   I should seriously think about going to bed...

... but then again, I'm waiting for The Dead Zone to start. I missed the first airing of it tonight.

By the way, it's still Sunday for me. For a few minutes yet...

I had the day off. It was nice to be able to sleep in for a change and not have to deal with people working on our bathroom.

I hope that gets done soon.

   Time to go home yet?

Hell no! *growls*

I'm still stuck here for a bit over three hours. It may be over three hours. The guy that supposed to be in at 11:00 doesn't always come in on time. He thinks it's funny. I think he's an idiot.

A few comments on comments. (I don't remember who wrote what):

Yes, that pink was awful. I've hated it from the day we moved into the house 18 years ago! I am absolutely ecstatic that it is gone! But I think our shower curtain is cuter than cute.

As for getting the plumbers in in less than a week... well, yes & no. It actually took over three weeks to get them there in the first place to figure out what was leaking from that bathroom into the kitchen below. And that was over a month ago!

Other bathrooms in the house? Well, does a half bathroom count? Our laundry room has a sink and toilet. That's it. There is no shower in the basement like some houses will have. So we have to go over to our sister's house to shower. It sucks. It's inconvenient. My sister & her husband both smoke, so it stinks, too.

Well... now that I've wasted a bunch of time, I suppose I could do some actual work.

   It's getting out of control!!!!

The bathroom remodelling is becoming more interesting day by day....

Sunday: last day of the old bathroom.
Monday: Carpenters gutted the bathroom!
Tuesday & Wednesday: nothing happened. Plumbers were out of town on another job.
Thursday: Plumbers came in to start working on pipes. Well, it's become interesting. We got a new hot water heater. The old one was leaking. They enlarged the hole in the kitchen ceiling to get at the pipes. They put holes in the kitchen wall to get at more pipes. When I left for work, they were taking a mini-jackhammer to the bathroom floor to get at pipes! The floor was part cement up there! Yikes.

   I shoulda stood in bed!

Actually, that should read, "I could've stayed in bed!"

I thought the plumbers were coming this morning, so I got up at 7:00. They hadn't shown up by 9:00, so I called them. They said they told the carpenter that they wouldn't be in until tomorrow. Well, I don't recall anyone telling me that! Grrrr!!!

So... I was out of bed 2 to 3 hours earlier than usual. Now I'm tired and a little cranky. Really cheesed me off....

Work is pretty dull right now. Except every time I try to take a bite of my sandwich, the phone rings. ...Note to self: kill phone.

It's been raining all day! Yay! That's kept the temperature at a tolerable level! Yay!! I love it! Unfortunately, all the rain we've gotten can't soak into the ground anymore, so there's been flooding or the potential for it. Boo.

So... I think I will try to finish my sandwich and wander off to do stuff.

   I'd rather be asleep.

I think that's the story of my life anymore... It's so hot & muggy that all vestiges of energy have been sapped from me.

Yesterday was interesting. The guys that are remodelling our bathroom finally came to start work on it! Woohoo! When I left for work yesterday, the bathtub was on the front porch, the toilet was in the side yard by the birdbath & I have no idea where the sink was. Today, the entire contents of the bathroom (except, perhaps, the tub) are in a dumpster at the side of the house. I have been taking pictures. I'll get them posted eventually. I'm currently at work and don't have my camera or laptop along to get any of them up right now. There will be some "before" pictures as well. Should be interesting to see what it looks like when finished.

Well, I think I'm going to go now. My stomach is growling and people are walking in the door. *sigh* I wish they'd just leave me alone. ;)

   Oh man...

I'm tired. It's midnight. I gotta go up and take a shower. If they're coming in to start ripping out our bathroom in the morning, I better shower now. Then I gotta try to get to sleep. That's gonna be a bit difficult. Maybe... I'm tired. I just want to know how long this bathroom work is going to take.

As for what I've been up to... Saturday and Sunday both were days off. I did little of great excitement. My brother & I went to SUX as usual on Saturday. The most interesting thing I got was a case for my phone. Whee. Maybe the Transformer game cards could be more exciting. Sunday I stayed home. Didn't do a thing of great import. The most excitement was watching TV all evening. Watched my Ghost Rider DVD, Dead Zone, Law & Order: SVU and something about Dire Wolves. Yippee.

Now... it's time for me to go take that shower.

   Happy Joyous Work Post!

What the hell is that all about?

Anyhoo... this is a slightly hyper Kitsune right now. I have absolutely no idea why.... I'm at work. I shouldn't be hyper like this.

So, I hear you ask, "Why is she so hyper?" Well, it's a happy type of hyper! I finally got my minutes transferred from my old phone to the new one. And they gave me extra minutes, too! Woohoo!!!! *does a happy dance*

Now I think I better go eat. It's almost 7:00 pm and I'm getting hungry!

   Still not right....

Yeah...it's been well over 24 hours since I talked to my cellphone people and the minutes still haven't been transferred over. *sigh* I don't want to lose almost 8 hours of phone time! Grrrr!!!

Of all the days to not have my camera! I had a rare treat today at work. A couple of the railroaders that stay here caught their train about two blocks from the hotel. I got to go on the train and look around. It was so cool. The view from the cab is really neat. Up so high. Anyhoo... sometime I'd like to be able to take some pictures out at the yard. I'll have to ask them if I could do that sometime on a day off or something.

Well, it's now almost 11:00 pm. I think I will stop playing around with this computer and actually talk to my brother! Yeeek!

   Cell phone hell!!

I got a new cell phone the other day. I got it activated. I called today to get the minutes off my old one transferred to the new one. That was 6 hours ago.... the minutes are still on the old phone. *sigh* I really hate cell phones sometimes.

Well, it's Tuesday. I'm at work and I'm bored. I think I will find something to do. After checking my cellphone thing online.
