   SSDD

See yesterday's post, but make the following changes:
1. Tuesday, not Monday.
2. Add about 6 million more rings of the telephone.
3. Add rampant stupidity to the phone calls.

Well, that about sums it all up again. I've got just under 3.5 hours left of my shift. Then only one more day of work before two days off. I can't wait. I am going to be completely unavailable on Friday if at all possible. I'll try to visit sites more on Thursday night. I have just run out of time right now.

   Ready for bed.

Late Sunday post. I've got about 20 minutes left on my shift. The weekend was really busy. I stayed up way too late last night and have been feeling it all day. My headache hasn't quite gone away yet. It probably won't until I get some sleep.

Nothing else is going on right now. I did some work at my kanji last night and wanted to get back to it tonight, but time had flown by... I don't feel like pulling it out now. Too late to do anything like that, unless I do it at home before I go to bed.

Well, time to wander off and check something else before I leave work.

Work is busy this weekend, so it's gonna be a short post. I gotta get ready for work here in a few minutes.

I keep forgetting to make iced tea or lemonade. I think the fact that I have to work six nights in a row caused my brain cell to switch off in self defense.

Well... I gotta run now. There's a few other things I want to do online before going off to work.

   And now.... an explanation

I owe you guys an explanation for yesterday's post.

It was my birthday. Hooray! I'm 42 now.

I was at work.... with the little psycho... I had been in the middle of reading some messages and posts here when the lobby filled up with about 12 truckers and a few other people all wanting to check in at once. Of course the phone, which had been totally silent up until then, started to ring off the hook at the same time. It actually was kind of fun.

Well, I'm at work again right now. It's a lot quieter than last night. I'm actually a little bored. Oh, go check out Benzaiten's site. I busted my butt to get her theme up and running. It looks best if you have 1280x800 resolution, but it's not too horrible on 800x600.

Time to do something creative involving paper.

   What the?

*checks calendar* Yeah, it's Sunday. It feels almost like a Monday. I'm at work and I've been busy! Got absolutely slammed from 5:20 to 6:30! That's really unusual for a Sunday. Usually Sundays are fairly dead.

Weird.

So... sorry I didn't get to visit today. It's about 8:30 now and I've got work to do! Yeek!

   Frreeeooowww!!! Pop! Pop! Pop!

Second day off... Thursday. Donnerstag. Mukoyoubi. Also known as Laundry Day!

My kitten is defective. She's also a little brain damaged right now! This afternoon I was out in the kitchen putting dishes away and she was being really affectionate and rubbing around my legs. I started to walk into the dining room and she still wanted to rub around my legs. There was a rather loud SMACK as she whacked her head on my shin. I'm surprised I don't have a cat head shaped bruise on my leg. It hurt! I had to chase her into the living room to be able to check if she was all right. No lasting damage was done to either her head or my leg. She's just so energetic and silly.

So, not much else is going on with me. I have to work tomorrow at 4:00. I'm going to meet a friend for lunch. We haven't seen each other for a while, so it should be fun.

   Commercials are making me hungry.

Commercials are making me hungry. KFC commercials... I want chicken. PappaJohn's commercials... I want pizza! *sigh*

Wednesday was a day off. Hooray! It rained a bunch during the day. I managed to walk to the post office between storms.

I did go through all my writing notebooks to see if there was anything interesting in them. I did find a lot of stuff written when I was going through that bad time a couple years ago. Some of it is pretty depressing.

Well, I'm going to wander off for a while now. Thursday is another day off... whee!
