   Sorry to keep you all waiting like this...

....but the actual final results of that phone call this afternoon will be determined tomorrow sometime. I will, however, give you this much of a hint: it involves putting myself in debt, it involves learning new things, it involves the potential of a job that will pay me something I can live on.

I did it again. Went to B&N and sat there with my sketchbook working on part of my assignment while referring to a book that I don't own and can't afford to buy. Then I went back to the manga section and read part of Trigun Maximum. Dang, I wish I had money to buy things.

   9 minutes and counting...

Well... I'm at the library again. Today I make the phone call that could change my life for the better, or leave me wallowing in despair. Hopefully it will be the first one and not the second one.

Anyways....last night I actually drew!!!! Six head shots of Vash! OMG! Will wonders never cease?!?! I just have 2 to go for that assignment that I've been dragging my feet doing. I will also consider submitting them here.

Hmm... 7 minutes left on the baka computer here. Better post & run. Will be back tonight with results of phone call.

   Another day of not much.

Well.. I spent the day doing as little as possible. Went with my sister to her eye doctor appointment. While we were waiting, the power went out. She was about to reschedule the appointment, and it came back on. Then we went to the mall for lunch and a wander around. Then to the grocery store for ice cream, which we both wanted last night, and back to my apartment to have some of it. Then I read a book and had supper. Now I'm online and watching movies again. What a thrilling day, eh?

I don't know about getting that chibi Vash submitted...I don't have a scanner. I'd have to go to the sister's house and that can be a scary prospect sometimes. I'll consider it.

Also...I may have some interesting news tomorrow. I gotta talk to someone first. There may be some changes in store! For me...not the site.

   the Punisher vs. the Punisher

Okay...while killing time between appointments today, I stopped at SunCoast in Westroads. (I hate that mall - long story... and it's out of the way to get there) Anyhoo... I stopped into SunCoast Video. Checked out the anime stuff. There's an adorable plush Vash. I want it. I'm seriously broke. Can't buy it. Bummer. So I asked when the DVD for the Punisher movie is coming out. Guy says, "New one?" Yeah. "September 7th." Cool!!!!

So what is this to the subject? I have to admit that I already own the widescreen version of the original Punisher!!!! Yes, with Dolph Lundgren. I love that movie. It's sooooo bad! But the new version has a really good looking guy in the lead role. However one of the best exchanges of dialogue come from the first movie:

Jake: What the fuck do you call 125 murders in 5 years?
The Punisher: Work in progress.

But the guy in the new version is such a hunk. *sigh*

   Squirrels are so funny sometimes.

A squirrel just came up to my balcony window and looked in at me. It's so cute. Then it went over by the railing and lay down. It was laying there like InuYasha after a series of "Sit" commands from Kagome! So cute!
