   Tin roof!!!!!! Rusted!

Yeah... got the B-52s running through my head now. *starts singing Love Shack at top of lungs for no readily apparent reason except maybe to startle April*

I'm at work. I actually get to drive the van tonight!!! Woohoo!!! It's kinda dead right now, however. I ended up working yesterday 'cuz April's kids were sick.

Other than that, nothing of great excitement has been going on in my life. I have tomorrow off! I'm going to go to a hockey game! I'd be at one tonight if I wasn't here.

Now... I'm off to bigger & better things. Or not... whatever happens, happens.

   The day after.....

Well, it's now November! Where has the year gone? I hope you all had a good Halloween. It seems I got a few retaliation posts from my toilet paper rampage. Good for you guys!

Wednesday was a day off. Did laundry as usual. I worked on some of my Japanese stuff for a while as that went on. I was going to play on my GBA, but almost fell asleep. I gave up and started to move around the house to wake up.

Otherwise, not much excitement going on here. I have Thursday off also. Nothing major planned for it either.

I may have to find something constructive to do here....

   Time for boredom to truly set in.

The time is now 5:02 pm, CST. I'm at work as I usually am at this time on Sundays. I've been here for two hours and I'm seriously bored already. I just finished up my email and am wondering what to do next.

I suppose I could work on my dictionaries. I've got about 4 hours before I need to do something of import around here.

Well... Halloween is around the corner and I have to work. I think I will find some cat ears to wear. I'm not allowed to dress up in costume or anything, so I'm gonna at least do that much.

Now to continue my exciting lifestyle...

Anyhoo... Saturday night. Work. Psycho. Need I say more?

The polls have been closed and the final results are in! Wolverine kicked Batman's arse!! The final score: 10 to 2. My brother still operates under the delusion that Batman would outsmart Wolverine. Ha!!! Wolverine would shred Batman before the Caped Crusader had a chance to think of anything!

Well, now that I've proved once again that I have no life, I will move along to another subject... or not. My mind has gone blank again. Well, not really. It actually turned to the book that I have in my bag... I think I may try to read a little while. Hopefully, I'll get somewhere in it and the psycho won't babble incessantly.

   My hovercraft is full of eels....

Hmm... just midnight now. Thursday is over... Friday begins. So ends my last day off of the week... Didn't do anything of great import.

I did work a little bit at my Japanese again. I've got a box full of index cards with Japanese on them. I'm now trying to organize them... well, I'm trying to alphabetize them. Excel is a nice way to do that.

Halloween is approaching. I know that lots of you are planning costumes. I have to work, of course. With the little psycho, of course. I think I'm gonna find some cat ears to wear just for fun. If I didn't have to wear the ugliest polo shirt in the universe, I'd actually dress up! If I had the right set of ears, I could do my "Desperate" picture costume!

Well... I'm gonna go now. Tales of Phantasia is calling my name....

   Meh... whatever...

Just past 11:00pm on Wednesday now. Yes, another day off. Did laundry. Whee. That's about it.

My brother and I went for a walk after supper. Looked closely at some farm equipment. Exciting, eh? Then the wind got cold and we went home.

That's about it for my day. Nothing exciting at all. I did work at my Japanese for a bit. Now I'm here playing online.

   Kinda tired tonight...

Well, it's just past 11:00 pm on Tuesday for me. I'm a bit tired tonight. I didn't sleep well last night. I guess I was excited or something about my plans for today.

Yep... I had a "me day" and did a road trip to Omaha!!! I was in a little bit of a pissy mood last week when I saw my schedule and that I have only three days this week, I decided I was going to go to Omaha if it was nice out. The forecast for today was for it to be sunny and in the 50s for temperature. I pretty much decided I was gonna do it around 11:30 on Sunday night.

So...here's what I did today:
1. Got up around 8:45 am (way early for me!) and got ready to go and was on the road at about 10:10 am.
2. Got to Omaha around 12:30 and hit the drivethru at Burger King on 28th & Dodge for a couple kid's meals.
3. Went around a few blocks to get back to 26th & Dodge to where my sister works. Yes, we had BK kid's meals! I actually ate the whole thing, which is rare, because I really don't like BK's burgers that much at all.
4. Went over to West Omaha to go bug the girls at New Horizons. Did precisely that for about an hour. It was great.
5. Went to Dick Blick Art Supplies! Woohoo!!! I forgot that they moved across the street from where they had been. I bought 5 colored pencils. Yay!
6. Went to Borders on 72nd & Dodge. Was appalled by the orange and red color scheme in there. It's rather gaudy. I showed great restraint and didn't buy a thing. I could have spent a bunch, but I didn't!
7. Went to my sister's house to see if I could help my brother-in-law unscrew-up a Word file he screwed-up. Couldn't figure out what he did, so I had him email it to me to see if I can figure it out on my own. Haven't had a chance to do that yet.
8. Went to the Mall of the Bluffs for food and a walkabout. Ended up with Kung Pao Chicken and Lo Mein, with an eggroll on the side. Did not show restraint at Barnes & Noble. Bought a copy of the novel The Prestige and a magazine. Then went over to HyVee and bought a Coke and a candybar.
9. Stopped at BP to buy gas and left Council Bluffs for the drive home.
10. The drive was a pain. I think that's why I'm tired. There were so many people heading toward Omaha and I got tired of the glare of the headlights. I think that's why my eyes are dry now.
11. Got home around 9:30 pm.
12. Now here I am.... typing away at this. I still have email to read, but I think I may just space off the rest of it. I wanna go up to my room and play Tales of Phantasia.

My cat is being a big pain in the butt right now. She's on the table next to me!!! She is actually laying on the power thing for my laptop!!! I'm gonna have to get the canned air to get the cat hair out of the keyboard. *sigh*

It's Monday! I'm at work. I'm now bored. It was busy for a while, but now the construction guys are here and it's quiet.

I really don't know what to say tonight. My brain cell is not wanting to do anything. So... I guess I'll let it slide.

   Better watch out... I'm dangerous!!!

Well, sort of. I suppose it could be dangerous when I'm this bored. Yeah...Sunday night at work. 6:05 pm. Nothing is going on and I'm almost bored out of my skull. Inside of my skull, the voices are screaming, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!!!!!" because I'm working with the little psycho (again... as usual) and he's babbling non-stop (again... as usual).

Thankfully, he's just left on a run to the BN, so I'll have a little peace for a while. I think a couple other guys are going to need a ride pretty soon. Yippee!!!!

Let's see... what did I do on Saturday? Umm... my brother & I went to see The Prestige. It was pretty good! We disagreed about something with the ending, but I still think there's another one of the one guy running around. I won't tell you anymore about the movie in case you want to go see it. At the beginning of the movie I made a comment about the two main characters... later, my brother said the exact same thing... It's Batman vs Wolverine!!!! Yeah... the main characters were played by Christian Bale (Batman) and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine). Then we got thinking... who would win a fight, Batman or Wolverine. My money's on Wolverine, but my brother says Batman would win by enclosing Wolverine in something that he wouldn't be able to get out of. I'm sorry... I gotta disagree. Wolverine would slice through Batman like crazy. Plus that healing factor would kick in and that would be the end of that.

Oh, man... what a dull life I lead if I'm having a serious conversation about a fight between comic book characters....
