my bros in the paper.
My brother got mentioned in the district paper. ^^ If you get the Reporter (provided you live in our district of course) and look under the Lyman section you'll see that the fourth graders did their oh, third or so, annual 50 mile hike (unfortuanetly for me they started it two years after I left 4th grade. XP) and the principal kind of made a journal of it in the paper. They only said Ryan, not his last name, but they still talked about him. The princ. said, and I quote, "Ryan is a big boy for his age, and he does not look like a child who would voluntarily hike a mile, let alone 50." That's pretty much all of the first part, though I might have missed a few details. Then he goes on to talk about how Ryan was lagging, and aching and getting blisters on his feet. He then continued with how Ryan ran ahead and all the other fourth graders cheered his name. But my favorite part of all was when after describing Ryan feeling crappy awhile more, the last line in the article, after him talking about their initial return it said "Ryan ran the last hundred yards." It made me really proud, needless to say. I amm probably making a big deal out of it but...yeah. *sniff* ANYWAY, that's all I wanted to say..That's my I like my brother moment of the week.
