   And now for something completely different....

Well, I suppose I should explain yesterday's post. I was at work and it was incredibly busy. There was a big concert down the road from us, so we were full! Most of the guests were post-teenagers attending the concert. Who was playing? I hear you ask. It was Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin and Seether. It was also sold out.

The other thing at work that made me feel like falling over was the idiot who had his shorts all in a bunch because his cell phone charger was inadvertantly removed from his room when it was cleaned. He was a complete ass about the whole thing, even though we did eventually find the stupid charger and returned it to him. I was ready to slap the guy for being such a jerk.

I ended up with today off instead of tomorrow. I went to SUX and did some running around to places where I like to go. I also spent more money than I probably should have. Bought some jewelry making supplies, another game for my DS, and a magazine. I also had a Blizzard at Dairy Queen as a late lunch.

Well, that's about it for me. My cold is acting up today. Too much cigarette smoke from the bar at work last night didn't help at all. *grumble*

   Some progress has been made...

...on my bracelet! I got the links all done today and a little over half of the beads put on it. I probably could have finished it, but my fingers were starting to ache. Depending on how quickly I get going in the morning tomorrow, I may get it finished. Don't hold your breath waiting for it.

Otherwise, my Monday off was spent pretty lazily. I did laundry. I swept the floors upstairs. That's about it.

Now I'm sitting here listening to the television and hoping that the internet connection doesn't drop out on me again. It's done it a few times since I started it all up about two hours ago. *sigh* I really should try calling tech support about it. But not right now...

   7.0 Megapixels of... DOOM!!!!!

Someone asked what the megapixel rating of my new camera is. There's your answer. I got a 2 GB memory stick for it right away and was looking in the manual as to how many pictures I can get on the thing. Here's what I discovered: If I set the camera to VGA, which is for email, and to "Standard" quality, I can get something like 19661 pictures onto the memory card! That's a gen-you-whine buttload of pictures! I don't think I could possibly take that many pictures in my life!

Well, it's Easter Sunday. I hope everyone is having a pretty decent day. I don't have to work. Hooray! I also have tomorrow off. I am so happy that I don't have to be there. Friday was a fairly bad day for me at work. I didn't feel good, and the little psycho really got on my nerves. I left a page & a half hand-written note for the manager about what happened with him. Unfortunately, I feel that if she talks to him about what his duties are and aren't, it's not going to sink in. He's going to get it into his head that he's the exception to everything and can do what he pleases. I really am to the point that I dread going to work because of him. Sad, isn't it?

It's just 7:00 pm now. I've gone through my email, fighting with the connection the whole time! Stupid wireless capability of our DSL modem keeps wacking out. I think I got dropped 5 times in as many minutes when I started up the email reading. It's been behaving itself for the past hour or so. I restarted both the laptop and the desktop computers!

Ah, that's about it for me today. Time to go post this on the three spots.

That's how I'm feeling today. It's cloudy outside. It's cloudy in my head, too. I'm at work. I wish I could be at home enjoying the company of my cats.... even if one of them is a furry little menace to society.

Well, a decision has been made. I am keeping my blog here at MyOtaku. But... I am also going to duplicate the posts over in the Worlds section as well as on Spaces over at MSN.

As for what's going on in my life right now... Not much. I got a nice bonus at work the other day and it was combined with the contents of my piggy bank. Together they ended up enought to get a Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera. I'm still experimenting with it, but so far, I'm very impressed by the pictures.

So that's about it for me on a Thursday afternoon with no work. w00t for days off!

   Still alive....

But barely... It's Saturday. I have three more days of work before a day off. The wrestlers are pretty much out of here today, but a high school choir is coming in. Yikes! Tuesday is looking really good from here.

I wish my ear would stop hurting. The sore throat is tolerable, but the ear. Uh-uh. Yow!

Well, hopefully my brother will be here shortly and we will run around a bit before I must return to work.
