He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich....
Monday night is Eighties Night!!

Yeah... been listening to some of my 80s music again. I really need to get some more of some of this stuff....

Anyhoo... I did do a little more today than yesterday. As usual a couple loads of towels were washed. I did two of the five drawings I need to do for that art test. I got to the point where I couldn't see straight while coloring in the pictures, so I gave up for the day. So far I've drawn a cute bat for a Halloween design and a set of gingerbread twins for a Christmas design. I don't know what else I'm going to do... maybe some cute fish and animals. Then I gotta do some computer designs as well. *sigh*

I do have an interview tomorrow at the motel where my brother works. It's not exactly what I'm looking for, but it would be a job. I've worked in a motel before. It's a job that can make you crazy at times. The motel I worked in previously was in Rapid City, South Dakota. It's a trip working there in the summer... especially when Sturgis Week is in full swing!

I really need to get back to studying! I have another test to go and I'll have my Master CIW Designer certification out of the way. Also, I haven't touched Java in over a month!!

I'm so bad on a bunch of stuff. The only thing I've been doing to enrich my mind is working on learning Japanese. It's been almost a year since I touched my Ancient Greek! I really need to get back to that!!! I also need to start writing again. I think subconsciously I've quit writing because I'm almost out of paper in the notebook I've been using. I don't want to mooch a notebook off my brother after he was nice enough to get me a new sketchbook so I can do the pictures for that art test.

By the way, Sturgis Week is the annual gathering of motorcycles in the Black Hills of South Dakota... particularly in the town of Sturgis. I've been up there once during Sturgis Week. The amount of motorcycles is phenomenal! Several years later, while at the Goosenecks of the San Juan River State Park in Utah, I met a lady who was from Sturgis originally. Turns out her father was one of the guys that started the rally. Cool.

I saw this on katocool's site and just had to take it. Too bad many of the bands listed there were either ones that I can't stand or haven't heard of. I don't listen to the radio up here because it sucks. I guess I got spoiled by the stations down in Omaha & Council Bluffs.
