   Road Trip
We used to be so close
but now I feel so far
You used to drive me everywhere
but now I'm like your broken car

It has no whipers and no windsheild
to keep away the rain
it has no key to get on going
to drive away the pain

It keeps on moving yet it has no miles
there is nothing I can do
for it has no bumper to protect itself
from every crash like you

It has no brakes to stop this ride
and it has no will to start
the damage that you've done to it
should be considered a crule, true, art

Was that all you planned to acheive with me ?
Is that all you plan to do ?
Is start me up, then cut my brakes ?
I guess this road trip was only made for you.

Sorrow Underneath
i think of all my problems
i think of all my pain
i think of all my sorrow
until i go insane


i think of all the smiles i've worn
which hide sorrow underneath
no one seems to notice
that i go throught so much grief


my tears seem to keep
inside my dried eyes
each time i want to tell you
my words come out as lies


these days i'm feeling distant
far away and weak
my sadness pulls me further
from happiness i seak


i've just begun to realize
that my hopes and dreams are gone
i am walking down a deadend road
humming a tuneless song


i'm standing on a rooftop
although i'm scared of heights
i'm watching the cars beneath me move
and somehow this doesn't feel right


now i think of what i'm doing
i know i should find away
to beat my depression
will i be able to someday?


someone might be there
maybe they will listen and tell me what to do
i'm seeing through the darkness
and i am starting to trust a few
i think i'll try to make it
so i can be there for them too

What's Really There
i'm so confused about things
and i don't know what to do
and i'm always happy to say
that when i'm scared i turn to you.

but sometimes you are not home
and sometimes you're not here
sometimes i wish i had your sleeve
to brush away that tear.

i feel so shallow writing this
but it's all that i can say
and i wish i knew somehow to talk
other than this way.

i just can't express my feelings

God knows, i need some comfort
