   Somehow I survived the weekend.
It was a busy weekend at motel-hell. Friday night was really busy. I had a headache and was feeling pretty much crappy. Some wench decided to rip me a new one a couple times because things weren't perfect for her little softball team. I was almost to the point of walking out the front door and not looking back. That's the second or third time this month that the sales director has "promised" groups something that she's got no right to promise. One of the other girls that works the front desk thinks the sales director needs to work one of these weekends and see what we go through.

Saturday wasn't quite as busy. It still sucked that I had to work. I could have gone up to Grandview Park to see B.B. King! But no, I was stuck in the motel with a slightly psychotic coworker and a bitchy lifeguard. The big kicker about the B.B. King concert: IT WAS FREE!!!!!!! Every year on the weekend closest to the 4th of July, there's an all day long free concert up at Grandview park. There's lots of bands playing & one big headliner. One year it was Brian Setzer. And now the sad part... I've never been able to go to these concerts in all the years they've been going on!

Other sucky thing about the weekend.... I bought some Copic markers at Hobby Lobby the other day. I needed some brown markers because I want to do a picture that involves a brown-haired girl. Also because I didn't have any brown markers at all. Well, one of them is completely dry. I wasn't happy. I discovered that last night and have to wait until tomorrow to go back to the store to see if they'll replace it. I hope they do. I wouldn't be very happy if they don't replace it for me.

Well... that's about it for me. I suppose I should actually work on something constructive instead of playing on my computer. It's still too early for me to do anything actually related to work right now. Sunday nights are great.... really dead compared to Friday & Saturday.

Laters!
