   May 22nd
OMG OMG OMG Today was like the awesomest day in the history of ZE PLANET! lol. So as promised, I'm leaving you all a con journal!

CON JOURNAL:

To my horrible dismay, I ended up waking up very very early this Saturday morning. I mean, I still had stuff to finish sewing and all, so it's not like I had a choice or anything :P So, after toiling away, showering, and putting on makeup, I called my "FF Sister", and burnt my fingers making toast that didn't want to come out of the toaster *evil glare* So after bugging my mom to drive us there and get ready (I sooooooo can't wait to get my driver's license...and neither can she XDDD), we headed out on the road (after picking up a disposable camera, and waking up Court's boyfriend via yelling on her cellphone :P). The initial ride didn't take too long...I think like 1/2 an hour or so, but it was all gray outside, and we were soooo beyond tired, because it was a Saturday, and we woke up at 6:30 *oh the horror!*. When we got there, we discovered one very important piece of information that was missing. We should have gotten there earlier! We ended up waiting outside in a line (it was FREEZING and we were barely wearing anything lol) for about 2 hours. The wait itself wasn't bad, until it started to rain. Really hard. Luckily, my mom had brought an umbrella, but the wind was still freezing, and my skirt thingee still ended up getting wet. It dried eventually, but still, it looked really funny, because it was really short, and yah :P When we finally got in the doors, we had to get in another VERY LONG LINE to be given our passes. I'm telling you now...PRE REG! YOU WONT REGRET IT! So, after finally getting in, and fixing our sleeves (DAMN SLEEVES!!) we were imediately stopped by people who admired our costumes. Haha, the funny thing was, I think we only had one girl ask us for pictures, the rest were all guys (some of them weren't that bad looking either :P). I mean, why not? You've got two pretty, young girls wearing hardly anything lol :P So, after being stopped constantly, we ended up going to the dealer's room, which was where you buy all the stuff. I was kind of dissapointed, because all they had was manga and dvds, when I was looking for *affordable* wall merchandise. Well, I mean, they had a lot, but not the kind I needed. So we just browsed for a while, and i ended up buying some awesome cloud fan art, and random, but oh-so-cute buttons ^_^ After walking around in very high boots, my feet got tired, so we were gonna take a break and chill, but we were asked to pose by this really...ahem....weird guy. He was old, and round, and looked like Santa Claus lol :P And he asked Court and I to pose individually with his "finger trap" thing, and then together. We were kinda scared, because he asked us to do some odd poses lol :P And so we think he's like a finger trap fetish molester dude :P After finally starting to take pics of our own, we went to Swiss Chalet, where I saw the CUTEST GUY ON THE HISTORY OF THE PLANET...well, ok, let's not go that far...But he was very cute :P And then, upon coming back, we took a whole bunch of shots of these miroku and sanzo cosplayers. And then Court wanted me to stalk and snap some pictures of this cute Harry Potter cosplayer. So after scaring everyone away :P, naw, actually, people admired us for being brave, and showing our stuff :P we got into the lines for autographs. NEVER AGAIN. I REPEAT NEVER AGAIN! Lol. We ended up waiting in line for at least 3 hours, no joke. They ended up coming 1.5 hours late, so we stood in line for absolutely nothing, but upon seeing such traumatized faces, David Kaye and Richard Cox started screaming and yelling and jumping on tables, to everything was all good. They made 3 seperate lines, so we had no clue which one to go to, since we wanted all the autographs. So my mom ended up standing in line for David Kaye, Richie Cox, and Moneca Stori, and Court and I stood in line for Brian Drummond (but the third line, for Mr. Dobson ended up merging with the Drummond line, so it took even lomger). And then the unthinkable happened. We were 5 people away from the front of the line when the security told us that there wasn't enough time for them to give us autographs. After going through this experience before, I was definately more than pissed, and it showed. A lot. But there was another security guard, other than the mean one, which worked to our advantage. He was real cute, so when he came by to tell us the news, we gave him "the batting of the eyelashes" and the "puppy dog face", and although he really liked our attention, he said he couldn't promise us anything, but said that we could go infront, because due to technical difficulties, we could only go on Saturday ^_^ So he became my childhood hero #8526. Even with our promotion to the front, the mean security guard was still really mean, and was giving us (and the guy) these dirty looks lol. But any chance I got, I did the seductive smile thing to #8526, and he didn't regret his decision lol. So, when we eventually got there (Brian Drummond first) he started writing some stuff, when the mean guy said, "We have no time, just sign your name". And then Brian's like "Shutup you bastard" in a fat-bastard-from-austin-powers voice. And he went on to say that "can't you see I'm serving some pretty ladies? Go to hell." So we were laughing, and he's like my favourite ^_^ But we go waaaaay back. There's a memory from this con of Brian that has way more...um....value :P:P:P He asked me what my name was, and looked on my otaku badge thing, and was like "Stephanie..." and then started writing, and was like "Flash me that again! How do you spell it...ie at the end." And it was on my chest, so I was like *thrusts out chest* and then he was like "And this is why we don't get paid. Fan service!" and I was like *does pose* "Totally," and then we got into a convo about why people always mechanically put name tags on theit chests, and he was like "well, normally, people culd put it other places, but on your costume *eyes*, there really isn't another alternative, is there? And thanks for that." and Court and I were like laughing hysterically. and he's like "The best part of my job is seeing the pretty girls wearing skimpy outfits! I love T.O!...umm, who's you're favourite character?" And I was like "Sexy Zechsy!" and then he was laughing and was like "So I'm sexy now, am I." and chaos ensued :P And so, eventually, after our very intelligent conversation about boobs, he wrote "To Sexy Stephanie, from the man behind the mask. Brian Drummond- Sexy Zechsy." That was like the hilight of my trip ^_^ and he gave me a hug ^_^ And then we went over to Michael Dobson, who was such a nice guy, and commented on my costume and my pretty face lol :P He asked me my favourite character of his, and I said Dryden, so he wrote "For Lovely Stephanie: Love, peace, and power to the magical girls! Love always, Michael Dobson- Dreydan. XOXOXOX". We ended up taking pictures of both of them, and it was really cool. Both of them are awesome guys! So after that, we had to skip over this pole (upskirt shot lol) and jumped to take my mom's place in the line for the rest of the autographs. By the time we got there, our feet absolutely ached with pain. But, just as we got to get stuff signed, YTV came to the table to interview Richard Cox, Moneca Stori, and David Kaye, so you'll likely be seing me (the lenne cosplayer) and Court (the rinoa cosplayer) on tv anytime soon ^_^. The line had to rush for them too, so they didn't write long messages, but we all had a conversation about the number of "Stephanies" there are at the con. Since I was Lenne, and he had nothing else to write, Richie Cox wrote "Stephanie, La la la la la, la la la, la la la.-Richie Cox XOXO" Moneca (who is soooo pretty) wrote "Stephanie!! -Moneca Stori ~Kagome!~ XOXO. And last but not least, after giving me great compliments on my cosplaying achievements, and on how I fit the role very nicely, wrote "To Stephanie, XXOO, David Kaye". After that, I used the last of my film to take 3 group shots: One with all three of them, and two with Court and I standing with all three of them (one of them the flash wasn't on). So then I had one shot left, and I used it when I ran into this awesome Lady Luck Rikku ^_^ I luff you too! lol. So, after chilling and resting our feet, we decided it was time to go home, and stopped at Tim Hortons for an ice cap before taking off our crippling boots. I swear I'll never be able to walk the same again :P. All in all, it was a great day, and I can't wait until August, for CNAnime. Guess who's gonna be there, bright and early this time? ...Me ^_^. Well, I probably told you my whole life story, so I'll leave you look confused on peace :P Later guys, and I hope you come next time ^_^ OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, and P.S: I'm getting the pics developed tomorrow, so I'll put them on the site a.s.a.p ^_^ Well, I'll TTYL, my feet are still killing, and I've got to unpack all of my stuff from the van ^_^
