HOLY FUCK, I'M ACTUALLY UPDATING THIS!!!!!!!


With a cross-post from my LJ. XD No honestly, I totally forgot I had this thing. heh.


So yeah. How was my vacation you ask? Not too shabby I suppose.

Left Chicago Wednesday morning. I made quite possibly the fastest time in all the time I've done this trip... I left here about 11am, made it to the Texas/Oklahoma border at 1am. Normally I stop to sleep at random rest stop in Missouri, but I actually made it to Texas before sleeping. (and slept at the rest stop at the border. heh)

Come to find out tho that Danzig/Kim/Zappa won't be in Houston til like 6pm on Thursday. So when I wake up at 8am, I have about 10 hours to kill. XD Only a little bit of that would be spent driving. So I took my time. Found a Whataburger, got some taquitos, randomly drove around Dallas for no reason, started down toward Houston, pulled over at another rest stop around noon, randomly slept til 2, drove more, stopped at a Super Walmart for a bit, went to Cici's Pizza for a bit, stopped at ANOTHER Super Walmart for no reason, and then finally got to the hotel at like 5. I think... Went to the bar, got a 5 dollar beer, and yeah.... >>;;; Watched some Eureka Seven on my iPod, and basically waited. Ran in to Kevin and Shaun, talked for a while about random stuff, then D/K/Z show up, we get the room, then go on a beer run around 10pm. Get back to the hotel, drink a little, and sleep.

Friday morning, Danzig & Kim had to get ready for the whole Hall Cosplay thing, and Kaylyn/Andrew were in route. I helped out a little with HC, and then moved to K/A's room. And yeah. Friday afternoon was pretty uneventful. Kuu showed up later, but I'll touch on that more later. >>;;;

So the line for the High & Mighty Color concert starts forming, Kaylyn wants to film the line and the Opening Ceremonies, so Andrew and I go get some pizza. Do that, come back, he goes to find her, I go to the room to eat.


This is where my problems start.....

I don't know where or why or how or whatever... But I'm just sitting there, eating pizza, drinking a beer, watching TV... I get quite possibly one of the most painful migraines I've ever had in my life. Like.... My head was POUNDING. I don't usually get these kind of migraines. But then next thing I know, I slump over, and pass out. Wake up around 8pm, head still in pain, say fuck it, and just succomb to it again. I totally missed everything Friday night, and I hate myself for that. The RNC Panel, the Keiichi dance, Kuu, etc. I missed it all, because of this unexplained pain in my head.

I finally wake up again 8am Saturday morning. (when i had briefly woken up before, i set the alarm on my phone for 9am, since i had to be up early that morning anyhow. i beat the alarm up) The pain was gone, but I was groggy, achey, and just overall out of it. But I went to the Anime Dating Game thing, where I was a contestant in the hotseat. So I do that, and yeah. I chose poorly. >>;;; After that was the Pose Off, which I was totally ready to help out with, til I had to pose... >>;;; I suck at posing. And especially when you add the overall shitty feeling I was feeling at that moment... Yeah... Let's hear it for making a flaming ass out of myself. =/

So, I leave. Go back to the room, try to relax for a bit, can't, and just get in Kankuro. Go back down, sit down for a minute, "hey, come pose again!" x.x;;; I made an ass out of myself once, I don't wanna make an ass out of myself twice. ;_; But oh well.

So after the Pose Off, I look for Kuu. She's with this Akatasu group. ;_; Oh well.

Head back up to the room, and watch the draft for a little bit. Then basically the rest of my day is spent chilling at the Para Para machine. WHEEEE!!!! =D

Back to room, out of Kanky, and go down for the cosplay. Then after, it's up to Proz's room for the party. Have a couple beers, play some Guitar Hero, Suger becomes the 7th person I know to say "if i wasn't with bf/fiancee/etc, i would so go out with you" to me, and yeah. Maybe it was said out of drunkenness, who knows. But tbh, there's a piece of me that dies when I hear that. I mean, yeah, some guys it might cheer them up. But me, it doesn't. It's like... Why is my luck so shitty that I fail so much in timing and whatnot? Sigh....

Back to my room, get in Kanky, go to Greg Ayers dance.... Leave maybe 45 minutes later. I'm sorry, but as a DJ, you NEVER have a period where you go a full 2 minutes without a single beat. And playing a remix of that "You're Unbelievable WHOA" song.... Just... GTFO Greg. I mean, first off, he insults people intelligence, telling them that despite the fact they're at an anime con, they don't want to hear Japanese music. Uhhhh................ Then, (if you can even hear what he's saying with that stupid voice modifyer thingie that makes it sound like he's choking on someone's cock) he makes a big deal when he DOES play a Japanese song... I'm sorry, you may be a halfway decent voice actor, but you have no business being a DJ. Try that shit at a regular club, and you'll get boo'd right off stage.

ANYHOW.....

I'm back in the room by 2am. Kaylyn's out like a light, but I think I woke her up.... >>;;;

Sleep, wake up, pack, leave. Exciting. =/

Got home Monday afternoon, went to Dynamis, and got some AF2. =D

Massive drama went down over the weekend it would appear, but meh. Figure it out eventually I guess. (actually, i think i might be going for DRG job leader now... XD)


But yeah. Migraine hit again Tuesday Night. =/

Work sucks, but what else is new.


I have a huge crush on Kuu..... >>;;;; But I really don't see anything coming from it. =( I guess Suger told her while I was driving home, and all she said was "oh". ;_; And all my subtle hints during the con went nowhere.

So again, I ask... Why do I suck so much with women. =/



So I guess that's it. I'm a bit emo right now from all this stuff, so I'll just end the madness here.
