   Owwww....

Well, I have no idea what I did, but my hip hurts. A lot.

So... here's the scoop of what was going on at the motel over the weekend: We had a wedding party, a high school reunion, a Lewis & Clark tour group, an office party and a birthday party! Then there was the extremely drunk guy on Friday night that was threatening to kill people! I don't think I want to go into detail on that one, except to say that he was removed from the premises and is no longer allowed in the place. It was a busy weekend, all right.

So here I sit... it's still Sunday for me. I'm lying and/or sitting on the floor with the laptop going. I'm watching Matlock of all things on the Hallmark Channel. There is absolutely nothing else of interest on TV at all and I don't feel like finding a DVD to watch. I'm also wondering if someone is going to get ahold of me tomorrow about painting the bathroom and kitchen wall. I would like to know so I can plan accordingly.

Well, that's about it for me. Oh, yeah. I did post a picture over on deviantArt the other day. I'm still not exactly happy with how the color of the wrap turned out.

   Duhhhh......

Still Thursday here. Was a day off.

Got up way too early to let the carpenters in. They surfaced the walls in the bathroom and kitchen and the kitchen ceiling. They even put the door back on the bathroom. Yay!!!

Did laundry and fell asleep while doing it. Otherwise I did little of importance today. I hung out and goofed off with my brother for most of the evening until he had to go to work. Now it's about 11:15 pm and I'm slowly doing stuff online while watching Daredevil. I haven't seen this movie since I saw it in the theater! It's a good movie. It was starting up on F/X and my brother brought his DVD down. I opted for the DVD 'cuz it has no commercials.

So... now I think it's time for me to wander off. Whee!

   Still tired & cranky.

Well, I'm still tired from having to get up 2 hours earlier than usual without the benefit of going to bed 2 hours earlier than usual. *sigh*

Today's crankiness has another cause. I won't go into too many details here, but it is something that has affected what I thought of one person. Something was said by this person about someone close to me. I just find it hard to believe that the first person would even think something about the second person. I have changed my entire view of the first person and I don't know how I'll ever face that person again. I can't avoid that first person because I deal with that person at work fairly regularly. Their statement made me so mad that I started to cry. I'm tearing up because of it right now. I think that reaction is partly because I'm so frickin' tired and feel mostly crappy. My allergies have been acting up, and therefore my asthma has been giving me grief, too. At least I don't have to go over to my sister's to shower anymore. Both she & my brother-in-law smoke, so the allergies and asthma are not helped by that at all.

KoInu kyan: "oji-san"?! Umm... uncle... Ummm.... I thought I was a girl-type person. O_o But thanks anyways. It sort of reminds me of the time my best bud described me as the brother he never had. If you knew his brother, you'd understand!! Wahahahaa!!!!

ShadowsCastByDusk: Hiring someone would involve money I don't have. *sigh* I suppose I'll just settle for showering when my brother is asleep and hope he doesn't decide he has to get up.

Mercury Dragon: Considering our bathroom is upstairs, I don't think I'll worry too much about random people entering the house. Unless the carpenter forgot something, then EEEEK!!!

Well, I have about an hour to kill before I have to go to work. I'm very happy that I don't have to work with that psycho tonight. Hmm... I just had a thought.... I've been online since about 11:30 this morning. It's now 2:00. Maybe work's been trying to get ahold of me to come to work at 3:00 and I'll have to work with the psycho. Well, that ain't gonna happen! They scream about overtime, and he'd end up with too much of it if he worked tonight. I'm just glad I don't have to put up with him for at least three days. I think I'd lose it if I had to work with him tonight.

I think I better go now. This post sure ended up a lot longer than I thought it would.

   Warning: I'm tired and cranky.

I had the question "Why always the psycho?" posted in a comment on yesterday's post. I think I can come up with a few answers.

1. Because I wronged someone in a previous life and am being punished for it now.
2. Nobody else will work with him. I don't even want to work with him.
3. The manager may be subconciously trying to get me to quit.

Well.... other reasons could be made, but I won't go into them. Too much like whining and complaining.

Hell... I'm tired enough to do that!

Oh yeah, the tub & shower are now hooked up and useable! Hooray! The only problem is... the door isn't on the bathroom! Whee....

   Meh... whatever...

It's Labor Day. Big whoop! I'm at work. Big surprise there... not!

So... I hope you all are having a lot more fun than I am. It's 5:40-ish. I have just over 5 hours left of my shift and already I am bored out of my skull! Unfortunately I'm working with the psycho and he'll remind me of how bored he is. EVERY 5 MINUTES!!!! Arrgh!!!

I suppose I could find something to eat. I'm starting to get hungry. My ravioli didn't last. *sigh* It's yogurt & bagels tonight! Whee!!!! I also have some butter toffee caramel corn stuff along. Yay! Really. Yay!

So.... It's now time for me to wander about the internet looking for things that I don't usually go after when at home on the dialup!

   Bllrrrrggghhhh!

Well, this really sucks. I've come to the conclusion that the plumbers just don't give a rat's ass about our house. The last time they were in was on Tuesday! Okay... Wednesday they weren't there because the carpenter was putting in sheetrock. They told him they'd get the tub hooked up to the pipes so we could use it. They didn't come back at all that day. On Thursday there a watermain broke on South Hill, so they never showed up. On Friday a watermain broke on Main Street and they never showed up! We called them twice on Friday to see if they had a projected time to hook the thing up. They never called back! I realize that broken watermains do tend to take priority, but they could at least have called us back. The telephone works both ways, people! Now, of course, it's the Labor Day weekend, so they won't be in on Monday. I really wish these people would talk to us! We're the ones rearranging our schedules for them. The least they could do is talk to us!!!!

Other than that... I've been, well, sorta busy. I had Friday & Saturday off and enjoyed every minute of it! The weather was nice and pleasant, so I didn't suffer in hot, humid ickyness.

I'm at work right now. I brought my laptop along, but ended up doing a lot of stuff to correct things that the weekend auditor didn't do or goofed up. It took quite a while, so I didn't even bother getting the laptop out.

It's now approaching 9:00 pm. Time to do some actual work again. Crap.

   I'm fine... how are yoooou?

All righty. It's Thursday evening, 6:40 pm (CDT). I'm hungry!!!! Good thing food is on its way here. *thinks for a moment* Hmm... this is the third post in a row that I've done just before eating. Weird.

Anyhoo... I got to sleep all the way to 9:15 this morning! The carpenter wasn't going to be at the house until 10:00 and the plumbers couldn't make it. Something about a watermain break in the south part of town.... I think. Anyways, I GOT TO SLEEP!!!!!

Last night's pizza was kind of gross. We did the Brooklyn Style from Domino's. I wasn't impressed. I've never been to NYC, so I can't really judge it against authentic New York style pizza. But in comparison to the New York style pizza from Zio's in Omaha, the thing from Domino's was rather lacking in something. I don't know what, but it was a bit disappointing. The breadsticks were good, though.

I can't wait for this evening to be over. I have Friday and Saturday both off!!! In a row, even! I don't know what I'll be doing, but I do know it won't be working! Wahahahahahaha!!!!

Well, that just about wraps it up for this unit tonight. I just hope the food gets here soon. I'm having broccoli beef from Panda Express. I have been so hungry for Chinese food and tonight is the first time I've worked with someone else that wanted Chinese in a long time! *grrrrrrrowwwwllll* Oh, there goes my stomach again!

   So.... sleeeeeeepy....

Again.

Well, the progress on the remodelling of the bathroom is coming along pretty well. There are no longer any holes in the house that shouldn't be there. Hooray. There is a bathtub up there now. I don't think it's connected yet. I hope it gets hooked up soon. I'm getting tired of going over to my sister's house. Not that I don't love my sister. I'm just getting tired of going over there and ending up smelling like cigarette smoke after I shower.

Tomorrow I get to sleep in! Hooray! The carpenter is going to come around 10:00 to work on the sheetrock some more for a little while. Something with some tape stuff that covers up the seams between the pieces of sheetrock.

Well, it's time for food again. 6:05 pm. Tonight it's pizza from Domino's and I have to go get it.

Lunchtime approaches!

Well, the carpenters are here working on the bathroom. Yesterday the bathtub arrived. It's still not usable, but it's there! Hooray!

I actually got going today in a way that allowed me to get online for a while. I've been online for about an hour now and am starting to get hungry. I'm also starting to yawn again. I hate losing about 2 to 3 hours of sleep because of having to get up for the workers. Thursday morning is going to suck. I have to work until midnight Wednesday, so I won't be home until around 1:00 am.

I'm also starting to babble....
