Satyrday comes to an end.
Well, I was almost blown away today, but not to Bermuda. The wind would have blown me to Canada!
My brother & I decided to go somewhere today and ended up in Storm Lake, Iowa. We didn't actually end up in the lake, but were dang close to it. The only problem is:
We didn't have our cameras!!!! It was cold 'cause the wind was coming across the lake at us. I dressed for an 80 degree day, so was pleasantly surprised by how cold the wind was over there!
The truly cool thing was all the wind turbines we passed. In the haze, they looked so surreal. I've done some searching around on the Web and have found out that the wind farm up there is the largest one in the world! Over 250 wind turbines are around Storm Lake, Iowa! I wish I had pictures to show you guys. Maybe next time, my brother will listen when I say we should stop back at the house and grab our cameras!
Well, as I said yesterday, I'd have more flowers for you to look at. Here they are! More irises and some peonies. These are by the church next door.
