World Affairs
Ahh, the problem of thinking that you know but not being sure of what you know. This is the dilemma of the American people. My problem with it is that some just stop speculating and let it happen as it may. John Mayer had a song about waiting on the world to change. Is he doing anything? Waiting.
I'm just saying that talking and singing in passive tones wont do much, you have to be willing to make that change yourself. Its just too bad that nowadays the only way to do something this great you have to have not only the will, but the power to do it. The kind of power that can only be attained with lots of money and broadcast television. I dont mean to be a downer, its just that thinking about the world depresses me in general. Just dont think that because of what I have written that you are powerless to change anything, because we all have our gifts and our hope that tomorrow is better, so don't fret about tomorrow if you believe in your ability to make it better.
The people of the United States have the power to change things because of our Bill of Rights. Especially in the case of our freedom of speech. And while we constantly disagree, things dont appear to change. Only if the nation moves with one mind to make tomorrow better can we change it radically.
The mundane quality of life leads us to believe that we have no power unless our gifts have brought us to such positions such as a political radio figure, or a popular artist. But that power still has to be used correctly.
Now I have to tell you that I believe in the power of the unseen, because that belief is my ninja power. The unseen moves to change the world daily with our own lives and desires. It is more than power, because there is no way to harness it or know the full outcome of it. It is what keeps me from worrying about tomorrow, because I believe all will be good in the end.
