Yes, my mind has become one long Pink Floyd song again.
Class was not too bad today. I'm slowly getting the hang of Java. I'm definitely going to have to go through the book again, just to make sure I get a better grip on things. Well, on Java anyways.
I got out of class at 2:30 this afternoon, so I went to Borders out on 132nd street in Omaha to look at computer books. I found a few titles I'd like to have, but need to have money first.
I also went and wandered around in the manga section. I was very good and didn't buy anything, although I was seriously tempted by
Trigun Maximum #4 and
Rurouni Kenshin #11. I did sit and read the Trigun one, however. Oh man.... I gotta get that!!! Same with Kenshin. *sigh*
One thing I didn't post for Wednesday was that I ran into a guy that I used to work for during a break in class! He's going to be hiring in the area where I now live, so I got his work email address and sent my resume off to him. Wish me luck! After all the crap I've been through, I hope something comes of it!
I've got about a half day of class left, if even that much. All that's left is two chapters in our book! Then I'm gonna have lunch with my sister and then go home!!
