   Ermmm....

Sunday night...11:00 pm. I'm mildly bored as usual.I should do some typing on my story. Got some ready for posting again. I should also work on getting the story site back up and running properly. I have an index page set up to cover different things. Oh, the fun one can have with Dreamweaver and setting up tables!

Okay...enough sarcasm.

Work Saturday night was all right. Rather full again. We had 2 wedding parties in the hotel, but only one of the receptions was actually there. There was also a gazillion bikers on their way to Sturgis for the Motor Rally. Woohoo!!! Bikers!!

Not much happened today. Didn't have to work. Yay!

   Yaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Anyhoo... how was your Friday? Mine was great. I didn't have to work. It was nice outside. We opened up the doors and a window on the house in the evening. They're still open. So nice!!! Not hot! Well, it was a bit toasty in the afternoon, but cooled off nicely.

Now I'm waiting for the minutes to be added to my cell phone. It's been a big pain in the arse adding minutes lately. I think the past three times I've had to add airtime, something's gone awry. So... here I sit with my cellphone saying "Processing. Please wait for you units." *sigh*

Ooh... Futurama on TBS! Cool!

   Gabba gabba hey!

Well, I survived Thursday at work. I didn't have to work with the psychotic little man! Yay! It wasn't too bad at all. Except for the guy screaming his head off about the room he got. *sigh*

I felt like crap when I got up Thursday. My sinuses and ear were killing me and I had to make a great effort to force myself to eat breakfast. After I ate breakfast, I read the first section of the newspaper and fell asleep in the recliner for 45 minutes! I still don't quite know how I managed to drive the 28.6 miles to work without killing myself or other people in a car wreck.

My cat is doing better. She's lying on the floor nearby and purring so hard she's vibrating! She's such a goof! All this past week she's been so sick, but still so affectionate. Although she's doing better, we're still keeping an eye on her and looking out for barf. I took pictures of her yesterday being close. Very close... her head is on my foot in one picture! If I get around to it, I'll put them up so you can see my affectionate hairball. I just don't feel like it right now. :P

It's now 12:14 am.... I think I'll finish off my glass of lemonade and try to find something entertaining to do. Whee. Maybe sleep. That's always entertaining!

   WTF?!?!?!

Wednesday is over and work was there. The idiot of the night was the lady that called about rates, and when I told her what the rate was, she got all huffy and said her daughter was just there and got a special rate (about half the regular rate). I said it was a weekly rate and she went on about how her daughter stayed just one night. I said the rate had to be set up by our sales manager and asked what her daughter's name was. I wanted to look up the file and see why she had that low rate. The lady didn't know her daughter's last name. ... O_O How the hell can you not know your own daughter's last name?!?!?!?! Her answer was, "I don't know. It starts with a P." OMFG, what an idiot!

I didn't have to dent the psychotic little man at all. He kept himself pretty busy all night.

Well, I'm hungry. It's quarter past midnight and I'm hungry. Must find munchy stuff.... oooh... pretzels!!!

   Wheee!!!!

Wednesday afternoon. I gotta work with the little psychotic man tonight. I hope I don't have to seriously dent him.

So far so good with the cat today. My brother managed to get one of the pills down her and she didn't spit it out!!! She spat out three of them yesterday. *argh* My brother also got some special food from the vet this morning. I've given her a little bit a couple times and so far it's not come back up. *crosses fingers* Right now she's lying on the floor next to me snoozing.

Oh! Last night when I said she was being a pain in the arse, it wasn't because of the barfing. It was because she was sitting on the table almost on my laptop!! She outweighs the laptop by about 10 pounds!!! Then when I got up after shutting down, she followed me around and wanted to sit on my lap. Pain in the butt kitty!!! But I love her dearly and will be VERY upset if anything happens. She's 14 years old, so I'm rather attached to her. As is everyone else in this household.

Well, I still have some email to get through, so I'll go for now. Happy Wednesday, peoples!

   Gomen...

Work last night sucked. There's so much crap going on that I could rant for hours about it. I just don't have the energy to do so.

My cat isn't doing any better. She shows interest in food, but nothing stays down. It's so frustrating.

That's all I have to say right now. I have tonight off, but I don't know if I'll be visiting sites or not.

I've lost the ability to type, so please forgive any typose you see here. I'm giving up on trying to gorrect them all. See? It's pointless.

I think the heat has gone and done further damage to my already truamatized brian cell. Umm... that should be "brain" and not "brian." Who's brian? Odd...

Well, I had to work with the little psycho last night. He can be so annoying. I have a feeling that Sundays will now be spent working with him. Ugh. I think damage may have been done to the brain cell while doing the shift change last night, too. It took me 45 mintues to get the drawer to the proper amount of cash in it. Between interruptions of poeple coming in and the phone and my own stupidity when it comes to numbers.... Ugh.... agiin.

I better stop typeing now and contineu reading my email and MegaTokyo. This is getting bad.

Well, work Saturday night was hectic. Very busy. Very hot. Lots of calls about the A/C not working. Not fun at all. I feel sorry for my brother working tonight. He doesn't usually work Saturday nights, but the other guy needed the weekend off. Anyhoo... not a lot of fun there.

My cat is still not well. She's still not keeping food down and the pills seem to be making her barf now. *sigh* She did greet me at the door when I got home and made noises at me in the kitchen after that. Now she's lying across the power cord for my laptop. My brother said she was playful earlier in the evening, but still barfed up what she ate. *sigh* It's got us so frustrated. Thanks for all the well wishes again.

So now it's almost 2:00 in the morning. I'm sitting here in the dining room looking across the table at the TV. I'm watching wrestling. Rey Mysterio is going against King Booker for the championship. It's a repeat of what went on Monday night. Since I don't know what happened Monday, it's new to me. This is the first time I've seen Booker wrestle.... O_o

Why have I gotten into watching wrestling again? I haven't been into this in about 15 years....

   Mood: mentally exhausted (warning: this is a barfy post)

Well, another day off. Another day of fretting about my cat. I mentioned that she was rather barfy yesterday. Well, last night I picked up her food dish before I went to bed around 2 am, leaving just her water dish down for her. At 4:30, she barfed up water. *argh* Nothing was staying down. I thought she was doing better this morning, but around 1:00 pm, she barfed again. *sigh*

I had to run up to the Ice Cream Capital of the World to get Onigiri legal for another year, so I did that around 1:30 and got home around 3:30 and started to discuss what to do about her with my brother. We called the veterinarian in SUX and were able to squeeze her in before they closed. She got a shot of stuff and some pills and we're to keep an eye on her for a couple days.

This isn't the first time we've had to go through this with her. It happened several years ago and I was in tears because of it. We took her to that vet over in SUX and she was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disorder, which basically means she's got really sensitive digestion. She's 14 years old, and hasn't had a big problem for about 6 years. It just cropped up again yesterday. We may have to change food again. *sigh*

She's doing some better since she got that shot and had one of her pills. She's still a little out of it, but I'd be a bit out of it if I'd been barfing everything I've eaten.

Sorry for that. I didn't mean to be so disgusting, but a lot of you had expressed concern for my cat and me. Thanks for all the well wishes.

I was supposed to go to a going away party tonight at work. After a trip to LeMars and SUX in 100 degree weather, I decided not to go. I'll have to apologize to the girls for not being there, but I think a medical emergency with my cat is a good enough excuse.

I did get that program to work. It's gonna be nice having something similar to MS Office until I actually own MS Office!
