   One of these days...

...I'll get my timing right.

Even with stopping at my sister's house to give her the mail and some newspapers, I still ended up over here for class way earlier than I intended to. *sigh*

This class should be fun. I get to spend three hours tonight learning more about a program I just don't really care for! Ya! If you're wondering, it's Outlook 2000. I don't know why, but I've just never been impressed with either it or Outlook Express. Oh well, the things I gotta do to get my certificates.

Oh, before I forget yet again, I passed the 100 mark in my guestbook at long last! w00t! Yay me! And Yay hieikillua for being #100 on the hit parade. *dances the dance of insanity for being so hyped up about 100 guestbook entries*

A little procrastination is not a good thing.

I'm supposed to be reviewing for my test on Friday. I'm not doing it. Can't concentrate.

+_+_+_+_+

I've got class tonight. Whee. Three hours of learning about Outlook 2000. Double whee. I just hope I feel better by then. I am slightly tired and my stomach hurts a bit. Leg still feels a bit wonky, but if I stay lying on the floor here, I won't stress it out too much.

Wednesday's HTML class has been postponed to next Monday. It's both a good thing and a bad thing. Bad 'cause I wanted it on Wednesday and 'cause I have an evening class next Monday as well. Good 'cause it'll give me an extra day to review.

+_+_+_+_+

I found this in a book on the cartoon strip Peanuts. It's from an interview with Charles Schultz, and I think it's something we all can relate to.

"Well, I draw for myself, which is who I think we all draw for. We draw for ourselves and hope that people like it."

Good sentiment. I agree.

+_+_+_+_+

Oh. I think I've figured out exactly why Vash has that menacing look up in my avatar. Sure, the fact that he's been accused of murder and is expecting a heap of trouble from the Gung Ho Guns and his brother Knives, but the real thing is.... there are no donuts in that jail cell!!! What kind of cops don't have donuts? That's just unnatural!

+_+_+_+_+

Oh... I better go now. My head is spinning somewhat. That may be because of the song on the radio... "Underwear Goes Inside the Pants" by LazyBoy. How odd. I may be back after class to check sites.

Again....the world is full of stupid people.

I went to the mall this afternoon after my library run. Now, in Council Bluffs there are a lot of streets where there is an extra lane in the middle of the street for left turns. One of these streets runs by the mall and continues up to my apartment complex. Well, as I was returning home, I was on this street. There's a stop light on one corner and it was red. Well, at this spot the only way to turn is to the right. If you were to go left, you would be turning into driveways. I was about 5th in line at the light and this big SUV comes speeding up the left lane. I thought it was someone that lived in one of the houses to the left. NO!!! As I went by him, he had his RIGHT turn signal going. And yes, he did make a right turn from the left turn lane!!!! I had to laugh at the baka SUV driver!

+_+_+_+_+_+

Well. My leg still hurts somewhat. If it doesn't get better soon, I don't know what I'll do. I don't have any health insurance again. Man this country really sucks when it comes to affordable healthcare sometimes.

Plus, I have class three days in a row this week! Woohoo! Evening classes on Monday & Tuesday (blargh), and a day class on Wednesday (HTML! w00t!). Then on Friday, I take a test for one of my certificates (eeeeek!).

Well, I think it's time to run around now.

I can hide small dogs in my sleeve!

Okay...further explanation of the comment about the library computers and Saturdays. I was referring to the people there. A couple of white trash people were talking really loud & sort of disgusting.

+_+_+_+_+

Submitted 3 pieces of art a bit ago. Don't know if they're up yet.

+_+_+_+_+

Not much happened today. Went to CompUSA to price computers. Got overwhelmed by the store. Did find a book for my art program! Later at the library I pulled a muscle in my calf. It's very uncomfortable to walk now.

   I should know better...

...than to use the baka library computers on a Saturday.

The world is full of stupid people...

Today/Friday in Wal-Mart I found the YuYu Hakusho game for my Gameboy for cheap. Some guy tried to tell me that it is a spin off of Yu-Gi-Oh! I politely told him that it's completely separate and done by a completely different person. I really should have laughed in his face, but I'm too nice.

+_+_+_+_+

That was the extent of the excitement for my life today/Friday. I got a new puzzle to agonize over on the other site. I looked at it for a while and then decided to give up for the night.

I did have to check on the critters over at my sister's house while she's gone. I was worried that their dog was missing, 'cause she wasn't in the pen in the back yard. I called my sister at where she's staying and asked her about it. They took the dog to the vet for the weekend. Yay! I don't have to worry about the puppy now. It's a big puppy! When she stands on her hind legs, she can look my brother in the eye! A Saint Bernard!

He's so cute!

   My turn to be bored.

Class was somewhat boring today. I think it may have been partially due to the fact that I was really tired.

+_+_+_+_+_+

When I was at my parents' house the weekend before last, we went up to the attic to look for some stuff. I found my journal from when I was in high school. I read the thing the other night. Oh man... I had some issues then! It went from right before I turned 16 in 1981 to sometime in 1986 when I was in college. Topics that stand out in my mind from high school: boyfriend issues and issues with my friends. I also found a poem I wrote in high school. I will not post it here. It's awful. Horrible. Just thinking about it makes me cringe. I can't write poetry... no, I think it would be better stated as I should not, under any circumstances, be allowed to write any poetry except Haiku! The main things that stick in my mind from college are the issues I had with roommates. My first two roommates were not the greatest people to live with. Maybe I wasn't that great to live with either, but by now, I really don't care anymore about them. I'm not in contact with any of the people involved in many of the entries. Well, that's not entirely true. Steve, my best bud, is mentioned in a couple of the entries. He's the only one from high school or college (that one anyways) that I still have any contact with.

All in all, I must admit that I really have changed since then. There are still parts of my psyche that are the same, however, but a lot of my outlook on life has changed in 23 years.

+_+_+_+_+_+

Well... this turned into a slightly introspective post. So to thank you for reading it and listening to an old lady reminisce about days gone by, I reward you with this:

   Wheeeeee!!!!

I got to spend the afternoon with my best bud & his wife! They're over on the east end of Nebraska instead of out in the west end. Yay!!! Susan looks great and is rather pregnant. Steve is still the same old Steve I've known for 21 years. We went over to the Old Market and ran around there for a while. Ate at Zio's Pizza.....*drool* *drool* Then we came back over here to my apartment and had ice cream. Yummy! They left around 7 pm. They'll be heading to St. Louis tomorrow. I was so happy to see them! It was a year since I last saw them. Happy happy happy!!!

+_+_+_+_+_+

Was my animation of Kaoru smacking Kenshin really that harsh? I'm sorry. I just thought it was funny. Is this better?

Messing with stuff in the wee hours of the morning.

I got tired of the movie quotes, so I'm dumping them for now. I put the links to my sites up there for now.

Photobucket is having issues with my stuff right now. I can't even get the log in page to come up. *sigh*

So... I leave you with this sentiment:

   I feel so ..... something.

Well. Another day of not much. Only three hours of South Park today. Now I'm through all of the tapes my sister gave me. *sigh*

+_+_+_+_+_+

Also....thanks go out to Original J. He drew me a picture. I'm not going to spoil the surprise, because he's gonna post it on his site this weekend. I'm really honored.
+_+_+_+_+_+

Speaking of pictures. I have finished another picture and also have done a couple chibis. I now just need to get to a scanner! Probably over at my sister's house. Hers is closer and isn't possessed by demons like my parents' scanner is!

+_+_+_+_+_+

Well. Time to run around like a maniac again.
