XLR is on. I watch it only 'cause it's on before YuYu Hakusho. Tonight it is rather silly. They're really sticking it to anime with the "Ultra-Chicks." I'm actually enjoying this episode. I must admit that Teen Titans was rather silly tonight, too.
