Monday...
Another thrill-a-minute day that included doing laundry. Seems to be the norm for Mondays.
I found some of my Hero-clix figures and lined them all up on a board. I wanted to see what I have. I went through the Marvel Comics ones, but not the DC Comics ones. I can only find one box of them. I know there's more DC guys... I've got Batman!
Thanks for the words of encouragement after yesterday's post. It means a lot to me. I'll let you in on one of the frustrating things in my life:
- I need a job.
- I would like to go to the mall in Sioux City to see if I can get something there.
- The mall is about 28 miles away.
- My car needs gas.
- Gas just shot up to $2.20 a gallon here.
- I have no money to buy gas.
- I need a job to get money.
- Return to item #2 and repeat ad infinitum.
So... you can see why I'm frustrated. I'm also frustrated by the slowness of my computer connection limiting the usability of certain job search websites. The frustration takes over and I end up giving up on the site. It's a vicious cycle.
We watched
Appleseed the other night. I thought it was pretty good.
Well, I did make it to a few sites tonight. That's an accomplishment in itself. Will make more headway on visiting soon!
