   What a night!

Massive thunderstorms went through last night. I was without power for 3 hours! Will give more updates later this evening. I'm killing time during lunch break at my Word 2000 class. Wheeee!

   Hyperactivity at McDonalds & other nonsense

I mentioned earlier that I went to McDonalds with my sister for a second dinner....we had fun. The workers weren't paying much attention, though. They messed up my nephew's meatless cheeseburger. He had bun with only ketchup & mustard! Had to get the cheese added. Anyways... we usually sit at the counter thing they have at our McDs. I couldn't sit still! If the chair could spin all the way around, I would have been doing it. Then one of the teacher's assistants from my nephew's school walked by. He recognized her, but couldn't remember her name, so he yelled out, "Hey!! It's whats-her-name!" Of course that got us all laughing... even "whats-her-name"! After that we went to the grocery store and bought stuff.

Has anyone here seen "Crusher Joe: the Movie"? It's anime. It's old anime...from the 1980s. It's also rather silly. The best part was the fight in the disco. I was wondering if it was from a series or something.

I'm watching InuYasha right now. The River Goddess is neat! She's tiny! And the two little watersprites that looked like koi were cute.

   I took a big step today.

I actually left my apartment building today!

I had just finished up a small dinner and my sister showed up to take me to McDonalds! Yay! I ended up with a cheeseburger Happy Meal on top of the food I had already eaten! I'm not having any popcorn tonight. I got a Hamburglar Beanie Baby bear! Yay!! Again.

Will probably write more later, but I wanted this to show up for today.

   What a nothing weekend.

Yep. I did absolutely nothing this weekend except watch TV and play on the computers.

Yesterday I messed around with the old desktop. Can't do a defrag on that one, either. Well, it is old and running windows 95. Eek!

Today, I spent a lot of time on the laptop entering more hockey cards into my spreadsheet. I have almost completed the letter M. M through Z will involve well over 6000 cards. I still have the rest of the beginning of the alphabet to go. Eek again!

I think I may go offline now. And it isn't even 10 pm yet! What is this world coming to?

Yet another in a never-ending series of days that were so dull that nothing happened.

I did manage to sleep almost to 11:00 again this morning. I hope I can get my sleep schedule back to something a little more normal. I am a little tired right now, but I still think I'll be able to make it all the way through Trigun tonight.

   Now it really is Saturday

It's shortly after 3:00 a.m. and I am still wide awake. I had given up on things about 12:30 and went back to bed. Ended up playing Golden Sun 2 on my Gameboy until about 2:00, then turned out the light. AND LAY THERE WIDE AWAKE!!!!!! I finally surrendered and got out of bed. I may as well do something instead of just rolling about my futon. So, here I am. My sleep schedule is gonna be so screwed up.

Okay...who was it that went to Comic-con? I got a phone call from my brother yesterday evening, saying he just left the #1 comic book shop in the world! My favorite comic book shop got the award this year for best shop in the world! Yep, Acme Comics in Sioux City Iowa is top shop this year! They took second place a couple years ago and were thrilled to get that award. I'm so excited for them. I hardly ever go there any more because of it being about 100 miles away from me, but I do miss that shop. I took my Mom there to pick up my prize from the party they had when they won 2nd place. Mom was so fascinated by the place! She said we had to get Dad in there so he could see it. I actually find it better than the shops I've found down here in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area.

Ah well, let's see how far I get into my Trigun DVD before I start to fall asleep.

   Jeff Corwin is great!

I just watched the Jeff Corwin Experience on Animal Planet. It was an episode of his favorite encounters. The last bit was a bunch of clips of him making lots of animal noises and cracking people around him up! It was so funny! Even when he "ate" the giant cockroach. The look on his face was so convincing as he was eating something, but making it look like he ate the roach!

Hey.... there's some sort of anime on Cartoon Network now. Got to find out what it is.... please hold while I check out the listings on another site.... okay... it's .Hack/Legend of the Twilight Bracelet. I probably won't watch it. I don't know what's going on. And I'm tired.
