This display removed for scientific study

Well, Saturday is winding down for me. It was a day off and I spent it running around SUX with my brother as usual. Once again, there was a hockey game that we decided not to go to. Let's see... we went to Wal-mart to cash in some cans and to get an oil change for his car. There was a three hour wait for the oil change, so he didn't have it done. We also waited a while to cash in the cans, but did that eventually. I bought some peppermints because I was out of them upstairs. Then we went to Barnes & Noble. I bought Chrono Crusade v.4. Then off to Target... got another hour of time for my cell phone and some FMA cards. Whee....

Now I'm at home, I've got TV on and am paying half attention to it. I've seen the show a few times, so I know what's going on.

Well, I think I will wander off now and see what other trouble I can cause around here.

   So sorry.... *bows*

Okay... I'm so sorry for the rant the other day. I guess I was getting a little frustrated by things. I didn't mean to take it out on you guys like that. I think what was frustrating me most was the fact that I live in the same town as my sister, and my mom has been spending just about every day with her, yet I have to get progress reports from my brother. Yep, it's like she tells my brother what's going on and I have to ask him if he's heard anything. So when people at work ask me how my sister is doing, I don't have a clue and they all look at me like I'm cold and unfeeling. But as Thursday was a day off, I finally got told something by my dad and didn't have to ask anyone about her!

So... are you ready for this? My sister got out of intensive care and moved to a regular room!!!!! She'll be starting some sort of physical therapy on Friday. I'm so happy about that. If this cold goes away in the next few days, I'm gonna go visit her. I didn't want to chance it while she was in intensive care. I still want to figure out how to smuggle a cat in to see her....

Well, that's about it for me for now. Again, I apologize for the last post and the rant there. Maybe next time I'll tell you about the kitten we have adopted... or was adopted by....

   Rant zone: I'm a little pissed right now.

I realize that all of you have busy lives and may not be able to stop by. I also realize that I've been busy and haven't been able to visit all of you with any regularity. But to have practically no comments about what's going on with my life and my sister has left me a little upset. I know that you all have your own problems. I've left words of encouragement for many of you when things have been tough. I just feel a little put out that now that there's a crisis in my life, I've not received anything in return. I guess I should never have told you anything about what happened.

Distracted.

I should go to bed... my sinuses are killing me as usual.

Anyhoo...I had Monday off. Did very little of any importance. I did a teeny bit of work on my new theme. Not enough to really consider anything close to being ready to put up.

As for my sister... I realize I didn't say what happened to her. Last Wednesday night after she got off work, she was found collapsed next to her car. She had an aneurysm on her brain. Thursday, she had surgery to take care of it. She's going to be in the hospital for at least three weeks. She does have a page here on MyOtaku, but isn't very active. She has it mainly to keep up with what I'm doing. Her name here is krickit51. So, any and all warm thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I think I will go now. I want to hit a few other places before I go up to bed.

   Still freezing...

....still worried about my sister.

It's so cold out right now. I had Saturday off. Spent it at home doing as little as possible. Too cold to do much running around. Too tired to even try.

I must work on Sunday. It will probably be boring and cold. Even though it's SuperBowl Sunday, I won't be watching the game. No TV behind the desk. Maybe the little psycho will go watch the game for a while and leave me alone.

Well, still have email to go through.

   Freezing.

I'm so cold. The temperature has fallen quite a bit and the wind chill is dropping as the night continues. I just hope my car starts up when I get to go home.

I feel a bit better than I did last night, but I'm still a little down. Read yesterday's post to find out why. I think getting a good night's sleep has helped me feel better.

   Down...

Well, I'm kind of down today. I got home at about 10 minutes to midnight last night and found my mom still awake and playing on the computer upstairs. My brother-in-law had called about 10 minutes earlier and said my sister was in the hospital. She was found collapsed next to her car after getting off work. So I ended up taking my parents back into SUX so Mom could be at the hospital with my sister. I took my neice back home because she needed to go to school today. I got back home at 3:00 am and didn't get to sleep until after 4:00. I got maybe 5 hours of sleep. Then I got called in to work tonight.... *sigh*

I'm working under the assumption that "No news is good news" as far as my sister is concerned. There was a good possibility that she had surgery this afternoon. I haven't heard from anyone about it, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

So, please forgive me if I don't visit tonight.

Not much happening here, either...

Just finished up email and visiting all who posted before 7:45 pm (CST). I'm at work and am considering going offline so I can work on something else. Also trying not to act out the urges in my mind... that would be very bad. And messy.

Work is boring tonight. I was called to come in at 3:00 instead of 4:00. At least I get to go home at 11:00 instead of 12:00. Yay. Then I guess I'll watch some FMA when I get home. w00t!

I think that I shall now meander over to a couple other sites and see what's going on there.

   < --- Me: waiting for the computer

I was on the glacially slow computer earlier tonight. It took five hours to go through my email. For being hooked up to cable, it sure is slow. Makes my dialup at home seem lightning fast.

Not much going on here. Just working as usual. It's insanely cold outside. I hope the cold goes away soon.

So... I think I will continue on with my verbs at the other end of the counter. Whee!!!

   I've got a chip on my shoulder and a halo on my head...

Well, I'm feeling slightly worse than last night. However, I took some stuff for my sinuses and some tylenol, so I do feel better than I did when I got to work tonight. Stupid cold....

I still won't go on about what had me all wound up for the past few days. Slightly Agressive Apathy has turned into Just Plain Apathy. Whee.

I did actually get a drawing done last night! It's in my fanart already. Go, look, enjoy. Give him a cookie. It's also going into my deviantArt page. I've also submitted a scrap over there. It's a perspective drawing that took me forever to do. Click here to see it.
