   Not again!

I have a sore throat again. I don't want to go another round with this stupid cold!!! The first time was bad enough. *sigh*

Nothing exciting going on in my life here on a Wednesday that's almost over. I didn't do very much of great importance. My mom & I watched a good chunk of a soccer game on ESPN this afternoon. Manchester United beat Losc Lille 1 to 0.

Well, I have Thursday off, too. I better work at that Tshirt design.

   Hyperactivity!!!!!! Wheeee!!!

Once again, I've been busy! Whee. It's 10:00 pm now and I'm finally getting a chance to post. Sorry I haven't visited, but it's been a trip these last couple days. I think I'd rather be really busy than bored out of my skull.

I have the next two days off. Hopefully I will be able to visit sites and comment then. I also hope to be able to get some work done on that t-shirt design. I did get the book cover done and got $10 for it! I didn't want more than $5, but the lady gave my mom another $5 this morning. I spent the $10 on food... is that wrong?

   Saturday comes to a close even though this says Sunday

Well, the sun came out today! It's still cold outside and we still have a rather horrible amount of snow outside.

I did actually leave the house today! A few times even! I still don't have my car out of the driveway and won't be able to get it out tomorrow so I can go to work. But that doesn't mean I won't be going to work. My brother-in-law is going to take me into SUX tomorrow & I'll stay at the motel overnight and ride home with my brother on Monday morning. Whee... Too bad Cartoon Network is horrible on Sunday nights. *sigh*

Almost Saturday...

Even though it says Saturday up there, there's still about 10 minutes of Friday left for me!

It still was snowy here all day. I think it's snowing now. I didn't do much of great importance today. I was supposed to go to work but, well, I couldn't get my car out of the driveway. Can you guess why? Can you find my car? I'll give you a clue: it's the white thing in the driveway in this picture. Click it to see it non-transparent.



I hope I can get it out of the driveway by Sunday. I have to work Sunday. Not that I really want to, but I better if I am going to pay for bills and stuff.

Well, there you have it. My exciting Friday. Gotta go now. Must find something interesting to do.

   Blizzard!

Yeah, an honest to goodness blizzard is going on outside! I'm not sure when it started. It was going when I got out of bed this morning. I don't know if it's still snowing now, but it's blowing like crazy! Oh, by the way, it's still Thursday right now.

I'm still battling the stupid cold. My nose is really sore now. I'm glad I didn't have to work today. I'd have been really miserable. I'm most likely not going to be going to work tomorrow either. Even if I didn't have this cold, I wouldn't be there because of the blizzard. The blizzard warnings end at 6:00 pm Friday!

Well, I wish there was something exciting I could relate to you all, but nothing is coming to mind. Hope everyone is safe from the nasty weather!

   Ow... my nose....

Yep. Still got that cold. The sore throat is gone, but my nose is stuffed up almost constantly. I've been sneezing all evening. I grabbed a box of kleenex and have it here by the computer. I think I've used about two dozen of them. I just wonder where all the gunk in my head comes from. I keep blowing and blowing and blowing, but it still keeps coming!!! Arrrgh!

Sorry... that was a bit on the gross side.

Well, it's still Wednesday for me. I had the day off and did my laundry a day early. Such a wild woman! I did get the book cover done because I thought I had to have it done on Thursday. But my mom's friend switched work with someone, so she doesn't need it until Tuesday. *sigh* Oh well, it's done. I just need to get in gear on that T-shirt design.

So, since my nose is running and running, I may go to bed early-ish tonight. That means I'm probably going to go upstairs and watch TV up there from the comfort of my bed. Either that or write or play on my GBA.

   Crud percentage: 80%

Well, that's the percentage of how crappy I feel today. It's down from 99% yesterday. The difference is I don't have a headache today. I still have a bit of a sore throat, but have purchased honey lemon echinacea Ricola cough drops to soothe it. Hooray!

Otherwise, not much is going on with me. I have another art commission of a sort. My mom actually volunteered me for this one. It's a cover for a book for a friend of hers. It's also a rush job and I could be working at it instead of posting, but I think I may wait until tomorrow when I'm at home on my day off from work. I still don't know what to charge the other guy for the t-shirt design.

I'm so glad I have the next two days off. I am having to suppress my violent urges to put a serious dent into the little psycho. It's beyond belief how annoying he can be. The other night between him and one of the railroaders it was a non-stop gripe session. My brother and I both sat here and said absolutely nothing. Both of us were doing our best to keep from strangling the two of them. I was trying to do some writing and it wasn't easy keeping the violent tendencies out of it.

Well, I think I'm going to try to do something else here. I don't know what yet, but it may or may not involve a computer. A pen of some sort may be involved.

   Why can't I go home yet?

Just because I still have over two hours of my shift left!!!!

Ahem...anyhoo....

Well, I actually got to go home this morning, after spending two nights in the motel. I had to get out of bed way too early, but at least I was able to get home. Yay! I took a two hour nap once I got there.

So, now I'm at work again. *sigh* I feel mostly crappy. Had a headache and sore throat when I got up this morning. The headache is mostly gone, but my throat still hurts a little. I've been drinking water to help soothe it. I don't want this crappy sickness stuff! Make it go away!

I did some more playing around with my Copic markers last night and came up with a quick sketch of Hikaru's grandfather. I think it came out fairly well, considering I don't have very many of the markers and was kind of winging it when it came to his kimono. It'll be up in my fanart shortly. But I have to check something first. Okay, this should be interesting. The USB port on this computer isn't a high-speed one and my flash drive is high-speed. The computer said it should work, so I'm gonna give it a try.

So...that's about it.

   SNOW!!!!!

Hello there! It's snowing again. My brother & I came in to work early. We got here around noon on Saturday. Neither of us work until Sunday. I'm glad we got here early, as it has snowed quite a bit. The trees outside the window in the hall have about 2 inches of snow stuck to their branches.

Well, I had Saturday off. We didn't really do anything except come into SUX so we'd be at work Sunday. We went to KFC for lunch and then to Barnes & Noble. Then the grocery store and back to the motel. We've been pretty much lazing about since. We watched Trinity Blood a little bit ago, but didn't get much out of it. We're both online and were paying a little more attention to our computers. My brother changed channels and now we've got the German episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus on. I was kinda hoping to watch more anime, but will have to wait until after this is over.

So... I'm just really happy that I don't have to drive at work Sunday night. I don't want to have to go out in this snow.
