Here's part two of my book!! WOOT!!!
...the war is over! We won!” Bill stared at his fair skinned friend. The blonde strands of his hair was dirty, to Bill, Ellon looked like a fallen angel in a misplaced hell of fire and blood. Bill put his arm around Ellon’s shoulders and walked him toward the base.
Ellon hung his head in guilt as they walked away as the others collected the dead and wounded.
“Forgive us, mother earth, thy womb cut open by pain. Forgive us, mother earth, for all have become deranged.” Ellon and Bill walked on as the rain poured over them, a wet, shining veil of pain and destiny.
The soldiers were in high spirits, booze and laughter rang through the showers. Ellon sat in the steamy gloom as the others shook Champaign bottles and sprayed the liquor at one another. The warm water engulfed his aching body in a soothing ecstasy. Every muscle relaxed and each pore opened to the rising steam, welcoming the heat. Bill approached Ellon holding two chilled bottles of Champaign and leapt into the water next to him, filled with intoxication.
“Hey Ellon! Stop being so depressed! It’s over!” Ellon sank into the warm water. Bill smiled and give Ellon a sly look.
“Looks like someone has a little secret, probably a slender fox, eh?” Ellon jumped out of the water as his face turned bright red. Bill laughed hysterically as Ellon returned to the water. Bill shoved an iced bottle against Ellon’s chest. Ellon jumped at the sudden chill and clasped the bottle in his slender hands. Bill clinked the necks of the bottles and raised it to his lips.
“Cheers my friend!” Bill chugged down the liquor in excessive gulps and shifted his brown eyes to Ellon. Ellon’s crystal eyes had a look of lingering depression as he sipped the drink. Bill could never figure him out at all! There was just something about Ellon that was just locked up so tight that you would probably have to go through a zillion keys before you could find the right one. Bill sighed, that’s what women liked about Ellon, his mysterious ways. Ellon never wore a smile on his face and never talked about his past or family, it made Bill wonder if he even had one. He looked toward his friend, so slender and frail looking but an amazing solider. Bill envied his talent and looks! How it would be if he was like Ellon!
Ellon turned to Bill, who had a dazed out look on his face. Ellon took another sip and looked into the steam. Knowing Bill’s mind Ellon’s face turned scarlet. He looked into the steam and whispered.
“Bill, you’re a pervert.”
Winds blow to the east, the savior hears the call
Mother earth reaches out for her son
As mountains burn and fall
A trilogy is now born

Chapter 2

“Ellon?...” Clocks ticked around Ellon as he walked down a strange hall of broken mirrors. Images flashed across each surface like broken memories hidden in the dark corners of someone’s mind. Ellon trudged on down the corridor, why was he having this dream? Voices reached into his feeble mind and brought chills up his spine.
“Ellon…” The woman’s voice drifted off his pointed ear and made him tense. He turned to find only a vast array of broken mirrors behind him. Ellon shrugged and walked on, still having the feeling as if you were being watched. The mirrors flashed images of joy and war with strange people of fair skin and pointed ears just like him! This dream was just getting weirder and weirder. Ellon walked on until he saw a certain mirror that was different from the rest. It was black rimmed and silver carved flowers embedded into the frame. He touched the patterns with amazement and felt relaxed as his touch traced the pattern.
“Ellon…” the mirror flashed with light and Ellon was thrust into the glossy surface. Ellon screamed as he fell through a night sky and landed on a forest floor. Ellon groaned as he sat up and rubbed his back. He looked at his surroundings; large dark trees surrounded him like a jail cell and the sky was dotted with stars, a full silver moon shined amongst it all. Ellon stood up and wondered through the dense landscape. The wind howled and fallen leaves crunched beneath his feet. The world around him seemed oddly familiar.
His ear twitched, the sound of light footsteps raced across the forest floor. Ellon turned to where the sound was coming from. A slender woman ran towards him, holding a bundle in her thin arms. Her clothes were shredded and dirty; her breath quickly escaped her lungs as her eyes glistened with obvious fear.
“Hey! Hey lady! Do you need help?” Ellon called to her as she drew near. Closer and closer she came but still did not heed his call. Ellon reached out his hands to catch her and a chill crawled up his spine. Ellon turned and watched the woman ran deeper into the forest. Was this just an illusion?
