If I end up sick, blame the yogurt...

My yogurt has a bizarre texture tonight. I think it's because I got the "light & fluffy" texture instead of the regular one. It's just really odd feeling...

Well, it's Sunday evening, 6:20 pm. I'm at work and am bored. I've been here since about 1:30, but didn't have to work until 3:00. The reason I left early... SNOW! Yep. It's snowing at us. I should've rode in with my brother, but he told me to go on ahead by myself. One of the highways was crap, but it always is crap. The other highway had one lane cleared. SUX hadn't cleared anything at all. I still don't know if the plows have been out at all here.

I'm happy that I don't have to be the van driver tonight, but I do wish the little psycho would just shut up. He's reading the newspaper and commenting on every single thing he's read so far... including the ads!!!!! It's so frustrating and telling him to be quiet doesn't work, because it doesn't sink in that he's annoying.

I should work on my theme. Yeah. I think I'll do that... after I check something else out here.

   There's a pinata in my dojo!!!!

Well, here it is, approximately 11:20 pm on Thursday night. I guess I didn't post for a couple days, did I?

Let's see... what happened in the past couple days? Hmm....

Tuesday: work. Nothing exciting there. Just more of the same. Was actually kind of busy. I didn't have a chance to crack the laptop open to be able to do anything on my new theme or anything else that needs to be worked on.

Wednesday: work again. Didn't take the laptop, but should have because it was rather boring! We did have one stupid question that had April biting her tongue to keep from laughing and me biting my tongue to keep from making a smartass comment in return. The guy asked if the room had a TV. April almost laughed. I almost said, "Yes, and it's got a bathtub, too!"

Thursday: day off. I actually got some stuff accomplished. I had to take the wee white beastie in for an oil change and a light bulb replacement. Onigiri is a happy car now! I also took my W-2s to the accountant and my paycheck to the bank. Then in the afternoon, I did four loads of laundry. While that was going on, I balanced my checkbook and did a virus scan on my laptop. The evening was spent goofing off. Now it's almost 11:30 and I'm finishing up my email and other online shennanigans.

So, there you have it. My last three days in a nutshell. I gotta work tomorrow again, but have Saturday off. I hope it doesn't snow, so I can run around with my brother again. We'll see what happens...

   5... 4... 3... 2... 1.... Liftoff!!!

Well, that was a truly odd subject line.

Monday is starting to come to a close. I had the day off and once again did as little as possible. My mom had me clean out a cabinet in the upstairs bathroom. We found all sorts of stuff in there and got rid of a bunch of it. I did a little... er, very little... bit of writing. I have some that I could post again, but I just have to get the motivation to actually do something about it.

Oh yeah... I reached 350 guestbook signatures. Let's see how long it actually stays there! ;)

So... I think I will wander off and find something creative to do. There's a couple sites I still wanna hit and a theme to be worked on.

It has begun.....

Yes! Work has begun on the new theme! I won't tell you what it is, but I will say this much: so far it has involved the scanning of 13 images! After I'm done with this post and a few other things online, I'm probably going to do a little more work at it.

Well, Saturday night is winding down for me. It was another day off and was rather nice. My brother & I went to SUX and ran around. Had some issues with WalMart's pop can return machines at two different locations! We did get our cans and bottles redeemed for cash eventually, though. Lunch was KFC! Yum! Then we went and ran around Game Stop for a bit. Didn't buy anything there. Went to Best Buy. Didn't buy anything there, either. Hit Target. Bought some Naruto and FMA cards. *grin* Finally hit the comic book shop. I didn't buy anything, but my brother did. We also had fun picking on the owner's husband! There was a trashy romance novel on the one counter and we were claiming it was his book and not hers! That was fun... and funny. Especially the expression on his face when I pointed at him and said the book was his. Then we went home. Haven't been doing much of anything since... watched TV for a while, almost fell asleep while doing that. Scanned those pictures in. Read email. Now posting.

So... I think I will wander off now. I have to work Sunday night. It should be quiet. I work with the psycho, unfortunately, but that also means I can play with my laptop. So I will be able to work on my theme if the urge strikes me.

   Time to make the donuts.

Thursday was a day off. I stayed home and did laundry. I did some writing, too. That's about it. I wish I could tell you more was going on, but it was one of those days that was pretty lazy and felt good to do as little as possible. My next day off is Saturday and I'll be running around with my brother as usual.

   We're all fine. Trust me.

But I have my doubts about this keyboard. The TAB key is not functioning properly, if at all. Hmm... I did the Etch-a-Sketch thing and turned it over and shook it to get the gunk out of it, but it didn't help.

Well, 'tis another thrill-a-minute night at work. April & I have made signs to hold up when we get annoyed by the guests. Well, not really. That's not quite right. We did make signs that we taped to pens, but we're not gonna actually hold them up. We both need our jobs. April's sign says, "I don't care." Mine says, "Remind me again why I care." It would be great if we really could use them. It's the thought that counts, right?

Now that I've wasted time here, I think I will wander off and do something destructive... er, constructive with my time. If I had my laptop, I'd start work on that new theme I hinted about the yesterday. Maybe I'll have it done by Chinese New Years....

   It's 2007!!!!!

I was gonna have New Year/New Theme post tonight, but I didn't get the laptop out at all yesterday.

My New Year's Eve was fairly quiet. The rain changed to snow! Yep. It finally snowed. I think we got about 4 inches at home. My brother went in to work early... like 11 hours early! Dad had to take a blowdryer out to thaw out the doors of my brother's car so he could get in! (He had to do the same to mine today!) So, needless to say, I didn't go anywhere yesterday. It was actually kinda nice. I worked at my Japanese for a while, but ended up being distracted through much of it because we were watching movies. We watched Alfred Hitchcock's North By Northwest first. Great movie. I've seen it bunches of times. Then there was another Hitchcock film on after that and we watched most of it before starting up Return of the King. That one really distracted me! I ended up watching it more than anything. I was glued to the tube!!! We watched the extended version, so it was about 4 hours long! That took up most of the evening. I don't remember what we watched after that, but I do remember my Mom dropped the back of an earring on the floor and I crawled around to look for it. In the process I managed to hit my forehead on the corner of the table by the chairs. I have a sore spot on my forehead now and I can't quite tell if it's where I hit the table or a zit.

So, there ya have it. Not a lot of excitement on New Years Eve for me.

As for New Years Day... I'm at work. It's rather boring right now. I get to drive tonight and I've had a few runs right at the beginning of my shift. The last one was about an hour ago. I have just short of 5 hours left of my shift. *sigh* It's gonna be a long night.

   Wheeeeeee!!!!!!

Well, this is the last post of the year! Isn't that crazy?

Anyhoo... this is how my year is ending: With two days off in a row! Yep, I got Saturday the 30th & Sunday the 31st off! Wheeee!!!! I'm so happy I'm not working Sunday night. It's New Years Eve and there's a wedding reception in the hotel. I don't have to work!!! *sings a little annoying song* Nyah! Nyah! Nyah!

As for the weather... it's sending the year out in a truly crappy way! It's been raining for two days! If the temperature drops, we're gonna be covered in ice. Not Whee! My brother & I wish it would just snow and get it over with.

   Arrrrrrgh!!!!!

Stupid dialup! I've officially lost patience with this thing, so the post is gonna be shortish.

My Thursday off was spent spending money. It was payday and I had some shopping that needed to be done. I needed new shoes for work and new bedsheets. I also needed to get some laundry soap so I could do some of my laundry. Now I have new shoes and some clean clothes. What more does a semi-psychotic fox demon need?

Oh, yeah. Reached 5400 hits sometime Thursday. Go me.
