Konnichiwa everyone! Heh, sorry I have not posted in a couple of days, but I've been in the hospital and was just discharged a couple of hours ago this morning. My fingers and hands are sore from all the I.V's and blood tests they ran. Okay, so here is what happened. Some of you may remember me going into the hospital last summer too. This is a similar case. I have type 1 dibetes as many of you may already know. D.K.A , or Diabetic Ketone Acadosis is a VERY serious case in which diabetics go into ocasionally. A "ketone" is where the body cn collect no energy from "carbodyhydrates" or sugar ect, (which is why diabetics are the only ones who go into D.K.A.)therefore the body burns it's own fat, nutrients, ect to survive. Yes, when in D.K.A- You are at the bridge of life. Luckly though I am alive. Piku! Yay! In other words, I have survived my 2nd diagnosis of D.K.A! Which, might I add is pretty good.
