My trip to Florida Part 2
Continuing on.
After a couple months, it became November. Halloween was amazingly busy and it took just about everyone working that day to keep sanity and order while kids dressed as Pirates, Princesses, and other Disney characters ran around like turkey's without heads. It was fun and we even handed out treats as part of our Magical Moment instead of the traditional apple cobbler.
A little while after that, my manager Thomas decided it would be a good idea to make a game of ring toss and gave me permission to spend my day playing with kids and adults alike, just because it was Halloween. He set a goal of at least 20 people playing. I got about 100-115 poeple to play and that was after only a couple hours. It was amazing.
However, everything slowed down for Disney on November 13, 2007. The International Food and Wine Festival came to a close on the 11th, but there was a sale for people going on the 12th, so everything finally almost died on the 13th. It was less than a week later that my life in Florida shattered.
I went to do a check-up at the doctor and asked about the echo I did in September. I hadn't recieved a call or anything, but I was still curious as to what the report said. The doctor looked and said I had, among other minor things, mild Pulminary Hypertension. She explained what I thought was the hypertension, but she was explaining what a prolapse was.
This prolapse is common among women and men alike and most live their entire lives without feeling it or having symptoms. It isn't deadly, just annoying for the small percent that feels it.
However, she didn't explain the hypertension. I found that out by myself. Basically, there are two forms. Primary and Secondary: Primary= really bad, really fast. Kills. Secondary= not lethal right away, however you have to take medicine to not feel the symptoms and over time, it kills you. In either case, you cannot have kids because it can kill you or the baby or both and you basically have to not do anything too strenuous for the rest of your life.
If you know me, this would mean no traditional bakery for me.
So after another few months of research and doctor visits, I found that life with hypertension would suck and I was depressed beyond all reason. My relationship was failing and when I told him I was going home early, he flipped and threatened to run my mom down with a car, among other things. I called the cops, got my stuff and the next day I was on a plane home.
Unfortunately, I was retarded and gave my psycho ex another chance and entered a mentally abusive relationship, which is why I didn't talk to any of my friends. I didn't go anywhere and didn't do anything without his approval. It was a sucktastic relationship and I ended it on the 16th of January. I found out just the other day that I may just have a severe anxiety disorder as many, many tests later revealed I do not have said deadly disease.
They did find problems with my thyroid, so now I'm on medication for it. No problem, I just wake at the ass crack of day for almost no reason and go back to bed.
And if that all weren't enough...I had the biggest crush on a co-worker at Disney and when I left he kissed my hand and I was dancing inside like a child only to find out that he's 1 1/2 years younger than me!! T_T Oh well, it wouldn't work anyways...
That about wraps up my Floridian escapades. I left out the stuff I didn't want to talk about, for the most part and stuff.
Oh yeah!! I found a couple really good bands while I was in Florida and it has nothing to do with Florida. I found a band called Sound Horizon. They're from Japan, as you should expect of me, and they're amazing. All their songs are part of a giant story which is cool. You can find them on youtube.com.
The next band is a solo artist called Tsukiko Amano and she's totally amazing and can also be found on youtube.com. She did the theme to Fatal Frame 3 called Koe and is amazing.
That's about it!
