So, how's everyone tonight? It's one of my three days off, so I spent it doing nothing important. I was going to do laundry, but didn't even do that. I read volume one of Death Note. That's gonna be a fun one to keep reading! It was my brother's copy. Then, this evening, after I got online and read all my email, I was nosing around a fun website for a couple hours. Whee!!! It's The Japanese Page.

Well, somewhere along the line, Cartoon Network rearranged the Adult Swim schedule. I caught most of S-CRY-ed. Didn't have a clue as to what's going on. Then the episode of Lupin III that was on I've seen at least three times before last night. I still find it hard to believe that Miyazaki was involved with that show. Shows you how far anime has come. *sigh* I was so disappointed there was no FMA to watch. Oh well.... I do have my two DVDs.

I am so tired. I didn't get to sleep until around 2:00 this morning and then my brother called the room at 7:20. Five hours or so of sleep. Yay. Good thing work has been fairly quiet tonight.

I think I'm going to leave you all now and go read something. Either that or do some drawing. I haven't done that for a while. I still have some pictures stuck in my head.

Well, here it is, 7:32 pm on a Monday evening. Nothing exciting happening around here. There's three railroaders sitting here in the lobby, bullshitting. I've been mucking about with stuff. I added a counter to my intro section. It's very cute.

We had maybe a little over an inch of snow in an hour at home today. Mom got a little freaky on me and insisted that my brother and I go in to work together. So... we got here around 2:00 pm. I didn't need to be here until 4:00 and he doesn't have to be here until 11:00.... It didn't snow at all over here in Sioux City!!!! *sigh* At least I get to watch Cartoon Network after work tonight.

I'm having problems with the wireless connection again. *grrrrrrrr* It just cut out on me, so I have to copy all this post into Notepad and save it and restart the computer. Last night I stayed online with no problem while I was out on runs. I haven't had one run tonight and it just won't stay connected. Makes sense somewhere. I think after I get this posted, I'm just going to go offline and find something that doesn't involve the internet.

Well, I restarted the laptop in the hope that I'd be able to get back on the wireless. It didn't work. Thank heaven for flash drives!

   Rare late morning post.

Here it is, around 11:20 am and I'm posting. Saturday mornings are nice and lazy sometimes.

Well, I went to Sioux City with my brother yesterday. It was fun. I got another Japanese book. This one is on learning to read Japanese! Yay!

Today I'll have to go to work. Whee. My brother checked the schedule for me and said my hours got cut. I'm a little pissed off about that. I had started out with 40 hours a week, but lost a day to the boss's daughter. Now that it's "slow" I'm losing another day. Of course, the boss's daughter isn't going to be losing any hours. It makes me so mad sometimes. I've only worked there since the end of August, but I hate it. Some of the regulars are really nice, but on the whole, it drives me nuts. I didn't go to the trouble to get certified in web design to work in a motel. *sigh*

   It was dark and still.....

It's just about midnight now. I've been hanging around looking at stuff, and my eyes are starting to dry out. Bleh. I've also got a bit of a sore throat. Bleh again.

My Thursday wasn't exciting at all. Did laundry and worked on my Japanese. That's the extent of the excitement. At least I have clean clothes now.

Tomorrow, my brother and I are probably going to go to Sioux City and run around like maniacs. I have a couple books in at Barnes & Noble that I want to take a look at. I'll probably get both of them, even though I shouldn't.

My fat cat just came in here. I moved the spare chair back over here by the computer and she followed it. She's probably wondering why I'm not in bed yet. Gimme time, chub-butt, gimme time! It's funny, every morning at 11:00, she demands attention from me. So I have to sit on the floor and pet her and play with her and pound on her. Yes, my cat loves to be pounded on. I use an open palm and not my fist, so it's more of a smack than a pound. I have a weird cat. Her name is Neko! She's 14 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. She likes to sleep with me and take up a good chunk of my bed!

Well, I think I'm gonna go to bed here. I'm all out of FMA DVDs to watch and don't feel like going downstairs to grab the Trigun DVD. There's a picture stuck in my head, but the motivation to grab pencil hasn't quite taken hold of me yet. I think I may read a bit and then sleep.

   So... bored.....

Late-ish Wednesday night, actually. I'm a little bored. For some weird reason, known only unto itself, my internet connection speed here at home is a whopping 38.6 Kbps! The speed is so blinding, I can hardly contain myself.

So... how's things with you guys? I had an okay day. I was going to do laundry, but ended up at my sister's house helping her write a resume. It's her first one ever! It was fun. We did a lot of talking and laughing along with it, of course. Then I came home and typed it up on MS Word and emailed it to someone to take a look at it. I hope it turned out okay.

I think I may just give up on the computer now. I got a little put out at my mom today. She still thinks that any time I spend on the computer is wasted. She & Dad can sit and play games on it and it's not a problem. I try to do anything, and she objects. It's very frustrating for a person that is trying to get a job doing web design to be told they shouldn't be on the computer.

Anyhoo... I go look at one more thing here, then it's time to watch my FMA DVD.

Yep, Tuesday night at work. Whee. Not much is going on. One of my coworkers stopped by to warn us that the bum was on his way over here. We have the maintenance guy looking for him. We had him arrested Saturday night after he scared a bunch of teenage girls.

Well, then. What can I say? Not much is going on here at the hotel. We don't have a lot of people in. It's a rather slow time of year.

I did pull up the practice test for that last CIW exam that I need to take. I really have to get studying so I can get that thing out of the way!! That's my goal for January: take the last CIW test! I have 22 days to get it done. I'll keep you all posted.
