   Aaaaaggggghhhh!!!!!!!!
Frustration strikes again! Tonight's source of frustration: my own brain!

Okay...I'm not a stupid person. Computers don't scare me. I can usually get them to bend to my will. So, why is MS Access driving me absolutely nuts? I go through the tutorials. I look at my books from class and the four books I have on it from the library. I even play with the program on Demon Spawn. So... what is it about the thing that leaves me staring at the computer screen and feeling like my brain has just been sucked out my ear with a straw, put in a blender on frappe, and poured back into my ear?

Well, tomorrow I am hopefully going to take a couple of the tests that I've been studying for. I'm going to tackle the Word tests. I hope I can take them. If not, I suppose I'll use the time over there to go over the Access tutorials on a connection that is slightly faster than the snail of a dialup connection that I have here at home.

So now I think I'll hit sites. Maybe later I'll try to do something on Access again. Maybe I'll find a nice wall to bang my head against.

Laters!

Edit: While watching CSI: NY this evening, there was a local newsbreak with sad news. There was a fire at the Henry Doorly Zoo last night. Nine animals died - 7 Nile Lechwe and 2 Sandhills Cranes. So sad... the Nile Lechwe is an endangered antelope-like critter from the Sudan. Really kind of cute. What's really sad is that it was half the herd, and the herd has been a part of the zoo since the 1960s. Sandhills Cranes are also endangered, but their habitat isn't shrinking like the Lechwe habitat. The Lechwe is losing their native habitat in the Sudan to war. Another sad thing...
