Such a nice day.
Yeppers! Wednesday was a nice day, even if it started off with the cat sitting outside my bedroom door meowing at the top of her lungs. That wasn't completely a bad thing because I needed to get up anyways. My Dad had a doctor's appointment and I had to drive him there. Mom, Dad & I ran around for a good chunk of the day. We went to Hobby Lobby and Mom & I looked through a bunch of clearance stuff. I found a couple things for way cheap: a software CD of wild animal charts for counted cross stitch and a chart for a picture of a kimono. Cool stuff.
Not much else went on other than that. I need to do laundry as usual on Thursday. I should go finish reading my email. Oh! I actually visited sites of all that updated on Wednesday. Woohoo!!! First time in ages. Sorry for not being around very often, but real life is getting in the way as usual.
Oh... I want the FMA movie! Even though I'm not even close to the end of the series yet with my DVDs, I want it!!! I'd hold my breath until I turned blue, but then I wouldn't be able to watch the DVD I got going right now.

Lack of enthusiasm.... day 3
Yes...yet another day where my enthusiasm for just about everything is virtually nonexistant. The big excitement for today was sneezing really hard (and rather sloppily into my hand... ieu.) and having my brain cell get bounced around my skull in such a way that it's not recovered. That was this morning around 11:00. It's now 9:00 at night. I've been fairly spacey all day. Whee!!!
Good thing about today... I have tomorrow & Thursday off! I've got to drive around with my parents tomorrow. Dad's got a doctor's appointment. Their car is getting the brakes fixed, otherwise I'd be spending the day lazing around as much as possible!
Work is so much quieter now that the sales group has checked out. Some of their stuff is still here. We put it all in the little meeting room so the rooms would be available for renting out again. That group was the biggest headache ever. I hope never to have to deal with something like that again. They were loud, rude and inconsiderate.
Well, I think I'm going to shut this thing down now. I was going to make an attempt at going through my CSS book, but due to the state of my brain cell, I'm going to leave it alone again. At least I pulled the book out of my backpack tonight. That's a lot more than I did last night.
Tomorrow night I hope to do a little more in the way of visiting sites and such, as I don't have to work at all!!!! Yahooo!!!!

Yet another exciting day in my thrill-a-minute life.
Monday. Work. Cold outside compared to what it had been. Almost bored out of my skull. I should quit goofing off on this computer and do some actual work on the hotel computers.
I brought my CSS book to try that again, but really don't feel like doing anything with it. Maybe I should do some work....
Oh man.... This is so fricking boring....

Boredom... headache.... work....
Why can't these things leave me alone?!?!?!
Anyhoo...It's Sunday. I'm working. I'm bored. I'm hungry. And, yes, I have a headache again. The weather changed and my sinuses are feeling pretty nasty from it. Couple that with working with the little psycho again, and things are completely out of hand.
I'm waiting for a pizza to arrive. It's not getting here soon enough. I order PapaJohn's because we get a discount here at the front desk. Woohoo!!!
A matter of clarification: I didn't go to the Nickelback concert on Friday night. I just mentioned it because we had many concert goers staying here. They were a bit rowdy after I was off work for the night.
Now... what should I do? I'm attempting to download something. Let's see if the wireless will let me do more than one thing. Our wireless provider is stupid. They won't let people download because it "takes up bandwidth and will slow down the connection speed for everyone else." What a bunch of crap! I'm connected at 54 MBps... the speed is so fast that a little slowdown is hardly noticeable!
Well, I think I'm going to go read something or another now. Happy week. Bwahahahaha!!!

Gads... so dull...
Saturday, 5:06 pm. Been at work an hour and it's already boring beyond belief. Last night was busy. Real busy. Nickelback was in concert down the road and we were full. I heard it was a little wild after I was done for the night. I'm glad I wasn't here. *insert wicked grin here*
Well, not much else on my mind, so I go now.

No...... I don't wanna!!!!
My second day off, Thursday, is coming to an end. I don't want it to end. I don't want to go back to the hotel tomorrow!!!! Well, at least I have to deal with the little psycho for only four hours. Yay.
*^*^*^*^*^*
I did my laundry today. Big whoop. I do it every week. However, after that was over, my brother and I went to a movie. We saw The Illusionist. It was really good and had the requisite happy ending. Then we went to Culver's for burgers and wandered around Walmart. I bought mints. Yum. Then home again. Mom & Dad were watching Charlie & the Chocolate Factory so I watched that out with them.
So, now it's about 20 minutes to midnight and I'm playing around here online and watching Law & Order: SVU reruns on USA. My cat is on the couch leaning against pillows and looking grumpy. It's actually kind of cute. Now she's falling asleep. *sigh* I should consider that, too. However, I think I'm gonna probably going to play around here a little bit more and maybe do some writing. If I wasn't on the dialup, I'd go after some manga or something here.... stupid dialup...

Whee!!!! Such a nice day.
I know the thing up there says Thursday, but Wendesday is winding down for me. I had a great day off. *sigh* I got out of bed rather later than I had expected to... around 10:30 or so. *giggle* I ate breakfast and bathed quick so I could go to town with my Mom. Yep, just my Mom & me. It was fun. We went to Target for something for her to put fabric and yarn in. Then to Applebee's for lunch. YUM!!! Then we went to Hobby Lobby and wandered around there for a while. I looked for something to put my pencils into, but didn't find anything. Then we went to the mall and looked for shoes for Mom, but she didn't find any. I did find a pair of slip-on clog like shoes for $10. They're very much like my sandals! Yay! Then we went and got some groceries and came home. It was so much fun that we're gonna do it again!!!
*^*^*^*^*^*
Sorry I wasn't on at all for Tuesday, but work was really not a pleasant experience. Once I got home, I didn't even bother with the internet. I played around with my downloaded music and a couple CDs. Whee! Now I have something new to listen to in the car.
That group that's in the hotel is terrible and the source of my main problem at work. So many problems caused by them led to a very unpleasant evening. I won't go into detail here, but just suffice it to say, they're just another reason why I really don't want to have a career in hospitality.
*^*^*^*^*^*
Well, now that I've bored you with my past two days, I will be off and finish my email. Yippee!!!

Work sucks, but you already know that!
Tuesday... 5:30 pm. I wish I could go home now. The psycho is annoying as usual. There's a big group of "salespeople" in. They're a bunch of snotty little brats.
I'm hungry. A pizza guy just walked by & I have ham & cheese in the fridge. *sigh*
I'm happy that I have two days off starting tomorrow. I need them. I am ready to take the psycho's head off with a dull pair of scissors.

Reflections on five years gone.
Today is the fifth anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. So much has gone on since then. I hope everyone has taken time out to reflect on what happened and where the world has gone since then.
Here's a recap of the past five September 11's in my life:
September 11, 2001: I was at the mall working when this all went down. I was back after my vacation and the manager went on her vacation, leaving me a mess to deal with. The mall closed at 10:30 that morning. I went home and got online to see what the news was there. It was a very sad, quiet day.
September 11, 2002: I was still working at the mall, but ended up with the day off. I won't go to a mall on September 11th anymore. I just don't want to see the day turned into some sort of excuse to have a sale.
September 11, 2003: I was working doing tech support down in Omaha. I had to work that day. I know I didn't really want to go to work, but I wore my black turtleneck and black pants and my Stone. The Stone is a world-wide Internet community that I've been part of since 2000 or so. I like to show that I'm not just an American, but a citizen of the world.
September 11, 2004: I was unemployed but still in Council Bluffs. I also avoided the mall as usual. I spent the day as I normally did then. Either at the library or in class. Again...wore my Stone.
September 11, 2005: I was probably working here at the motel. Unfortunately, I have to wear a rather hideous polo shirt for work and can't do the black. I guess I was pretty low-key for the day.
And that brings us to today, September 11, 2006: Again, I'm at work at the motel. Recalling what I was doing that day five years ago. I read the USA Today and had a little twinge when I saw the picture of the one jet by the World Trade Center. I guess I'll always feel that way. So... like I said before, I hope you all are doing something to remember such a tragic day in history, but I also hope you're doing something to make this world a better place in the future.
*^*^*^*^*
And now... comments on comments. I haven't done that for a while.
Mamma Vash: So...what are you knitting? I don't knit because it drives my Mom nuts. She's a "professional" knitter and can't stand to watch me knit.
mewmewichigo: I agree. I think the boss has it in for me, too. It's also a case of being understaffed right now.
Caprice: No, the little psycho isn't Kenshin. He'd be the little hottie! However, it would be nice to have Kenshin around (with or without pants ^^) to see how long it would take him to beat down the little psycho. Kenshin's vow of no killing would be sorely tested by this guy! And, yes, the headache ended... around 11 pm... when I got off work. Welcome back, I missed you!
SunFallE: "Mod Team"... is that anything like "Mod Squad"? As for the headache... it was a combination of things: rain, lack of food, & the little psycho. Mostly the lack of food... and the rain... and the little psycho. "Turn off psycho button"... heh heh heh...
*^*^*^*^*
Well, that about does it for me. I'm hoping to see my egg drop soup and crab rangoon here pretty soon. I'm hungry!!! I'll get the laptop out in a little while...

My head... agggh.... my head....
Sunday. 6:06 pm. Work. Bored. Tired. Headachy.
It's rainy today. I think that's why I have a headache. That, and day number 3 of the 5 in a row with the little psycho. It's very quiet in here, so I started up music on my computer. All he did was laugh at whatever I was playing, so I shut down the music when he was gone. He hasn't shut up at all.
I've been trying to do some work on my webpages, but my concentration is shot with the headache and the psycho babbling away.
I think I'm going to punch the magic Add Post button here and give the computer a break. And the stupid wireless is being a pain in the butt.
