   I think I wore myself out.

Thursday was day off. Hooray. I did a lot of stuff. Here's my day:

1. Woke up around 10-ish. Ate breakfast, read paper, called body shop to see if mirror had arrived for car. It had.
2. Got dressed quick and took Onigiri down to the body shop. Then walked to bank and post office and back home. (I live in a small town.)
3. Showered quick. Answered phone after shower and it was body shop guy saying Onigiri was done. Only about 45 minutes passed from when I took him down there. My body shop guy is good!
4. Ate lunch.
5. Started laundry. Since it was a very nice day, I decided to hang my clothes out on the line to dry. Discovered I couldn't find the clothespins. Walked down to hardware store to buy some.
6. Washed five loads of laundry. Hung out the stuff that doesn't turn to cardboard if not dried in a dryer.
7. Took stuff in from clothesline. Folded it, put it away, made bed.
8. Finally started to relax. Brother woke up. We discussed what to do for supper.
9. Went to Subway in town to the south. Was the worst experience in a Subway ever!!!!! The food was good, but the service was sluggish and all the tables were filthy. Took food out of Subway and found a little park and had a picnic.
10. Realized that the table at the park wasn't much cleaner than those in Subway, but also realized that picnic areas in parks are not expected to be clean. Restaurants should be clean!
11. Went home. Went for a walk after we got home. Big mistake as I was not wearing shoes that are good for walking. Both of my ankles seized up on me! One still hurts now.
12. Back home and layed around the floor for a couple hours and now I'm online.

Quite the day, eh? Well, tomorrow is the first of five days in a row of work. I'm not looking forward to Friday and Saturday. Busy weekend. Overbooked weekend. Yikes!

So, I think I'm going to wander off now. Sorry for babbling so much.

   I gotta stop staying up so late!

Well, the time is almost 2:30 am! I'm still awake. I'm tired, though.

I somehow managed to get through work without destroying the telephones, strangling my coworker, or slapping guests. I don't know how I did it.

I did also manage to get a little sketch done while waiting for my shift to end. I finished it up with my grey markers at home while watching History Channel. My latest anime/manga discovery is Trinity Blood. I did a sketch of Abel in a quiet, peaceful moment. It's up in the fanart section now. Here's the thumbnail:

   *growls*

Well, I'm suddenly in a really bad mood for no readily apparent reason. However, one of the major contributing factors is this: WORK! Yeah. Monday at work. What can I say? Phone never rings when there's no one in the lobby. Phone rings off the hook when the lobby has a bunch of people in it. I'm starting to get a headache. I want to go home and watch FMA or read Kenshin. *sigh* Neither of those are gonna happen soon. It's only 6:00 pm. *answers phone* *answers phone again*

   Time to par-tay!

Yep. Party time. I've been on MyO for three years as of today. It's amazing, but this place has been therapeutic for me. I was going through a really bad time when I joined, but my life has improved. I credit that to many things. Including all the people I've met here. So, as thanks, I give you this picture.



I hope you all enjoy the new theme. It's taken me quite a lot of time to get it all ready for today. Took a lot of work to get the avatar to upload, too. I don't know why it took four tries....

   Why am I still awake?

Well, work Tuesday night was not fun at all. There's a baseball tournament in town and we've got teams staying at the motel. Three teams checked in Tuesday. It wasn't so bad, but around 8:00 pm the internet went down. I spent the better part of 45 minutes fielding calls telling me the internet was down. I just wish I could have said, "Yes, I know the internet is down. Now if you people would just shut the **** up and leave me the **** alone, I just MIGHT be able to call tech support and see what's going on!" After two hours trying to get to tech support, I finally talked to a real person that told me there was an outage and it was being worked on. That two hours of trying to reach a real person was interrupted frequently by having to field other calls, check people in, deal with baseball players, deal with truckers, and do my deposit. It was not a pleasant time. I was trying to do some drawing, but gave up as I had no attention span for anything like that.

Speaking of drawing... Monday night I had pencilled out this rather nice little chibi. But then I royally screwed him up when I started to ink him. Really pissed me off. I shredded the drawing. *sigh*

I was going to attempt to draw something after I got home from work tonight, but I ended up watching an old episode of The Dead Zone instead. I got online during it and am now starting to get really tired. I guess I will go get my NHL score and then go to bed. Nighty night!

   I really wish this headache would go away.

But for that to happen, a lot of stuff would have to change in my life. For one, a different job would be perfect. I won't go into details. I've done that too many times. I don't want to bore you anymore. As my brother says, it's a good thing I don't have a gun. Last night I would have killed the telephone and a couple computers. If a hammer had been close at hand, someone's cell phone would have been smashed. So now it's Tuesday almost 1:00 pm. I have a headache (again). I have to work tonight again. *sigh*

I guess I will wander off now. I have to finish off something else here and finish watching a movie before going to work. Blah.

   Bored bored bored bored bored....

Guess what! I'm bored!

After three days off, I'm back to work. It's dull. I've only been here a little over three hours. That means five to go! Blargh.....

I found out how much I've paid for my car, and discovered that I have not paid more for gas than I have for it. Not yet anyways.....

*cough cough cough* Good lord, that woman's perfume was strong! I could barely breathe!

So, here I am. Bored out of my skull and hungry. I guess I'll go get my lunch and chow down. Wheee!

   We've got movie sign!!!!

Well, my brother & I went to see Spiderman 3 today. It's good. I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard at parts of the other two as I did at some of the stuff in this one. It's really good, but the second movie was the best. We saw previews for the third Pirates of the Caribbean and the second Fantastic Four movies. Can't wait!!!!! The Silver Surfer looks way cool.

Hmm...I just forgot what I was going to say. Oh yeah! I've got an answer for Pandurai's question of how I can write something like 8 chapters in 3 hours.... I'm that good. Seriously, though... I actually had all 35 chapters typed up prior to putting them on the website.

Here's my writing process:
1. I go over ideas in my head as I fall asleep. Sort of like role playing.
2. I do the first writing by hand. I have a spiral notebook and a buttload of gel pens. Lately I have to have multiple colors of gel pens to be able to write. My current batch has 12 different colors! Whee!
3. I type up the chapter and do some editing and rewriting as I do that.
4. I post the chapter here on MyOtaku first, then put it up on the fiction site. I had to redo the entire fiction site because I screwed it up sometime last year. It took me about a week total to get those 35 chapters up.

So, that's my writing process in a nutshell. Thrilling, eh? Yes, I also use Canadian colloquialisms. I'm a polyglot!

Thursday while doing laundry, I was entertaining myself by making a spreadsheet of the amount of gasoline I have put into my car. It's actually kind of depressing to know that I've spent almost as much on gasoline as I have on car payments! Here's a slap in the face from reality for you:

Total miles I've put on Onigiri: 40315.8
Total gallons of gas put into him: 1415.97
Total money spent on gas: $3131.26
Lowest price for gas: $1.359 per gallon (when I filled it up the first time!!!!)
Highest price for gas: $2.999 per gallon (for now, anyways)
Average price for gas: $2.204 per gallon (again, for now...)
Lowest MPG: 20.40 (crappy gas!)
Highest MPG: 40.29 (road trip!)
Average MPG: 28.71 (not too bad for an 8 year old car)

So... there's some frightening statistics for you that want your own car. They're not cheap!
