   Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes (Turn and face the strain)

Well, after giving it considerable thought, I have come to a decision about something. It may not seem like a major thing to many of you, but I think it's something that merits attention.

As some of you know, I do some writing. I have been working at a story for the past few years, and have been posting parts of it in my blog on MyOtaku.

Well, I have decided to move it to the Worlds section over on Version Vibrant. I will put a link in my posts here and the other two places I post this as I get a section posted in the Library. I am also seriously considering starting from the beginning on the story. That way I can have all of it in one place. I will still be posting newer parts (eventually) on my main website. ... When I get the ambition to do that again.

   News flash: this is an actual original post and not a copy of dA postings.

Sorry about the last two posts. I just didn't want to do anything at all. Last week wasn't fun at all. Let's see if I can remember what all was going on with me, okay?

Sunday: day off. Pretty much lazed about, goofed off with my brother and then watched a couple movies while finishing off my bracelet and making another one.

Monday: another day off. Did laundry. That's about all I can remember.

Tuesday: back to work. It sucked. It was very busy. I had to put up with the little psycho as usual. I really wish I could either find another job or he would find another job. It's bad when I dread coming to work because of him.

Wednesday: work. Another sucky busy night. Psycho again. Really. Why is it that I seem to be the only one that has to work with this idiot? I don't like him. Nobody likes him. I'm sick of it. Honestly.

Thursday: day off. Didn't do a damn thing all day. I read the new Trinity Blood novel that I picked up Tuesday. Then I watched anime. All day long. Got through most of my Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs.

Friday: work again. Dead for a Friday. Finally read my email, which I hadn't checked since Tuesday!!!

Saturday: right now. I'm at work. It's really dead for a Saturday. I'm actually through all of my email and have been sitting here typing this for a little while. And it's just past 5:00 pm!!!! I still have 6 hours to go before my shift is over. Arrgh!

So... that's pretty much the week I had. The weather is wacko right now. It snowed. Yeah. We're almost halfway through April and it snowed. However, it didn't last very long at all. And I'm incredibly happy that I don't live in the places that got around a foot of the stuff. Well, better boogie...

Yep. It's that time of year again! Time for.... the NHL Playoffs!!!!

Yes. I am almost completely certifiable when it comes to hockey in the first place. I admit it, I can get so wound up watching games on TV that I chew on pillows. I have screamed loud enough at games to end up taking almost three weeks for my voice to return properly. I try hard not to do that any more.

I have a notebook at home that has all the scores from every playoff game starting with the 1991-1992 season.

I'm such a pathetic person....

   Aieeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's Sunday night. I had the day off. Hooray!!! After the weekend at work, I needed it. Here's a recap:

Friday: felt like crap. Didn't sleep well the night before and it showed. I had to be to work an hour earlier than usual and the manager even commented that I didn't look happy when I walked into the building. It was also going to be a very busy night. Thankfully, one of the other desk people was able to come in and help out. I really didn't feel like facing a busy night by myself. I left early so she could have the extra hours and because I really didn't feel all that good.

Saturday: didn't feel like crap. Slept a little better. It was still incredibly busy at work. The lobby was filled with people trying to check in when I got there. We had a huge wedding party in the hotel. Really huge. And of course, it was a nice day outside, so the rooms were all hot and the air conditioning wasn't working properly in all rooms. Almost ran screaming from the building at the end of the shift. Almost.

Sunday: day off. Slept until 10:30! I think I needed the sleep. Spent the day pretty leisurely. Didn't do laundry, even though I contemplated it. Took a good walk around town with my brother. Then we talked for a while after lunch. He then went to get some sleep before work. (He works 11:00 pm to 7:00 am!) So while he slept, I watched a couple movies and finished my bracelet at last!!! I even made another bracelet today. It was just a quick little beaded bracelet. I have pictures of them up on deviantArt.

So... that's about it for me tonight. I don't know what I'll be doing when I do laundry tomorrow. Maybe do some work on my Japanese!!!!

   Well... I'm back.

I took a couple days away from sites for a couple reasons:

1. Tuesday sucked big time at work!!! I had to deal with a full house and the winner of the Jerk of the Night Award. I'm trying very hard to put the guy behind me, so I won't go into details. But suffice it to say, I was incredibly happy to have Wednesday and Thursday off.

2. Wednesday night was the last home game of the season for the local hockey team. I had to go. It's tradition. I go to the home opener & the home closer. I have to. I think by now most of you know that I'm a hockey nut. And to sum it up: We won in overtime! But it was also somewhat of a sad occasion, as our coach resigned the other day and will leave at the end of the playoffs. I think the guys have a big incentive to go as far as possible in the playoffs now. This was the coach's 8th season with the Musketeers!

Well, Thursday is coming to a close. I'll have to return to work Friday and really don't want to. I truly depsise that place anymore.

That's about it.... dang... still haven't finished my bracelet.

   Another grey day.... *sigh*

It's wet outside. It's supposed to be wet all week. Bummer. I just hope it stays as rain and doesn't decide to turn into ice and/or snow on us. That would suck big time.

Sunday was pretty dull. My cold kicked in and I was getting a headache from the coughing. I wonder how much of today's "bleh" feeling is from the cold and how much is from the weather.

So now I sit here behind the desk at motel-hell and become bored. Meh. Maybe I'll try falling off my chair just for something to do.

Weekend is over....finally!

Well, it's Sunday evening. I've got the day off. Hooray! The weekend wasn't fun at all. Very busy at work and having to deal with the little psycho as usual. I just wasn't enjoying any of it.

It's kind of bleh outside right now. It's been grey and cloudy. The weather pundits say snow is supposed to happen. I don't want more snow. I want to go to a hockey game this week. The last home game is Wednesday night. I have to be there. It's tradition!!!

Hmm...sorry for not updating all weekend, but it just wasn't possible the way work went.

I seem to be rambling. Guess I don't have much of interest to say here. Oh well...

   NO! That's not what I meant!

I said the other day that I'm sick of everything being brown and dirty looking outside. Well, it's not brown out there now... It's white again!!!!

I wanted green, not white!!!

Arrrgh! Stupid snow! I had to shove about three inches of the stuff off my car to be able to drive the dumb thing to work.

Okay... that's enough. I think I'll go wander off now and find something else to do.
