23 days to go!!!!
Yes. That's the number I saw at Barnes & Noble today (thursday) until the new Harry Potter book comes out. I still have a little less than half of the third book to read, as well as the fourth, fifth & sixth ones, before then! Wish me luck!!!

Well, I solved the tire issue today. I called Wal-mart Automotive and spoke to the manager. He seemed to be aware that the Douglas tires weren't any good and said they'd replace the tires at a cost pro-rated against the wear of the old ones. That was acceptible to me only if they'd upgrade me to a brand of tire that I know is good. They did that, too. So, it ended up the guy that replaced the tires couldn't judge how much to pro-rate because he had to do it based on the amount of tread left on the old ones. Well, there was NO tread left. They ended up giving me half off each of the new tires. It the long run, I basically got a tire for free. However, I probably won't be going back to Wal-mart for tires.
The fun thing is, while waiting for the tires to be done, I was wandering into the electronics section and was about to look at cell phones out of curiosity when someone behind me said, "You don't want that!" I turned around and it was one of the guys that I go to for oil changes sometimes. He works part time in the games department at Wal-mart or something like that as well as owning his own auto service business. So I talked with him about cell phones and video games for a while. Oh yeah, and Harry Potter books.
After Wal-mart, I went to the Pizza Hut across the street for lunch. I was really really hungry by the time I got to Wal-mart in the first place! Then I went to Hobby Lobby and got myself a few more Copic markers. I now have a darker flesh tone and a couple shades of brown! (Yay!) After that, it was off to the mall to see if my book was in at B&N. I also looked for a comic book and some manga. None of what I was looking for was in yet, but my special order book was. I've got yet another Japanese language type book. Whee! Then to Target for a new bath mat (exciting!) and other stuff. Then home to do the laundry.
I bet you thought I forgot to do laundry on a Thursday, didn't you? Hahaha!!!!

Well, now I must go and find something interesting to do. Either that, or go to bed. Anyhoo... I have to work all weekend. It's a busy weekend. Fortunately, I have someone that has half a clue to work with on Friday. But Saturday is going to be pure HELL! We're overbooked and I have to work with the psycho by myself. I am not happy about it at all. And on top of that, the guy that's supposed to come in at 11:00 on Friday and Saturday nights thinks it's hilarious to come in late. I think he's a complete and total IDIOT! I have absolutely no respect for him whatsoever.
Anyhoo... I'm off now. If I don't update for a few days, you'll know why!
Laters!
