And it's looking like it may become thunderstormy again. Yesterday it didn't actually get to that point. Yay!

Well, I'm gonna check the weather online real quick and then maybe run to the store for a bottle of Brain Juice (that's Coca-Cola for those keeping score at home).

   Happy Birthday to me!!!

Yeah. It's my birthday. OMG I'm 39!!!!! Yes I'm that old. ;)

Well, went to see "Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban" today. It was good. Very satisfying in a visual sense. I had wished there would have been more of Sirius in it, but then I remember that he doesn't really show up that much in the book! This one is by far my favorite of the books and it may become the same for the movies.

I check things out on the Internet Movie Database every so often... they're planning movies of the 4th & 5th books. Now seeing as they are both humongous books, I want to know how much they plan on leaving out to be able to get them into a movie that people can sit through. It should be interesting to see if they ever hit the silver screen.

Speaking of books... I asked my local B&N when the 6th Harry Potter book is coming out. It was so nice to be on the giving end of that question for once! I was on the receiving end for books 2 through 5!

Well...I'm off to run around some more. Hopefully the weather will cooperate tonight and I won't have to get offline because of thunderstorms. Laters!

   The things I do....

...when I'm watching movies. I've got about an hour left in my Harry Potter movie watching. I started these up around 4 hours ago! Wow! I can't wait until tomorrow!!!

So... I've been watching movies and playing around in different quiz sites. What a silly way to kill some time! I've found out what type of lunatic I am, what color I am, what NHL team I am, and what Windows Operating System I am. Fun!!! See the Quiz Results page for the latest results.

   This is the night to mentally prepare myself

Okay, I'll admit it up front here. I am a "Harry Potter geek." It's out in the open. Now I can talk freely.

Tonight I am going to watch both of my "Harry Potter" DVDs in preparation for going to the third movie tomorrow. Why tomorrow? Why am I not going on the day it opens? Well, I'll tell you. The answers follow:

1. It's the opening day! The only movie I recall seeing on the day it opened was the original "Men In Black." Still a favorite movie of mine. There's going to be too many people there.

2. Tonight is the only night I can set aside to watch the first two movies and not worry about them interfering with Adult Swim & Trigun! Especially Trigun!

3. It's my birthday tomorrow! I had to wait a year and a half since the last one. They were nice enough to release it the day before my birthday, so I am treating myself to a movie! Even though I am so broke I shouldn't go. But I'm not dwelling on that part!

And on that note. This stupid library computer is close to telling me it's time to leave. So I better! Laters, y'all!

   Okay... I remember now

I remember now what it was that I was going to post earlier today. I was going to go on a rant! It's been ages since I've had a good rant. So here goes....

1. I am slowly being driven MAD by the person downstairs. She is running her air conditioner constantly and it's making my apartment vibrate! It's gotta be about 40 degrees in there because of how much it runs. It also makes my apartment reverberate with a low hum... that also makes things in the cupboards vibrate. It's worse in my bedroom because that's close to where the a/c unit is.... and because I have a futon instead of a real bed, so I'm about a foot closer to the floor than if I had a real bed. AAARRRGGGGHHH!!!!!

2. Construction is really starting to cheese me off. I forgot that the city was ripping up the one street leading to the library... so it was bump, bump, bump on the way there. And there were no construction workers in sight! Then I decided to go to the mall. More construction on a different street! I shouldn't complain too much. The one street really needed to be smoothed out. I'm always afraid the glass of my sunroof is going to crack when I hit bumps too hard.

There may have been more that I was going to rant about, but I seem to have forgotten. I guess that's what happens when you get old. *sigh*

   A race against time...

I'm sitting in the library trying to remember what it was I was going to post today! Argh! Can't remember. This library has timers on their computers...and there's only about 7 minutes left. Oops! Make that 6 minutes. I hope I can get this post in before the computer decides to slow down again! And maybe by the time I get home, I'll remember what I was going to say!

   Much better today.

I had a better day today. Didn't ride a wave of depression like yesterday. I think it may have been the latte. Haven't had one in a long time. The caffeine got me going.

I just watched an "old" movie. I finally got to see "A Knight's Tale" with Heath Ledger. Wow. What a fun movie! It's definitely going on my DVD want list!

Now it's time to run around like a maniac! Woohoo!!!!!

   What a day.

Not a good day today. It was enough for me to get my comfort food: Welch's Grape Soda & puffy Cheetohs. Why is that comfort food to me? Thinking about it makes me realize that it really is a horrible combination of flavors. I am almost finished with the grape soda. Had the Cheetohs with dinner. Ooooh....big thrill. A sandwich, some carrots & Cheetohs.

*sigh*

I should find something a little more creative to do with myself than sit here. But that would involve using my brain. Not gonna happen.

It's getting close to the time I should be going to bed. But I don't want to!!!!! It isn't going to happen soon.

I just played around Quizilla for a while. Found a couple fun ones, but had to wade through a bunch that didn't look fun at all. Oh well.....
