   Weather suitable for sleeping

Yes, it's grey and rainy again. I'm getting a little tired of it.

Hmm... it's only 20 minutes after 1:00 and my brother is awake!!! He was going to mow the lawn, but it just rained, so that won't happen. I think I'll tell him to go back to bed.

Well, since it's Monday, I have to work as usual. I'm not taking the laptop with me tonight, 'cuz it's usually rather busy on Mondays. Sorry... won't be visiting sites then. *sigh*

I gotta go find something to eat. My stomach just growled at me.

   Stares off into space....

Sunday. Late morning. Enthusiasm circuits have not kicked in yet. I don't wanna go to work, but that's normal. I want a "normal" work schedule!!! *whine*

Well, my team just bowed out of the NHL playoffs. *sigh* My yearly obsession with the Stanley Cup Playoffs is in full swing. I was pulling for the Ottawa Senators, but they lost their fourth game last night to Buffalo. Now I gotta figure out who to cheer for. Maybe Edmonton... it's the only Canadian team left in the playoffs right now.

Well, it's noon now. I suppose I can find something to eat. I'm not particularly hungry, but food is a good idea.

   Nothing.... nothing at all.

Well, here it is, Saturday. I have no plans except to go to work. Big Whoop. If it's going to be like a typical Saturday, it will be busy with a wedding or something. Hopefully, there will be a lot of driving to do. That's not nice of me... wanting to leave poor April alone at the desk.

Well, since I won't be taking the computer to work tonight, maybe I'll get somewhere on the stuff I need to draw for the last part of my new theme. Yeah... maybe that will happen!!

   It's turned down so low that deaf people can't even hear it!

Friday afternoon. 2-ish. Not much going on here. There's been a rabbit sitting by the tree in our side yard all day. It's really kind of cute. All fluffy and stuff. It's not dead, if that crossed anyone's mind. It's changed positions a couple times, but stays by the tree.

I did find out more about the shooting up in that other town. The town was Le Mars. I forgot to mention that yesterday. It's a sad occasion. It was a family of four that was found dead in their house. It seems to be a murder/suicide, because the doors had to be forced open as they were barricaded with furniture from the inside. Nothing has been said as to why it happened. But there's a family gone from Le Mars now. The kids were in high school. So sad....

I suppose I should go read more email. My brother's awake now and will probably want to go to Sioux City in a bit. I'll be back to visit tonight.

   Thursday.... windy!!!

It's windy out again!! I don't like windy!!!! It's also kinda cold out. But not as cold as it is in Wisconsin & Minnesota. I heard they could be getting snow in northern parts of those states. Yow!!!

Well, something exciting did happen yesterday in a town north of here. I heard on the news that "several" people were found shot in a house up there. There weren't any details about it beyond that much on the 10:00 news last night, and the paper didn't have anything about it at all. I'm gonna have to watch the news again tonight to find out more about it.

   Finally!!!

It's Wednesday! I don't have to work again until Saturday!!!! I just wish I knew what I'm going to do with myself for three days. Well, two and a half now... it's almost 1:00 pm. Hee hee.

Well, I got my new avatar mostly done yesterday. I just need to get the drawing part done, scanned in, cleaned up, and added to the rest of it. I suppose I could stop playing around on the computer and do the drawing part.

*wipes tears of laughter away* But seriously, I should try to find the perfect background image now. Then get the drawing parts done for both it and the avatar.

I didn't realize putting up a theme could take so much effort.

Work last night was full of bullshit. Sorry for the language, but that's the best way to put it. I think the owners got on the manager's case about something and she got on ours. I got written up for not doing something! Makes sense somewhere. But, like I said, it's bullshit. I don't really care for working there in the first place, but it's a job. I've seen it as a temporary position from the moment I started to work there. I didn't put myself in debt up to my eyeballs to learn web design just to earn slightly more than minimum wage driving a van around for a motel! However, driving the van is the only part I really enjoy about the job. It gets me out of the motel for a little while at a time!!!!!

Enough whining about work. But that wasn't really whining... or bitching. It was just a few comments on how I really feel about the place. My brother is in contact with one of the old managers and told him that I had the proper "I don't give a shit. I hate this place" attitude after only a month on the job. I found that rather funny.

Well, the little clock here in the dining room just struck noon. (It hasn't been set for Daylight Savings Time!!!) That means I should find something to eat. I gotta start getting up earlier than 10:00!!!!

   Umm....

Tuesday afternoon. I'm not going to go in to work early today!!! I just don't feel like it. I'm gonna stay here until I have to get ready for work. So there!

I suppose I could work on my new theme some more. I need to get the avatar and background pictures done, but there's some hand drawing that will need to be done for parts of both of those. *sighs and then smacks self in forehead* D'oh! I also should work on that cat for my sister!!!!!!

Like I said yesterday, there's a couple new pieces of art up. Only one's been voted on so far. *sigh* I did realize that I couldn't type yesterday and there was a typo in the description of one picture. Oops. It's been corrected now.

So. I will leave you now. Gotta finish up the email reading. Then maybe something will be done for the theme. Whee!

   Oww.....

Well, it's not quite 1:00 pm now. Monday afternoon. I gotta work again tonight. *sigh* Just tonight and tomorrow left and then I get a day or three off!! Yay!!!

My sinuses are stuffy and achy today. It's a combination of things: allergies and the weather. It's supposed to be thunderboomy tonight. Wheee!

Well, I finished that one picture I had started the other day. It's a rare one... there's a background!!! Sorta. Well, I thought Hikaru needed to be walking somewhere, so I put in some abstract trees and grass behind him. The picture is a follow-up to the one titled "The Long Sleep." Some day I'll get to writing the stories behind those two pictures, but there's a lot of stuff that needs to get written before those!

The other picture is a pen doodle from work. I got those new art pens and was trying them out. It's another of my favorite people to draw like that.... Kenshin!!! He's so easy to draw sometimes. And if you're wondering about his ponytail, I just say the tie loosened a little bit and it's hanging a bit lower than usual. ;P

So... go ahead and check out the new pictures... or not. Whatever. It's totally up to you what you do. *cheeky grin*

Well, the DQ Blizzard last night was Georgia Mud Fudge. Yummy! And now I'm going to go to the post office, and then to town a little early so I can squander my tip money from last night. I got $20 from a guy for picking him & his friend up at the casino and taking them to the restaurant across the street from the hotel!!! They must've hit it big at the casino.

Sunday evening, work, slightly bored.

I got some neat art pens the other day. The brand name is Nexus and they write really cool. I have a picture I did last night with one of them. I was gonna scan and post it today, but my brother decided we needed to go to a movie. It didn't get scanned. Neither did the other picture I did last night. But that one's not completely done yet, so it doesn't really matter yet. I think I may go color that one here pretty soon. I have a few colored pencils with me. They'll probably be up tomorrow morning sometime.

The new theme is still under construction, so bear with me please!

   Glad to be of service!

Saturday afternoon, 1-ish.

Yeah, I'm posting before I need to go to work. Actually, I'm considering going to town a bit early to find a different case for my Kenshin DVDs. The one they came in is hard to get the disks off the little things and one has cracked slightly by the hole. Grrr!!!

Work is going to be busy tonight. I hope I get to drive around a lot. Wait, that's not nice of me. 'Cause if I drive around a lot, poor April will be stuck at the desk alone. Well, if I have to drive a lot, I'll drive a lot. That's just the way it is.

I think I may head out here shortly. Gotta find that case thingy. But first... another doodle from one night at work! Boredom sets in so easily sometimes when waiting for railroaders.
