Blrrrgle.

Well, my car started finally. Loose battery cable. Hooray. Had a little problem with the trunk not wanting to latch also. Double hooray. Got that all taken care of this afternoon. Triple hooray.

As for the psychotic little idiot I work with... I have spoken to the boss about it. She's spoken to him about it. She may as well be talking to a wall. The wall will pay more attention and will retain what she has told it. His main problem is that he is ever so slightly brain-damaged. He also has the delusion that because he's been there "longer than everybody" (he hasn't), he doesn't have to do anything if he doesn't want to. Two words to that one: BULL SH*T! He's got to earn his pay just like everyone else. He's not trained to check people in, so he should not be allowed behind the counter. But in his own little world, he can do as he pleases. As for doing things that can get him fired, he does one thing that is grounds for immediate dismissal. I'm not sure if the boss is aware of it, but she is pretty much aware of the fact that he has a tendency to sue employers that fire him. I enjoy my new responsibilities at work and don't need his input on any of it, but there are days that I want to quit and will say it's all because of him.

Now, you're probably wondering why I'm able to surf online and read personal email at work, aren't you? I work the front desk in a motel. If I have all my other work done, and no one is checking in (or out), I can do personal things. I've tried to study my Japanese, but the psycho has a tendency to talk constantly about nothing at all and it gets hard to concentrate on anything but painful ways to make him shut up.

Well... I think my headache is starting to get the best of me here. That and the fact that Windows wants to restart because of some update...

   Meh.

This is a post of all sorts of things. I have a few things to get off my chest.

1. Cold weather sucks. It was incredibly windy and slightly snowy last night, so I got stuck at work overnight because I wasn't about to attempt to drive home with 30 to 40 mile an hour winds and blowing snow. Then this morning when I was about to drive home, my car wouldn't start. My mom had to come and get me, so I could spend my day off at home doing laundry and so on. I also don't think that we reached a positive number for the temperature today.

2. I also need to apologize for not posting and visiting. I have been doing things like that at work whenever possible once I finish off the paperwork and such that I usually do each time I work. Then I will go online and read my own email and visit sites. However, as of late, the little psychotic bitter man I work with had gotten it into his head that he doesn't need to do any of his work and can sit behind the counter and read his email. He has been told several times that he is not to be behind the desk because he is not trained to check people in or anything of that nature. But he is of the opinion that because he's been there "longer than everybody" he doesn't need to do anything if he doesn't want to. He has not been there longer than everybody. Nor is he able to get away with doing nothing. So... I have decided to try to avoid my own personal online ramblings for a while to see if he gets the hint. Unfortunately, I don't truly believe that it is going to work. It would be easier to tell the wind to stop blowing.

3. There was something else on my mind, but it has completely left me by now, so I won't continue to bore any of you that may actually be reading this.

   Can't wait....

...for the skin I ordered for my iPod. I'm tired of cleaning fingerprints off the shiny silver-ness of the back side.

Day off today (Thursday). Did very little of importance. Crocheted a couple arms for a doll. Then I realized I need to get some more supplies for her. *sigh* Guess I'll have to go to Hobby bLobby one of these days. Will have to resist the Copics section.

   Weather!!!!

It snowed at us last night. But first it had to rain and freezing rain at us. Ice is not fun. Neither is about 3 or 4 inches of wet, heavy snow.

Guess who had to shovel the front walk this morning?

   Decorations!!!!!!

Mom, Dad & I got the Christmas tree and decorations up today. Even listened to a lot of Christmas music. It was fun. My brother was a poop and didn't help out. His loss! XD

Thanks for all the well-wishing with my new iPod. I had fun with it the first night after I loaded it by laying in bed with the covers up to my chin... and watching TV shows and cartoons I had downloaded. Whee!!

   Wow...

Has it really been almost a week since I've been here? Where does the time go?

I guess that being a little busy at work early last week does make a difference in how much time I spend doing other things. Over the holiday and weekend, it was a little on the boring side at work. But things should be picking up again during the week.

Well, I did finally finish another picture today/Sunday. It's the second one in a week! Yikes! What's come over me? Two pictures?!?! Well... that's not entirely true that they were both done in a week. The first one took about two weeks to finish.

I haven't decided whether to put them up here yet. I do have them over on my deviantArt site, though. Who knows? Maybe by the end of my internet wanderings I'll have posted them here. I haven't posted any art here in ages!

Well... I think I will continue wandering about.

Happyness is a new winter coat!

Yep. Got a new winter coat today. It's orange and grey. I wanted a green or purple one, but those didn't fit me, so I had to go to the men's department for a coat again. *sigh* That's the price one pays for having broad shoulders, long arms and a fat body. *sigh* I really should try to lose weight.

I also got MySims for my DS. It's a trip. I've got a couple characters going in it. One looks like Ed from FMA! Haha!!

Well...that's about it for me tonight. Hope all of you in the US have a great Thanksgiving. Don't eat too much!!

Progress?

I finally finished a picture today. It only took me two weeks to get anywhere on it! Arrgh. I want to get a whole bunch of pictures done soon, but need to be able to work uninterrupted for a couple hours to get them done. *pounds head on table*
