It's just past 11:00 pm on Wednesday right now. I feel slightly crappy. I have a bit of a sore throat on one side of my head. That's really odd feeling. On the other side of my head, my ear hurts... a lot. I must be coming down with something.
I had today off. *sigh* I spent it going through my file cabinet and getting rid of a lot of old stuff that I don't need anymore. I also got my bank statements organized. Whee. Such an exciting life I lead.
Well.. that's about all I have to say for now. I have to work again tomorrow/today/Thursday. I don't have to work with the psycho!
I am at work and bored as usual. I am also wishing that the little psycho would just shut the **** up for a while. He's in fine form as usual. Complaining about how nobody else does anything around here and how he's the only one that does anything. He's also commenting on every little thing he reads in the newspaper... never remembering that I get the thing at home and read it in the morning!!!!
*^*^*^*^*
I think I have a sleep disorder. I sleep late. This morning I heard my Dad plug in the space heater in the bathroom around 6:00 am. I heard my brother come upstairs and talk to my parents around 8:00 or so. I heard my alarm clock go off at 8:30 (turned it off right away, too). I heard my Dad ask Mom about something around 9:30. I didn't hear a thing after that and woke up at 10:30!!! I didn't even notice my cat in bed with me. I sleep very very very well.... O_O
*^*^*^*^*
Hmm.. it's almost 8:00 pm now. I don't know what to do. I have some paperwork about my car loan that I wanted to do something with, but don't know if I really want to work at it right now. It involves using a spreadsheet, and I don't know if I really feel like thinking about it.
Well, I guess I'll wander off now. Just over three hours left of my shift! Woohoo!
It's approximately 11:30 pm on Monday. It's still foggy outside. It's been foggy all day. It's really awful. I'm glad I didn't work tonight. I wouldn't be wanting to drive home at midnight in this crap. Especially since the temperature has probably dropped to below freezing and that would make the roads an absolute mess.

Look! It's the return of my divider!

I got my pillow finished today. It's really kind of pretty. Rather bright colored.

Well, yet another Saturday night. Another three Christmas party night. I hope these people aren't as obnoxious as last night's batch of drunks. But the night is still early, and I dread the next five hours and twenty minutes.
Last night was loud. There were several drunken revelers shouting into their cell phones. There was also a jerk that was completely out of hand with his reaction to something. I'd go into detail about that guy, but I don't want to shock the young people. All I can say is this: to call him a jerk puts it very very mildly.
So, here I am, sitting at work, listening to the noises from the restaurant, thinking about food. I have a chicken sandwich waiting for me. I think I will go eat that. Mmm... chicken...
Three Christmas parties and a birthday party. What more can I say?
Anyhoo... got Onigiri in & out of the mechanic this morning. It wasn't the oil pump! It was a hose leading to the oil pump! Not as expensive as expected. Okay... that's three things that have gone wrong with him in a month. That's all. No more!
Well, boredom and frustration are taking over. I should find something to do. It may not involve the computer. So... sorry for not visiting tonight.
It is so frickin' cold in here that I wish the smiley guy was blue so it would look like he's shivering. I know I am!
Also... I think my car is possessed. It's living up to the first half of its name. Onigiri is definitely acting the oni right now. About three weeks or so ago, he decided he didn't want to start. We were all afraid it was the starter, but it turned out to be the battery. Last Friday, he decided to start shaking when I started it. I was afraid it was something terribly expensive, but it turned out to be one bad spark plug making a cylinder misfire. Last night on my drive home from work, everything was fine until I got to the corner by my house. The oil light decided to come on!!! I called my mechanic this afternoon and took Onigiri down to see him. Of course, the oil light didn't come on. So... they checked the oil. It's fine. I drove to work... got to a stop light. The oil light comes on. It goes out again as I leave the stop light. It comes on at the next one. Goes out as I rev up the car and drive to the grocery store. Comes on as I park the car. *sigh* Out of curiosity, I leave the car in "park" and gun the motor. Hey! It goes over 1000 rpm and the oil light goes out! I get my groceries and go to work and the light doesn't come on at all. Well, Onigiri gets left behind at the mechanic tonight when I get off work so he can be looked at first thing in the morning. So, any warm thoughts would be appreciated for the "health" of my car.
And any warm thoughts would be appreciated so I can feel my fingers again. Damn! It's cold in here!
I have no idea what it is that I don't wanna do, but whatever it is, I don't wanna!!!
It's Wednesday. I'm at work. I get to drive tonight. Whee!
It snowed, or tried to snow, earlier today, so the streets are wet now. Some places are a little slick, but most streets are dry.
I did some Christmas shopping yesterday. It was good. I got something for my Mom & had to order something for my Dad. I hope it gets here by Christmas. They're getting DVDs. I don't know who I'll be getting other stuff for. We usually draw names at Thanksgiving, but with Mom being sick this year, we didn't do it. My oldest brother is coming down to visit on Sunday, so it will probably be done then.
Well, I'm gonna have to go on another run here in a few minutes, so I'll leave you now.
I apologize for the past few days of exceptionally weird posts. I blame .... hmmm.... my warped brain cell.
Anyhoo... I am a lucky Kitsune. My car died (again) Friday. I had stopped at the bank to deposit my paycheck and when I started it up again, it was shaking very bad and the "Service Engine Soon" light started to blink. By the time I got to the end of Main Street, the shaking had stopped and the light had stopped blinking. The light was on solid by then. So... I had to take Onigiri to the mechanic again. My brother had to take me to work Friday. I had Saturday off. (See the previous post for what I did Saturday night.) Sunday my parents took me to work. Monday was another day off. The garage called and Onigiri was done! All that was wrong was a spark plug had gone bad and made one of the cylinders misfire! I was so worried that something truly expensive had gone wrong on him. I am so happy.
Anyhooo... that's pretty much my past few days. Other things done on my day off... laundry as usual. I also started to make a pillow out of a piece of embroidery my Mom did. It's going to be yellow and green with the embroidery in the middle of the top. It'll be a small pillow, but bright. I'll post a picture of it when I get it done.
So, now it's almost midnight. I should go to bed, but I'll probably stay online for a little bit more and then go up and watch FMA for a while.
