   Hot lava!

Saturday. At work. Weird schedule. Working from 2 to 10. It was busy earlier and now it's kinda dead. It's not quite 8 pm right now.

It's been one of those weekends where I haven't touched my own laptop at all. I think Wednesday is the last time I pulled it out and fired it up. Busy busy busy....

Other excitement in my life? Hmmm... nothing much right now. Just the normal... On Thursday I came to town early so I could go shopping before work. All I bought was a tube of toothpaste and a little Japanese dictionary to stick in my purse. Whee. No manga grabbed my attention at all. Nothing. I looked for FMA vol 4 on DVD. Found it at FYE for $25!!!! That's outrageous!!! All their anime DVDs are overpriced like that. Guess I won't be buying anything there beyond CDs.

My train of thought just derailed. So, I'm gonna go now.

Wednesday night. Not quite Thursday.

Yep... another day off! Not as nice outside as Monday, but I did actually go out for a walk this afternoon. That was in the middle of my four loads of laundry. How can one person generate that much laundry in a week?!?!?!?!

Well, I watched My Neighbor Totoro last night. I found it in our little bitty library on DVD. It's such a cute movie!!! I like the little bitty white totoro. I wanna figure out how to make one. I just have another plushie to make one of these years....

One of these days I have to get my arse in gear and start working on my story again. I think I have another part to post. I just don't remember....

   Mood: Hyper and bored at the same time!

It's not quite Tuesday night here. I am mildly bored, yet hyper feeling. Really odd. I also have the munchies, but don't have what I want to eat. O_o

Monday was nice. It was a day off for me. I went through some stuff from upstairs and tried to organize it. It didn't help the mess any....

I also did some updating of software on my laptop here. Now maybe I can get my act together and work on trying to learn Java programming again. I also did a little research on the hardware requirements of our old scanner and found out that it can be installed on my old Windows 95 computer! Now the trick will be to get the pictures off that machine once scanned and onto this laptop. The Windows 95 beast doesn't have a USB port and this doesn't have a floppy drive! I will have to put the image on a disk and take it to the computer upstairs and put it onto one of my flash drives so I can put it on this laptop! Whee!!!!!

Well, I think I may go read some more FMA or something. I'm seriously obsessed with that one right now. Either read FMA or attach the scanner to the Win95 beast..... Hmmm.... FMA seems to be winning that contest.

It's October. It doesn't feel like October, but it is. What has happened to this year? It's down to the last three months now. Sheesh... time sure flies when you don't know what you're doing, eh?

   Is it 11 pm yet?

Unfortunately, it's only 6:10 pm right now. I still have almost 5 hours to go before my shift is over. This day is dragging beyond belief. I am at work, of course. I feel like crap and I'm working with the little psycho. It's a busy weekend of course. We were a little overbooked, but I have figured things out pretty much, so hopefully things will be all right in the long run.

I watched the FMA movie last night. It was very good. I wasn't sure of some stuff because I haven't seen beyond the 12th episode. I only have the first three DVDs for the series! But, I do have some magazines that filled me in on parts that I missed, so I didn't lose track of what's going on. I also liked that some of the back story was explained.

Maybe now I'll stop dreaming I'm Ed!!!!! I had another one the other night! I'd rather be dreaming about Ed. You know what I mean?

I think I'm slightly obsessed with FMA right now.....

   All good things come to an end...

...and so do days off. It's about 11:10 pm on Thursday right now. I had the day off. It was a glorious day off. I did laundry, as I tend to do on my days off, and I went to SUX with my brother and ran around for a while.

Other excitement for the day: I disconnected the scanner from the computer upstairs. My brother upgraded it from Windows ME to Windows XP and the scanner isn't supported by XP. *sigh* That means, no scanning until we get a cord and the drivers for the other printer/scanner thing. I could hook up the old scanner to Olivia, the Windows 95 beast, but there's nowhere to set the scanner! Plus... I don't think Olivia can handle the software I use to manipulate pictures. Poor Olivia... she's just a thing to play games on.

Oh... I seem to be completely obsessed with FMA right now. I actually had a dream the other night in which I was Ed. O_o It was really odd. I was on a boat with Al and there was this other boat being towed behind and Hohenheim was on or in that one. Somehow the boat being towed started to sink and I started to freak out. Al had to hold onto me or I would've fallen overboard. It was a bizarre dream... that's about all I can really remember of it.

So... now I've dreamed that I was Ed. I think I dreamed I was Kenshin one other time. I know I dreamed that InuYasha stole my car. That was a really funny one.

Oh yeah!! When I went to SUX with my brother, we went to the mall. As we were walking past one of the jewelry stores, my brother pointed out a person sitting at the one counter... I think it may have been female, but my brother said it was InuYasha. The hair was white, long & fluffy! I didn't see any dog ears sticking out the top of the hair, so it could have been Sesshomaru.

   Is it time to go home yet?

Wednesday night. Work. Head hurts from last night's cigarette smoke coming from the bar. I'm hungry, but haven't had the energy to get to my lunch.

I'm a bit whiney tonight. I think I'll spare you all the misery of life and leave you with this happy thought: I was naughty and bought the FMA movie!!! I haven't even seen the entire series yet!

   I've not even been here three hours and already I'm bored.

Work. Tuesday. Dead.

I'd try to turn that into a haiku, but it just ain't gonna happen.

Yesterday was nuts at work. Rather busy. I didn't have a chance to do anything on the computer that didn't have anything to do with anything but work. Did that make sense?

The little psycho is driving me nuts. He just won't shut up. He just read the paper and had to tell me about every article that he read.

Well... just had a mini-run of people come in. I forgot what I was gonna say.

I'm considering changing my theme. Don't hold your breath for it to happen any time soon. It took me a month to get this one going!

Now I'm gonna go find something to eat. Maybe work at my CSS book for a while. Hahahaha!

Dang! It happened again! I get busy and forget what I was doing! Sheeesh!

   Yahhhhh!!!

Sunday evening. Just past 7:00 pm. I haven't eaten yet. I suppose I could do that. I had a bit of a stomachache before, but now am kinda hungry.

Yesterday was so much fun!!! I didn't have to work and spent the day running around with my brother! We went to see the movie Flyboys. It was really good. I held my breath during some of the flying scenes. Those airplanes were so cool! Then we went to a rock & gem show. I got some really nifty stuff there, too. I'll have to take pictures of them so you can see what I got. Then we went to a preseason hockey game. The Musketeers lost, but it doesn't matter because it's preseason!!! Wahahaha!!!!! I had fun. Ate some ice cream there and ended up with cold hands. The odd thing was the four young Mexicans sitting in front of us. It was really weird to hear Spanish at a hockey game! I was happy that I didn't have a drink in the cup holder because the girl in front of me had long curly hair and she was flipping it all the time. It would've been gross to get hair in my drink! I didn't get any in my ice cream... thank god.

Well, now I'm at work and am a little bored, but I did get something accomplished! I got my checkbook balanced! Woohoo!!! First time in about 6 years or so. Ah well, I suppose I should go eat and finish my email reading.

   Don't crush that dwarf, hand me the pliers!

Okay....virtual quarter to anyone that can identify the origin of my subject line.

Anyhoo... 'tis Friday. Whee. I'm at work. I'm not working with the little psycho. Huzzah! I ended up working last night (also without the little psycho). The guy that was scheduled to work, couldn't. So I thought about it for a bit... mainly to try to remember who was going to be working with me... then said I'd do it. Heck, eight & a half hours of overtime. Sweet!

Now I'm slightly bored. It's kind of quiet for a Friday night. I have tomorrow off!!!! Woohoo!!! I had to ask to get a Saturday off. There's a movie my brother has to see and a hockey game I have to see. Yeah!!! I don't know what else we're going to do, but we'll come up with something. We usually do.

Well, now. I think I'm gonna find something else to do that may or may not involve this computer.
