   Wacko schedule

My schedule is all out of whack for a couple days. Today and tomorrow I have class in the evening. Then Thursday I don't have class, and Friday I have a day class again. This is really throwing a spanner in the works when it comes to doing stuff I usually do. So, if in the next couple days, I don't get to people's sites, don't be too upset.

I'll be starting up on your prize, Fallen, here in the next day or so. It's gonna take some time to get it just right. And since he asked, Nikorasu will be getting something too. Not as fancy as the first prize, but he'll get something.

   We have a winner!!!!

After careful deliberation, a winner has been chosen. It was done very scientifically. (I put the names in a hat and drew one out.) And the winner is....

Thanks to all that submitted names. It was fun. I'll have to do this again sometime.

And the prize? It's gonna be something pretty. Fallen will be getting a banner type thingy that will look like stained glass. Sort of like what I used to have up when I had my Shippo theme.

For fun, I did do a runner-up name. The runner-up was Vash, submitted by Nikorasu.

   I got books today!

I shouldn't have bought them, but I did! I talked my sister into going over to the Swanson Library to the book sale! Yay! I got a book with music of national anthems from around the world, a book with lots of pictures of Sean Bean (Boromir), another Japanese language learning book, and a book on Wayne Gretzky.

I don't know what we're going to do for Labor Day. Maybe go to Septemberfest. My nephew will want to ride stuff. My sister & I will want to look at stuff. Should be fun.

   Konnichiwa!

A rare visit by me during the daytime at home! I'm not at the library....yet.

Just a quick reminder that I am taking entries in my 'contest' through tonight. Just scroll down to the picture of the computer and think of a name for the thing. Winners will be announced on Monday...sometime. It's a holiday and I may run around like a maniac during the day. Septemberfest is going on in Omaha, ya know.

   Yay! The weekend is upon us!

Hey y'all! I hope you're all about to have a great weekend. It's a 'holiday' weekend here in the States. w00t!

Well, I survived the first level of the Access 2000 class. It took two days to go through the whole thing. Eek! A lot of information there! I just wish I had the software so I could play with it.

I'm getting some nice entries in the contest to name my computer. One of them almost made me scream. I'll PM the person that sent me that one and explain why I had such a negative reaction. I'm still thinking on the prize for this.

   Ooog... my head....

I'm still feeling that migraine from last night. No sparkler in the eyeball, but a slight headache that just won't quite go away. Also I had one of those nights where it was impossible to get to sleep and stay asleep once I got there. Blah. I should be good and tired tonight when it gets close to bedtime!

And yes, the "contest" is still forthcoming. I just have to decide what to do for a "prize." It's gotta be something better than a virtual quarter. Something unique to go with the uniqueness of my contest.

So....am I stringing you guys along?
