   I'm not dead yet!
Well, its been a few months hasn't it?

Now that I have a new job with internet access, I can't really complain about the internet getting in the way of my blogging unless they take my computer away. There is currently not a single task that needs to be done that I cannot handle in less time than it should take that they are willing to give to me, so my time is quite free and I'll bet that I could get away with an hours nap with the door open.

I decided that graduating had to take first priority this semester, so I started by signing up for classes one and a half weeks before school was back in session (a great example of my intense determination (this is severe sarcasm)). It turned out that of the five courses I needed, one required me to be in a business environment that applies to my degree, and a hamburger shack has nothing to do with architecture (unless I want to design hamburger shacks (I might)). My only option was an on campus position in facilities where they would hire me immediately. Needless to say, I took the job and am quite happy with it minus the fact that I'm not guaranteed a paycheck until the bureaucracy that is any generic junior college has set me on the payroll (They wont print me a time card, but my name is on the mailbox...). As it is, adjusting to office life is pretty easy when you have no work to do. It did take me a week to find out how to get the monster printer in my office to work, but there hasn't been much to print off - I've made myself a few anime posters.

I still love anime and especially manga, so I've been keeping a "ritual" afterschool run to Borders to read a volume or two of manga. Recently, I've been reading Ai Yori Aoshi and realizing just how lucky you would be to be an average guy who is also a main character in a story with very complex and beautiful women (unless you think about Naruto or something where everyone has a complex). Another one I just picked up was called "Aoi House", and while I didn't catch the author's name this had to have been the funniest beginning to any featured story I've ever seen. It has lots of references that only otaku can understand, because they are only specific enough to need permission from the original publishers (or something like that).

Anyway, Ikki Con is next weekend and I'll be doing the patent pending "Ninja Con Strike" that I've had in development since A-Fest (for details go to Ikki Con in Austin,TX and ask the ninja dressed in black). I'll see about catching up on my blogs during the week, so read up you crazy readers.
