Books (=
'The Outcasts of 18 Schuyler Place' by E. L. Konigsburg is a witty and stimulating book about a twelve-year-old girl on a mission to save the things she loves. It's a companion to 'Silent to the Bone'. I highly recommend them both. ^_^ The main character of the first book sings part of the British anthem to spite a woman with a queen-like complex:
*Sarcastically*
" God save our gracious Queen
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen."
*Truthfully*
"O Lord, our God, arise,
Scatter thine enemies,
And make them fall:
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On thee our hopes we fix:
God save us all."
I liked it. I dunno about you.
