   Guest: How are you? Me: Tired and cranky.

I was going to rant here, but after an hour and a half of reading email & playing solitaire while waiting for email to come up, I've run out of vitreol and will just post.

Tuesday pretty much sucked. It was cold and windy outside. I don't mind the cold, but the wind can make me very nervous. I've been like that since the years at the screenprint shop and the prevailing South wind would whistle through the door to the shop. Tuesday's wind was from the Northwest and was gusting up to 40 miles an hour. The trip to work was one gigantic right turn as I had to steer to the right to keep from being blown off the road.

Work sucked because of so many things. As usual, I worked with the psycho. I really am tired of being the only one to work with him. Also because of the wind, my eyes itched. The sales director and one of the maintenance men were sitting in the sales director's office talking and smoking. That didn't help my itchy eyes at all. The smell was enough to make my sinuses close up. I had to close the door that leads to the offices in back. Then there's the fact that I was scheduled to work 4 to 12 Wednesday, which would mean I would get to drive the shuttle, but the girl scheduled for 3 to 11 can't work it and I have to do it now and get stuck working with the little psycho yet again. Then there was the internet... or the lack thereof. Yeah, the internet was having issues at work. I spent at least an hour talking to tech support to see if we could get it working again. Guests were asking about it. The last guy I talked to was support for the wireless connection. After a half hour or more phone call, he couldn't figure out what was going on and asked for the cable connection's tech support number because there was something weird going on. I don't know if they ever got it worked out. I finally gave up on email and such and did my shift change and played solitaire until the night auditor came in.

God, I hate that place.

I just want to survive tomorrow with my sanity relatively intact, so I can go to the concert Thursday night and not feel like crap. Then all I have to do is get through yet one more night of work with the little psycho and then it's vacation time! A week away from that hell hole! Yay!

Well, I guess this did turn into a little bit of a rant after all. It's nowhere near as bad as it would have been at midnight when I got home.

It's now 1:40 am. I think I'm going to go to bed now.

   I said,

Well, here it is, 10:53 pm CDT, on Monday. I didn't have to work today. Yay! After last night, I swear I would have had to do serious bodily harm to the little psycho. I'm so happy I have vacation time coming up so I don't have to put up with the twirp for a week. Yay!!!!!

As I said, I had the day off. I did five loads of laundry!!! Only one thing in those five loads was mine! Argh! Is that nuts, or what?

Well, it's trying to rain outside, I think. I've heard thunder a couple times. It doesn't seem to be trying very hard.

I'm starting to get a little bored here. I typed up a bunch of stuff this afternoon while doing laundry. It's great that my parents are gone and I can actually do what I want to do on my day off!

My parents are in Maryland now for their annual volunteer work. They'll be out there three or four months. I don't remember how long. It's a month shorter than usual because of my sister.

Anyhoo... boredom is starting to take over. I need to find something interesting to do.

   ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sunday evening. At work. Quiet.... for the most part. The little psycho won't shut up! He's reading the newspaper and is commenting on every little thing again. I'm trying hard to ignore him, but he keeps asking questions.

Well, my brother & I went to a hockey game last night. It was awful. We lost 5 to 2! It was so embarrassing. As soon as we got home, we threw our jerseys into the washing machine and started it up to wash the loser funk off of them. We have tickets for next Saturday's game, too. We're not wearing our local jerseys. We're going to wear our Canadian teams... He's got the Canadiens. I have the Senators. I hope they help.... we need some wins.

Well, Thursday is coming to a close here on the Edge of Sanity. I had the day off as usual. I did laundry as usual. I also took a quick trip to SUX to have my eyes examined. I barely have any change in prescription. I'll get new glasses eventually. I just didn't have the money to get them right now.

I think I'm gonna start another countdown. This one is days until vacation. Yep. I'm taking my vacation time in a little over a week. Nothing exciting planned except for a couple days in Omaha. I'm gonna go to the zoo and bug my sister. I may also do some serious work on websites and my theme here during that time.

So, now it's time to continue the wandering about the 'net.

Well, I'm at work again. Tuesday was pretty dull here. Tonight was busy for a while, but has gotten a little on the boring side now.

I'm starting to get anxious for the concert next week. I hope it's good. I forked out $154 for tickets! Yeah, I paid that much for two tickets, but I got good seats. We're on the main floor in row nine!!! Woohoo!!! Oh, I don't know if I've ever said who we're going to see. Blue Man Group is gonna be here in SUX! I can't wait!! Yeeeee!!!!!

   I wore myself out....

Well, the clock just struck midnight behind me, so it's officially Tuesday now!

Monday was a day off. It was weird having a Monday off. It was also very nice outside. I took two walks. I wore my sandals and got blisters from them. That sucked.

So now I'm sitting here, half-watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Also contemplating going to bed...

Wish I could say something truly exciting happened today, but it didn't. So mellow...

   So nice outside!

I hate being inside working!

Today for lunch, my oldest brother & his wife came down and my oldest sister and her family came over. My parents leave for Maryland this coming Friday, so my brother came down to see them before they leave. It was fun having them around. The sister that came over is the one that had the aneurysm at the beginning of February. She's still frustrated by not being able to communicate very easily. We picked on each other! She helped me with dishes after we ate and then later I tried to tickle her. She chased me out of the kitchen with the squirt bottle we use to discipline the cats! I didn't get to spend the afternoon with the family because I had to go to work. *sigh*

So, here I am, sitting at work, wondering about the bus out in the parking lot. *checks people in* Hmm... it was a reservation. Whee!

Oh yeah. I found out that my brother had taken a picture of the pothole. Here it is. Click it to look at it non-transparent. And that is a yardstick in the pothole! Yep, it was three feet wide at that point!



Well, so now I will leave you all on this beautiful Sunday evening. I may find something else to do here. The computer is beginning to bore me.

   They filled in the pothole!!

There was this huge pothole down the street from my house. It was about three or four feet across and about six inches deep. I wanted to take a picture of it. I knew I should've done it when I got back from the bank.

Well, Thursday was a day off. It was really nice out, but I spent most of it inside as usual. My brother & I did go for a walk after supper. We wore ourselves out. We took a route that had a pretty decent hill on it.

So. Now I don't know what to do tonight. It's just past midnight and I should be contemplating sleeping. I probably won't for a while yet.

Wednesday night. I'm slightly hyper. I have no idea why! I'm at work and not working with the little psycho! That may be the major contributing factor to my hyper-ness.

I didn't bring my laptop tonight. I should have. Oh well, I guess I can occupy myself in other ways that don't involve computers. Maybe I'll start throwing little pieces of paper at April. Heh heh heh!

Well, I guess it's time to wander away and do something else.

   I think the penguins are after my brother again!!!

Well, it's Tuesday night at work and it's a lot quieter than last night! I actually got to eat dinner at a somewhat normal time!

Not much has been going on in my life. It's just the same old, same old, every day. Get out of bed, eat breakfast, bathe, watch a little anime or whatever, go downstairs, pick on my cat, eat lunch, play cards, go back upstairs, watch a little anime, get ready for work, work, go home, watch TV, go to bed. Repeat ad nauseum.

I really should give the manager a call about something here, but have been putting it off for a while. It's sort of important, so I suppose I better do it. *sigh* Then I probably could find some more work to do.

Well, my creative juices have been building up again... I feel the need to draw... or write... or sleep.
