   With any luck....

....the SNAFU with my loan should be cleared up tomorrow. The check is supposed to be coming overnight shipping and I should get it tomorrow. I'm hoping it comes. This has been so stressful.

I actually learned stuff in class again today! I like it when I actually learn stuff.

   Oh blah...

I might just as well give up for the night. I'm a bit bummed out now. I guess the anger and hostility has turned to slight depression now.

I think the insane woman downstairs actually turned off her air conditioner today. Either that, or I have gotten used to the constant humming and vibrations in the floorboards that I haven't heard it or felt it at all today.

The water outage yesterday. There was an emergency in the building, so there was no warning. They had to shut it down quick.

Since I'm bummed out now, I'll visit you all tomorrow. I'll check both days.

   Somewhere, someone will feel my wrath!

Okay... I had to get a loan to go back to school. That loan includes some money for living expenses. Someone, somewhere, messed up the paperwork about a month ago and put the loan into the name of the person co-signing the loan with me. This was not discovered until late in the afternoon on the 30th of July. It took about a week to get all that straightened out. Their computers were down the beginning of last week. How convenient. Finally, last Friday all the paperwork got straightened out and was overnighted to the loan place so they could have it Monday morning. They're supposed to overnight the check to me. It's now Wednesday night and I still have no check. I called this morning to see what the status of the check is, and found out that the person that's been working on things is on vacation until the 16th! I left a message with her assistant. After 5:30 this afternoon/evening, I decided they weren't going to call back, so I went to the grocery store. Got back and there's a message on my machine! They left no information, of course, and are going to call back tomorrow. I have class all day tomorrow. This SNAFU has left me with a headache again, and the feeling that my weekend plans may just as well be thrown out the window.

This is what I had planned: leave after class to drive up to my parents' house so I can see my best friend and her family (who I haven't seen in 2 years), my best friend's mom (who I haven't seen in 6 years) and the Stanley Cup (which I've only seen on TV).

I'm also running the risk of having the phone cut off, the electricity cut off, and a ticket for driving around with expired license plates.

I want the person responsible to apologize profusely, complete with grovelling at my feet and licking my shoes! Either that, or their head on a platter.

   The way my morning started

I got up a bit before 10 this morning. (I did get some sleep after all that caffeine last night!) Was going about my usual morning routine. Got the water going for the shower and just got in... then the water pressure dropped. To absolutely nothing! All of a sudden I had no water at all!!!! Luckily I had not put any shampoo or anything in my hair yet. I called the apartment office to see if they were doing anything, but no one was there. If they were doing some work in the building, they never warned me. Usually they leave a note outside the door if they're doing anything, but I never saw a note. I did manage to get the shower in after lunch around 1:00.

   The lady downstairs is insane.

It's really really nice outside and she's running her air conditioner constantly!!!! It's about 61 degrees Fahrenheit out there!!! I figure it's gotta be about 40 degrees in her apartment.

Well. The picture is up. I am working on making a website that will show you all some of what was involved in the making of that picture. Once you see how I did it, you'll understand why it took around 10 hours to complete.

   Finished at last!

About 5 minutes ago, I finally finished my picture! It took very nearly 10 hours total to do this picture. It has been submitted, so we'll see how quick it gets posted.

Now to bed to see if I can sleep. I don't know if I'll get to sleep right away.... I had a bottle of frappucino a while ago. Major caffeine intake!

   Oh... what to do... what to do. I don't wanna!

My nephew sort of invited me to see the Yu-Gi-Oh movie when it's in the regular theaters. Evidentally the showing he saw the other day was a sneak preview. Okay...I'm not a big Yu-Gi-Oh fan at all. I do read it in Shonen Jump & that's about it. Then he told me the reason he wants me to go with them to see it.... he wants the special card they get at the theater! He wants to get all four of them and wants me along to increase the odds of him getting one. My sister rolled her eyes and grimaced at the thought of having to see it again. So...I don't know... I'll burn that bridge when I get there.

   I learned stuff today!!!

I had my second class today. Today's was "Introduction to Networks and the Internet." When I saw that I had to take that class I kinda rolled my eyes... I've been online for around 8 years now. But I did actually learn some stuff that I didn't know! How cool is that?

Well, I'm still not done with my picture. Since I found out I don't have class Tuesday or Wednesday, it may actually get done!

Now time to run around checking sites!

   Messing with my nephew's mind

Burger King has Yu-Gi-Oh stuff in their kids' meals now. When my sister and nephew and I went to the mall today, we had lunch. Nick wanted a meatless cheeseburger along with the piece of pizza, so when my sister got the "burger" she bought one of the Yu-Gi-Oh things for him. It's got a pyramid puzzle thing in it and he was taking it apart. When he was looking at my sister for something, I reached across the table and grabbed a piece of it. I handed it to my sister and she put it on her tray and put something over it. Nick started to freak a bit. I said what I really needed to do to it was throw it in a swimming pool. Nick goes, "Hey, you're not Joey!" Of course we were all laughing. I did give it back to him eventually.
