   Desperately seeking noodles....

Well... I was going to post around midnight, but a couple things happened...
1. My mom couldn't sleep, so she came into the office to see what I was doing.
2. The computer froze up and I decided not to get back online because Mom wanted to play games.

I'll probably post later this evening, but I had to get this little news flash in....

MY KAKASHI PICTURE IS IN THE NEW SHONEN JUMP!!!!!

Yep, it finally made it into print. Check out the December issue on page 88 and there he is! My brother had his copy sitting on the table when I got up this morning and I started to read while eating breakfast. There was a piece of paper in it and I thought it was his bookmark. It was marking the page where the fanart for Naruto is. I almost didn't look at the page, but glanced down and saw my name. What a rush!!!

Well, I'm at the library and should probably stroll back home to see if the brother is conscious yet. It's almost 3:00 pm and he's still snoozing!

   Where have my noodles gone?

Hmm.. I guess I didn't post anything last night at work. Well, nothing exciting happened last night either. Gads, my life is excessively exciting. *falls off stool in excitement*

The good thing is, I have tomorrow and Friday nights off! Whee!!!! I'll probably be back in town here both days. Thursday with the parentals & Friday with the brother.

   An unhealthy obsession with noodles....

Well, here it is... almost time to go home. I hope you all had a good Halloween. I had to work and was mostly bored. So I TPed a couple sites.

Anyhoo...an explanation of how I got those things at the hockey game yesterday.

1 dozen donuts: Everyone gets these when the Musketeers score their first power play goal.

1/2 gallon milk: Everyone gets this when they score a second power play goal. If there had been a third one, we'd all have gotten a 1/2 gallon of orange juice.

Mini golf: If the Musketeers scored in the first five minutes of the second period, everyone in a certain section got coupons for mini golf, go carts or bowling. We happened to be in the right section and got mini golf tickets.

Potential cell phone: it was duct taped to an empty seat down the row from me. I grabbed it. If I turn in the certificate and sign up for 2 years with Sprint, I get a free cell phone. I don't know if I will do it or not. I live in Cell Phone Hell.

Well, the Musketeers won that hockey game Saturday night with a score of 3 to 1. They also won their game Sunday evening with a score of 4 to 2. Yay! New goalie is good.

At the game I got a dozen donuts, a half gallon of milk, a free game of mini-golf and a potential cell phone. Details will follow at a later time when I'm not so tired.

Work is here. Yay. I wish I wasn't here. I'd rather be at the TEC for the Musketeers game. Last score I heard on the radio the Muskies were ahead 3 to 1. Yay!!!

Nothing else is going on.... There's actually no wedding party in here tonight, so it's quiet. Too quiet.... I don't like it. Actually, I do. It's very nice not having to deal with drunk wedding guests.

   So flippin' bored....

Yes... it's that dull here tonight. You'd expect a Friday to be hopping, but it isn't. I'm so bored that the computer is not holding my attention very well.

I realize that I've been very bad about visiting sites lately. I apologize profusely for that! I need to get back to all that have signed my guestbook in the past month or two as well. It's just that with the super slow computers at work I just lose patience with the thing and give up. Rumor has it that these things are going to be hooked up to a high speed line eventually. I'm not holding my breath for it to happen anytime soon. I'm going to try to get to sites and to those who've signed the guestbook more in the future.

   Sick and tired...

Well, Thursday was pretty uneventful. I went to Sioux City with the parentals as I said I would. I did the driving. It was fun. I found a counted cross stitch pattern for a dragon. Really cool. I'll get to it eventually. I need to finish that Native American angel that I'm doing first.

I am so tired of this cold. I lost around an hour of sleep last night to a coughing spell again. I have a goal of being rid of this cough by the end of the month. I don't know if I'll ever stop coughing, however.

Well, I'm gonna cut this short because I have a headache from coughing and am rather tired from lack of sleep.

I had today off. Yes! *does a happy dance* It was so nice not to have to deal with whiney people. I didn't do much of interest today. Isn't that grand? I have tomorrow off, too. Yippee!!! I'll be going to Sioux City with the parentals. That can be fun, but I get to drive. Their car is having power steering issues. It still works, but it's noisy.

Comment on comments from a previous post: SunfallE, yes, you're right, cars & pickups usually will lose arguments with semis. But, talking to the railroaders that stay in the motel, EVERYTHING will lose an argument with a train. One day one of the crews hit an SUV. They clipped the rear end of it and no one was hurt, but they weren't happy. I suppose the guys would have a lot of horror stories about things and trains meeting in a messy way.

Additional whine from last night: one of the hallways smelled like fish. ... Yes, you read that right. FISH! I had the girl I was working with go check the hallway and she said it smelled like someone was grilling fish in their room!!! We had no way of telling what room it was coming from. However, it's against the rules to grill in the rooms. Microwave, yes. Grill, no. Some people...

Well, I'm back. I still have some end of shift stuff to take care of, so I'll cut this short. I have a headache from my coughing and from the whiney, whiney guests that don't get exactly what they want. I just wish I could say to this one guy, "Gee, Mr. L*******, I guess I could put you in the north building on the top floor as far away from the front of this building as possible. I guess I could put you on the roof or in the empty swimming pool with a towel for a blanket! Just take the frickin' room I put you in and stop your whining! It's not like you're paying for the room out of your own pocket, you big idiot!" But... alas, I cannot tell him that. Not to his face, anyways.... *wink*

Work is here. I am here. I am not bored. There was an accident at the intersection. A pickup lost an argument with a semi. The pickup also lost a wheel.

Other excitement: NADA!!! I lead such an exciting life. I spent a while getting my new wireless USB thingy to work so I can be online. It's obviously working now or I wouldn't be posting. Duh.
