Anyhoo...I made it up to my parents' house with no problems. It was a nice drive. Not too many maniacs loose on the interstate. Got here about 1:30 in the afternoon. Just in time to go to the flower shop/coffee shop with my parents and have a cup of joe! Yumm! Picked on the cat the rest of the afternoon. I like my fat cat! Then watched TV all evening. And here I am.

Tomorrow afternoon/evening, I'll be helping set up the Siouxland Gem and Mineralogical Society show. If you've read my vitals over there to the left, you'll see that I have a couple degrees. One of them is in Earth Science. I love geology! I like looking at rocks & stuff like that. If I wasn't working on the web design stuff, I'd probably be figuring out how to get into paleontology. Cool, huh? I don't know if I'll be around at all tomorrow. Depends on when we get done with setup.

Last night was the first part of the episodes with the Peach Man on InuYasha. Tonight it's the one with the fake water god. I went to check the schedule on the AdultSwim site and there's nothing there! Why am I not surprised?

   Well... I think he's going to behave himself now.

I did my afternoon runaround today and Kohaku was behaving himself. No sword, leaf or staff in his grasp. I think that talk we had last night did some good.... for now, anyways.

It's officially Autumn now. I hope that means that the lady downstairs may eventually turn off her a/c. It was so nice out yesterday, but she ran the damn thing all day and all night. I really want to take a fork to that thermostat.

Well, between that a/c and the stuffiness of my room at 3:30 in the morning, I didn't get a lot of sleep from then until around 5:00. Then there was the lawnmowing going on out in the courtyard between 9:00 and 10:00. So, in short, I didn't get out of bed a happy cheerful person today. I'm still a bit out of it.

Well, tomorrow I'm gonna be going up to my parents' place for a couple days. If I don't hit sites, don't take it personally.

   Should I be worried?

Okay... I introduced you all to Kohaku last night. I believe I also mentioned that his favorite show is InuYasha and that he wants to be just like him. I went to the library today and came back and found this! Where did he get that sword?!?!

   Such cuteness should not be allowed

This is Kohaku. He found me at the zoo last week. He's very soft and likes to watch TV. He thinks cartoons are fun. I should limit his TV watching, but who can resist a face like that? His favorite show is InuYasha. He thinks InuYasha is great & wants to be just like him when he grows up. I don't know what I'm gonna do with him.

   It's now Sunday....

...wheee!!!!!!!

Not really. I just realized that I am a pretty pathetic individual. I just hang out online, looking for something. Yet that something is nothing in particular. I should have a social life or something.

Okay... that paragraph came from somewhere way out there! I'm not really feeling all that depressed or anything.

Well, Inuyasha was good tonight. Wolf's Rain left me confused. Cowboy Bebop was funny. It's now time for Trigun! Yay! Vash!!!

Now if only I had a donut.

The commercial for the M-azing candy bar with the girl doing weird yoga contortions is too damn freaky!!!!
