   ....
Tuesday night....

Not a lot happened today, either. This morning I went and applied for an Internet Sales position at a car dealership in another town. I'm not holding my breath. This afternoon I did some more of the practice test for my first certificate. I am really convinced that Networking is out to get me.... This evening I watched an old movie with my brother. Such excitement.

Well...since I moved up here, I've been storing some of my stuff in the basement at my sister's house. We had a heavy rainstorm yesterday and my brother-in-law called to let me know that some of my hockey cards got wet. "Some" happens to be approximately 3000 cards. I could have cried when I heard the news. I was hoping to sell them. I need to go through what's there and see if any can be salvaged. There was a box of cards that I was saving for myself. Except for the ones that are in little plastic sleeves, most of them are beyond hope of saving. I have been collecting cards for around 15 years, so there's a lot of cards there. It just makes me so sad.

Oh... I forgot to tell you what that set of lyrics was yesterday. It's the lyrics from The Flesh Failures (Let the Sunshine In) from Hair. As you can see, it's not really a happy song. So whenever you hear the 5th Dimension's version of Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In, it's totally out of context. What is going on with that final song is basically a symbolic representation of the death of one of the characters in VietNam. Hair was produced during the VietNam conflict, so it has something of an anti-war message.

Sorry to bore you people with this, but I'm of an age where I can remember a little bit of that time. And some of the things brought out in the musical apply to life today.

Hmm... I seem to have waxed philosophical at you there. I apologize if it confused or bored you.

I leave you with this: I was 3 hits away from 2300 when I got here tonight... and I broke into the top 200 in the ranks. Okay, I actually broke that barrier late last week. I just wanted to make sure I stayed under 200. Thanks to all of you that have come here to read my latest psychotic babblings.

Laters!
