Engage autopilot....
Here it is, Saturday night, not quite 11:30 pm, and I'm functioning on autopilot. I got to bed around 2:30 this morning and probably didn't fall asleep until 3:00. My alarm went off at 8:30 as usual & I turned it off as usual. I then had a coughing fit and tried to sleep some more. But my sister called to get info about what's up with my Dad & brother. That was a bit after 9:00.
Thanks to all that commented yesterday. I really was stressed out by all that. I'm still a little stressed, but mostly tired. I should try to go to bed early, but it isn't gonna happen. For some weird reason, I chose between 11:00 and 12:00 to be the times I take my medicine.
Here's an update on things: both my Dad & brother are home. Dad is supposed to rest for a couple days and not overdo anything. My brother, on the other hand, has to be in bed so that vertebra can heal. He's got a Vertebral Compression Fracture and is in a lot of pain. He's also very frustrated. He can't move very well. I have the door to the office here open so I can hear him if he needs me to do anything for him. Same goes for my parents' bedroom door. So Mom & Dad can hear him, too.
As for me & my condition. I'm tired of course. I didn't want to stay at the hospital because of not wanting to make other people think I should be a patient. I have no insurance, so I wouldn't be able to afford being stuck in the hospital. I'm having a little problem with the breathing thing tonight. Every so often I start feeling wheezy and my lungs make a squeaky noise if I try to get a big gulp of air in. I haven't taken anything to work on the sinus congestion today, and that's probably why the lungs are working overtime.
And as for Mom. She's fine. She was a little stressed out by this whole thing as well, but was very happy that my sister & I are here to help out.
Well...I think I will entertain you all with a few pictures now.
I actually started to do this one yesterday, but didn't get very far with it. I got it figured out earlier this evening and here you go:
This one took a lot of luck and a little patience.
I'm ready for my closeup!
And finally, the finished version of my brother-in-law's tiger tattoo!
Well, with all that, I guess this unit has finally got to the point where sleep is a good idea. I have to go downstairs and take my pills. Blah.
Laters!
