I'm feeling much better now....

Thursday night.

Just a quick post to thank those of you that commented about my "illness." The funny thing is, I don't feel bad. Sure I feel like I've been coughing up a lung for about a month, I haven't felt sick since the first few days when the cold first hit me. Since I got over that part, I haven't felt really really sick. Just tired.

Well, today I took my parents to Sioux City to do some shopping. Whee!! We ate at Culver's. YUMMY!!! I had a full card thingy, so my meal was free! You know, those buy four, get a fifth one free thingies. My fries were nice and hot. We then went to Wal-mart. I bought cereal, gum, some mints and a black zip sweatshirt to wear at work when I get cold. Then to the mall! We wandered around there for a bit and ended up at Barnes & Noble for a cup of coffee. Then to another grocery store and Target and Lowes. Wheee! It actually was kinda fun wandering around the Christmas stuff at Lowes. Then we looked at light fixtures. Some were very pretty and others made me wonder what the designers were trippin' on when they came up with them.

So...this "short" post ended up a little longer than I expected. Oops. Well, I'm gonna get offline now and run Spybot & Ad-aware. While that's going on, I'll run downstairs and take my medicine and get my writing stuff. Gotta babysit this beast while those things run.
