Ever have one of those days...
....where you want to tell the entire world where to stick it? Well, Monday was one of them.

WARNING: SERIOUS RANTING AHEAD!!!! Strong language is involved.
(Note: "Today" means Monday. "Tomorrow" means Tuesday. It's after 1:00 am. I just got home from work and I'm too wound up to sleep yet.)

The day started out innocently enough with me being awoken from a rather nifty dream by noises outside the house. Guys were here to take out a bush and a treestump. Okay...nothing too horrible, except they were supposed to be here 2 weeks ago to do that stuff. Things went sort of downhill from there. Not only did they take out the bush at the front of the house, they took out our white lilac bush at the back of the house. I was told that only the unidentified bush at the front was going to go. Needless to say, I was a little upset by the sudden departure of a 12 foot tall lilac bush. Then they went at the maple tree at the side of the house and trimmed about half the branches off of it. I would have raised hell if they had kept going and took the entire tree out. It didn't end there... A year or three ago, a honeysuckle bush was taken out from the back of the house. The people that took it down, ripped the crap out of the lawn there and NEVER did anything about the huge chunk of grass that was missing. Well, today, something was finally going to be done about it. After I was at work, my brother called up and asked "Who the hell is that lady ripping the hell out of our lawn?" As I was at work and not at home, I couldn't tell him. She was rather rude to my brother about the whole thing and said if I had a problem with it, I was supposed to take it up with her. Well, two things: 1. I was at work; and 2. I didn't know who the hell was in our yard chewing out my brother for asking what she was doing. I do have an idea of who it was, and I told my brother that she is a fat bitch that can go fuck herself for all I care. She has no right to treat us like we don't have an opinion. She is not the person that is in charge of things when it comes to the property. I am going to call the man that is the one that is in charge of things tomorrow and let him know what happened with that lady and my brother. I'm also going to tell him that she owes us an apology for the way she acted. She's always been one to bitch about something if it isn't the way she thinks it should look. She also hasn't had the right to bitch like that for quite some time. She's no longer in charge of things. I did find out later that the roots of the lilac bush had grown into the foundation of the house. I can understand why it had to go. But still, I was told that only the bush at the front of the house was going to be removed.

Work wasn't much better. I think that for the entire first hour and a half that I was there, the other girl I was working with was at the desk maybe 30 minutes. The rest of the time was spent away from the desk smoking, talking on her cell phone, talking to her mother, or talking to the boss. She spends more time on that damn cell phone. I usually end up wanting to cram the thing up her arse. Of course while she was gone, the phone rang constantly and there was always at least three people at the counter wanting something. I have come to the conclusion that a telepathic signal goes out that makes everyone call at the same time and people walk in at the same time. What makes it worse is that the other girl gets this "I do absolutely everything around here" attitude on me. I go out on van runs. That's part of my job. If the phone rings or people need to check in while I'm out of the building, I sure as hell can't take care of it!

It's getting so I don't know what the hell is going on at work. I hate that place so much. The only time I enjoy my job is when I get to go out with the van. The news today is that the boss quit. The owner will be there tomorrow. I guess I better wear shoes and not my sandals tomorrow. Great. I'll be really miserable and uncomfortable. I hate having to wear shoes in the first place. I think it goes back to a previous life... I must have been Japanese or something. But that's another story... anyhoo... the owner is coming in. I've never met the guy, but have talked to him a few times long enough to transfer his phone calls to the boss. The reason I heard that she quit seems a little odd to me, but I don't know exactly what happened. Nor do I know what is going to happen. I hate that place so much.

Well... this sure turned out to be a long, drawn out rant. I apologize for that, peoples. It's just that I had quite the day and needed to vent. Thanks for putting up with me. Now I think I'll go hit the magic "Add Post" button and wait for it to submit. I'm up on the old WinME beasty upstairs. I want to do some typing in Word and this is the computer that has the fully functional version of MS Office on it.

Laters!
