   A certain warm place just froze over!!!!

Yes, after a several month period of nothing coming out of my pencil, a drawing has been made! It's still just a sketch at this point, but it's something!

   Trick or Treat!!!

Yep. It's Halloween! I hope everyone has a great night and get lots of goodies.

I actually have the night off! Whee!!! No boredom for me tonight! Woohoo!!!! So, my brother & I will most likely be lounging around the living room, waiting for the doorbell to ring. Then we can give KitKats to the little rugrats and send them on their way. Or we can leave the lights off and eat all the KitKats ourselves! Ha!

Last night was so dead at work. I left my laptop at home and regretted it. The little psycho went off somewhere and watched TV for a little while a couple times. The only truly interesting thing that I came across was a website that had some completely different hotel pictured on the page about us. Really weird.

Well, I'm hanging out in the public library again so I can use the wireless. Whee! I have tomorrow off, too, and will probably come down after the laundry is done. It all depends on how quickly I get my butt in gear on the laundry.

   Oh... man....

I am fast approaching, if not surpassing, a state of incredible boredom. I'm at work and it's quiet. The little psycho will babble from time to time about how bored he is. I have shown great restraint by not strangling him on the spot.

Other than this place being down over the weekend, not much excitment went on here on the Edge of Sanity. Worked Friday, had off Saturday, worked Sunday. Didn't do a thing worth mentioning on Saturday at all. That's how dull my weekend was. Friday was supposed to be so incredibly busy at work... it was boring! At least it was until the cops showed up because of the fight at the wedding reception. And that was around 9 pm!

So... now I'm here and am downloading some stuff on the wireless. I should find something to do....

   Random thoughts on a Wednesday afternoon.

Just some things that come to mind...

• I don't have to work today! Hooray!


• I like hockey a lot, but I don't live in Canada. I was born in Minnesota, so that may have something to do with it.


• Doctor Who is the longest running science fiction television series. It first aired on November 23, 1963, and ran through 1996! It was never officially cancelled!


• I am a Whovian. Have been for years.


• My sinuses are killing me right now... well, not entirely. It only hurts when I move my eyes.


• I should probably go home and see if my brother is awake.


• But I'm having too much fun playing around on the library's wireless connection.


• Making lists is fun.


• I have tomorrow off from work, too. Whatever am I going to do? Probably the usual...laundry. *sigh*


• I'm really starting to waste time here...

   Good lord, you don't have to marinate in it!!!!!!!!

Warning: This is a bit of a rant.

I went to the hockey game last night. It was a good game. We won. However, one thing happened at the game that I have to talk about.... perfume use.

Okay. A bit of background information is needed here. Our team is in a developmental league made up of 16 to 20 year old players. Therefore, many of them are handsome young men that the local teenaged girls are trying to attract. Okay. That's normal. Girls will try to catch the eye of boys. Not a problem....

The problem is when the girls put on so much perfume that a cloud follows them where ever they go! That's what happened last night. It got so bad that my lungs shut down about halfway through the second period. My brother & I both had our eyes watering from it. We got up and walked around during the second intermission and tried our seats for a bit of the third period. We still couldn't breathe. We ended up standing at the top of the section for the rest of the game so we could breathe. After the game, we stopped at a convenience store to get some water to try to wash the taste of the perfume out of our mouths. It was nasty!

So.... here's a lesson for all you young ladies out there:
DO NOT SOAK YOURSELVES IN PERFUME!!!!!!!!!!

   The word of the day: Hypotrochoid!

Don't ask. I don't know what it means, either.

Well, it's still Thursday. It's still raining. I think it's been raining for the past three or four days. Most of it's been that annoying misty crap that doesn't clean off the windshield very easily. I'm just happy the temperature has been in the 50s and not in the 30s. If it had been the lower one, that mist would have been a coating of ice on everything.

Other than that... nothing is going on here. I read my email this afternoon while waiting for my car to be done. I had a fog light go out. My mechanic is across the street from the library. I went over there to wait. So, now it's 11:15 pm and I am almost ready to turn off the computer and try to do some drawing or something. *gasp*

   Grrrahhhrrr!

Hi there! I'm actually in a fairly decent mood... despite the fact that I've been awake for about 17 hours now! Wheee! The time is roughly 20 minutes to 1:00 in the morning and I got up around 7:45 am on Tuesday. I should be tired and in bed, but I'm not! Wheeee!!!!

I got up that early to be conscious to let the electrician in to put up the light fixture in the bathroom. I can safely say the bathroom is complete. It hasn't been quite 2 months since they started the remodel, but it's done at last. Now we have to do a good cleaning around the house to get things back to a reasonable facsimile of looking like a house. I think that I'll work at that next week sometime. Hahaha!!!

Well, my weekend was pretty weird. I worked Saturday. It was fairly busy, but I had another person there that knows which end is up when it comes to working the front desk, so it went pretty well. I was supposed to work Friday, but the weekend morning person missed both her days the previous weekend and wanted some hours, so she took my Friday. Sunday and Monday were days off. I didn't get anything of great importance accomplished on either day. That felt great. As for other things on Monday... well, read the second post for then and you'll understand. I ended up doing a virus scan and defrag on my laptop after getting nowhere on the dialup. Then I turned off the computer and didn't touch it the rest of the night.

So, now I'm playing around on the old desktop upstairs. I was sorta hoping to be able to do the McDonald's thing up here, but I need to update Macromedia Flash and I don't feel like doing that right now. It's too late to take that kind of time downloading. ...stupid dialup...

So, my plans for Wednesday are work. I may go into SUX early and buy a DVD. I found a $20 bill! It's begging to be blown in on a DVD. Can't you hear it? It's saying, "Buy Transformers! Buy Transformers!" I have never been so stoked for a DVD to come out as I have been for that one for the past week! Gaaaahh!!!!!

Well, I've wasted about 10 minutes on this now, so I think I will go and check something else out before I lose consciousness.
