   More writing (really bizarre)
A couple years ago, I got a book called "A Writer's Book of Days." It's got a topic/starter for each day of the year. It's really cool, however I have been really bad about writing each night since things went to hell on me in the middle of March. Here's something from last year:

"Some things you'll never forget," my brother said one night. "No, sir. There are just some things out there that make such an indelible impression on none's brain that no matter how hard they try, they'll just never be able to forget it."

"What are you talking about?" Mom asked. She was the first of us to question what he was on about.

My brother sat back in his chair and got this slightly philosophical look in his eye. "What I'm talking about is how certain things or events can be forever engraved in one's memory. I mean, there's something out there that has burrowed into my mind in such a manner that I am going to remember it until my dying day."

"What could it be? It can't be much, considering you're only 10 years old and haven't experienced much."

My brother looked at Mom and said, "Chicken dance." Then we all understood exactly what he meant as Dad wandered through the room flapping his arms and singing....
